I found this song after getting help I was sexually abused at the age of 8-9 . I’m finally getting help. I’m 13 and my voice no longer be silent. I can really relate to the line “ and to the boys who don’t care who they destroy and told us no is not a choice” “no man can demand my body, my spirit my love,”This means so much to me especially how she wrote about being a Survivor. I am a survivor. My voice will not be silenced!

This song is really beautiful, and I think I speak for many other survivors. I was barely in first grade when I first encountered SA and I think female empowering songs about saying no are really important! Normalize saying no.

I know how you feel, I was r@ped in second, third and a term of forth by a trusted friend who my mum is still in contact with his mum but they don’t know, he also SAd my younger sister once but then she threatened him as she’s definitely the strongest one of us, my mother raised me that men are superior whereas hers that women are equals and I learned that from her now, he also tried our best friend but she hit him with a stick and kicked his balls and he went crying 😂
I listened to your song over a hundred times since it first came out and seeing it in music video has made me realize how far I've gotten from that point in time. Also how much I absolutely LOVE your music. I still listen to it constantly

I have been Sexually abused all threw out My life at different points this song gives me hope that maybe our future will be better
Seeing as I was actually sexually assaulted and raped at the age of 13,I can really relate to the lyrics! The part of the lyrics that went "And for the boys who don't care who they destroy told us no was not a choice you cannot silence our voice" was really relatable bc the guy who hurt me in that way always acted like that. He never gave me any choice and he was very abusive and threatening. He'd force me into things I wasn't comfortable with.
As a thirteen year old, the thought of something like this happening to someone like me, agewise, is absolutely terrifying. I'm so sorry you had to go through something like that, and I hope your okay now.

here is a story I wrote about this song Title: No Man Can Demand: Lilly's Liberation
Chapter 1: The Revelation
Lilly sat alone in her dimly lit room, her heart heavy with the weight of memories and regrets. The haunting melody of the song echoed through the silence, stirring emotions she had long tried to bury. Tears welled up in her eyes as she listened to the lyrics, each word a painful reminder of the love she had lost.
"So you say you really miss me?" she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. The name James hung in the air like a bitter pill, a constant reminder of the man who had broken her heart. She had once believed his promises, his declarations of love, but now she saw them for what they truly were: empty words meant to manipulate and control.
Chapter 2: Reflections
As the song played on, Lilly couldn't help but reflect on the past, on the moments she had allowed James to walk all over her. She remembered the sleepless nights, the endless arguments, the feeling of suffocation that seemed to consume her every time he was near.
But now, as she listened to the defiant lyrics, she felt a spark of something new ignite within her-a sense of empowerment she hadn't felt in years. She was tired of being a victim, tired of letting James dictate her worth. It was time to take back control of her life.
Chapter 3: Closure

Chapter 4: Empowerment
Empowerment was a foreign concept to Lilly at first, a distant dream she never thought she could attain. But as she began to reclaim her power, to stand up for herself in ways she never thought possible, she realized that she was stronger than she had ever imagined.
She surrounded herself with friends who uplifted her, who reminded her of her worth even when she struggled to see it herself. And as she looked ahead, she knew that no man, especially not James, could ever again demand her body, her spirit, her love.
Chapter 5: Liberation
In the end, Lilly found liberation in the most unexpected of places: within herself. She let go of the anger and the pain, embracing the journey of self-discovery with open arms. She was no longer defined by her past, by the mistakes she had made or the love she had lost.
So as the final notes of the song faded away, Lilly smiled through her tears, knowing that she had finally found her way back to herself. James may have broken her heart, but he could never break her spirit. She was Lilly-strong, resilient, and ready to take on the world. And no man could ever demand her again. By the way this is about my past relationship
i love the color usage and symbolism, it really highlights the pure anger and passion of the strong women who survive and grow from where they were cut down. it highlights the resilience of women. ❤

@@MelinaKB the choreography is absolutely amazing, and how especially in the beginning it was all on beat (and on the 'highs without the lows' how everyone dropped down was clever). the camera moving around gave the video more feeling and felt dynamic (i think that's the word?) as well. amazing music video :D
Bro I seriously thought this was from a musical 😭 This song is so freaking good! I usually listen to emo/alternative rock but I can definitely make an exception for this one! Awesome work, girl boss. I was in a pretty bad relationship... and a friendship that was exactly like what this song depicts. I haven't related to a lot of songs, but this is definitely one of them.

I want to say, thank you for making and sharing this song with so many people. When I first discovered this song I was obsessed, but in a very good and powerfull way. I thought of the lyrics everyday and it made me realise that An event of my past was more serious then I thought (no r***, but touched inappropriately). That was the moment when I took some time to deeply think about my past and I let all the emotions and memories of that experience flow. Thanks to you I got to finally exept that that was a crappy moment and I accepted the fact that I get to feel bad about it, because it was out of my control.

Honestly, “I’ve Had Enough” could totally be in Hamilton after Alexander cheated on Eliza.
I definitely think that “Unavoidable” could be in SIX. I totally can picture any of the queens singing this, especially Katherine Howard bc she had all the ex’d before Henry, and she died because she fell in love with Henry. Then, Henry was away for a long time and I think that’s where the “unavailable” part of the song comes in, because Henry was never around.
