I feel like my boyfriend is also still not over his ex-girlfriend. He started dating me shortly after they broke up. I always feel second. He told me that they have way more in common and that her personality was way more…likeable? I relate a lot to this song.
You shouldn’t have to feel second in any relationship! I would say definitely bring it up and talk about how his comments make you feel because if he’s not over his ex, that’s his problem, you don’t need to be his rebound and get yourself hurt just so he can feel better. Just telling you this and to be really careful because I was just in a similar situation (literally these past few months) and turns out he was cheating on me the whole time with her. I broke up with him today.
