It’s official, we’re putting on a production of “Playing Adult: The Musical”! Students Lauren and Hayden are cast as the lead lovebirds in the show, and it has the whole school BUZZING. Their chemistry onstage is undeniable… but rumor has it that castmates have spotted them flirting while running lines backstage. Are they just acting their roles, or is a real showmance brewing?
The will-they-won’t-they has us on the edge of our seats, and only this video will spotlight the truth.

@@meganrentfrow8393 make their lives hell until they treat people better. Tell them if they are not going to treat you with respect you are simply not going to do it and watch the show fall apart. It is their fault.
I am low-key glad that, at least at my school growing up our tech crew was included in the cast parties and all that stuff (even though I was an actor, I think it would’ve been wrong to leave them out because the show would not have been possible without them).

@@smathened So far, we have gotten shipped so much, and we were rumored to be dating. He gets so mad at that and hes such a good friend and i dont want to lose that 😭😭 The chemistry on stage i think is good, but he tries to avoid me offstage since he doesnt like getting shipped
It’s a musical number about the two leading love interests in a completely different play that has no singing in it at all and they’re meant to be acting but they’re not but they have to pretend that they’re acting.

So i fell in love with this song like 2 months ago and even though it was catchy, i never really related. I always thought i just didnt form crushes because i never HAD and honestly i never liked the idea of a crush. BUT THEN i got into a show and started to like this guy. Our characters arent love interests in the show (they actually kinda hate each other) but like i have now been listening to this song OVER AND OVER because it means so much more now. Yeah, before it was a good song, but actually relating to it makes it so much better!

this whole song is such a great example of pop music with a musical theater style and the "reprise" of the chorus during the bows scene really brought flashbacks
This is how my showmance went. They were Kyle, I was Paulette, and we went to see a movie with friends after strike ended. The friends turned out to both be busy and it was just us. We talked for hours, sharing an armrest but too nervous to actually touch. Their mom took us to my place, they walked me to my door in the rain. I hugged them and before leaving, they grabbed my hand, looked me in the eyes, and said softly and sweetly, “this was amazing. I’d… really like to do this again sometime.” We texted and called until late that night and confessed to each other over the phone. It’s been 11 months and 6 days since then and I’m so lucky to have found such an amazing, kind, and caring person

as a former prop master, 0:48 seeing them about to pick up a prop WITHOUT THE PROP MASTER'S PERMISSION, enraged me but it's also so accurate too- I was prop master for two shows and loved it because I got to slap the actors hands away if they tried. Apparently I was very good at it so I got the prop master crew role quite a bit but I preferred backstage over onstage anyways.
