I think Magellan's fruit would also be a good one (or bad one) for Chopper, and definitely Toki's time fruit on Robin, like, imagine being an archeologist, whose dream is to know the past history and only being able to jump into the future, leaving the past even more behind each time
I feel like Chopper would be able to use the toxins from Magellan's fruit to heal people, sorta like vaccines, or using toxins to numb wounds or target infections. One Piece powers are generally pretty flexible in their application depending on the user.
Soul Soul fruit would be awful for Luffy he wouldn’t use soul pocus or take peoples lifespans under any circumstance, he would only use the ability to spend his own life span for a temp buff and he would just use that a hand full of times and then die lol
Nah Luffy would have no problems using his own lifespan to create really powerful homies. And with his imagination, he would create a lot of really interesting homies that enhance his physical capabilities.
For Usopp both Barier and the Lamp fruits don't work, but not because of fighting style. They don't work because they prevent him from becoming the brave warrior of the sea. One removes the danger and the other outsources the fight.
I got a good one for Sanji. Viola's devil fruit. It would actually destroy him. He would either die of a nose bleed or he would turn into a degenerate mess spying on and stalking women all day long.

Luffy: Either the Yami (Darkness) fruit or the Peto (Pet) fruit. Anything that deals with taking away Freedom would be antithetical to Luffy's entire existence. Zoro: Warp fruit or the Yomi fruit. Either way, if he uses the fruit, he'll wind up getting lost, teleporting somewhere far away or just not being able to find his body again as a spirit lol. As a bonus, there's the Toki Toki... I can't even imagine how screwed Zoro is if he gets lost in time lol. Sanji: Shibo (Wring) or Wash fruits. I feel like Sanji wouldn't deprive a living creature of their nutrients, and I doubt he'll be willing to use his hands to wash people he doesn't like lol. Jinbei: Sand fruit or Shadow Fruit. I don't think either of these will add to his abilities and will only serve to counteract his preexisting skills. Brook: either Rust or Munch fruits. I'm not sure if Brook can actually eat things in the traditional way.. So perhaps the Munch fruit would not work at all. Franky: either the Hie (Ice) or Goro ( fruits. I feel they'd gunk up his hardware or short circuit them. Robin: the Mato Mato no mi. I doubt she'll be able to do anything with the fruit lol, she's not a sniper or a marksman. Chopper: Dooku Doku. If there was a Tanuki mythical Zoan, I'd undoubtedly choose that one for memes Nami: a funny one is the diamond fruit lol. She's obsessed with money and treasure. Only thing is that she'll be a diamond, but she'll never be able to spend it on anything lol. Usopp: either Toy fruit or King's Pteranodon fruit. One requires the use of touching people, and the other makes it so that you can't hold a weapon in hybrid or full beast form.
Worst fruit for Sanji is clearly Wapol's Baku Baku no Mi because it leaves you feeling constant hunger no matter how much you eat. With his history of almost starving, that would be pretty miserable for Sanji and constantly triggering PTSD.
paw paw fruit would benefit Zoro still. Maybe he puts away his sword or holds with his thumb and uses the rest of his hand to teleport anywhere. It wouldn't be easy to use especially with his sense of direction, but it does give him more options and makes him totally unpredictable%
I think for Nami you would have to go to Warpols Baku Baku No Mi - she would never be able to bring herself to eat just anything. Nami would also be terrible with the Horo Horo No Mi because she would perpetually scare herself.
Usopp would LOVE to have the Bari Bari no mi maybe more than any other devil fruit, but it would be THE WORST for actually helping him grow or improve or gain confidence, as well as stripping him of his ability to snipe which is his calling. Great choice!

a fruit I think Sanji would absolutely despise is easily the non-canon fruit eaten by All-Hunt Grount in that one filler arc, which is a Zoan fruit that permanently transforms ONLY your left arm into a massive, semi-uncontrollable Gorilla arm with tremendous power. If Sanji had it, not only would he not be able to cook using one of his arms, he also wouldn't be able to fight with it because of his Black Leg style so it's just a lose-lose fruit for him.
Luffy - warp-warp. You take away the journey from the destination, he could only ever use this short range. Zoro - glare-glare. Just because you can see a place far away doesn't mean you can get there with his sense of direction Sanji - straw-straw. Sanji is too kind and chivalrous to make use of a fruit that harms allies, bystanders, or hostages. Exception being, like, Cesar. Jinbei - human-human. This is just a really weird fruit for a fishman to eat. Plus it's really discomforting for a fishman hero to also be a human. Nami - Strong-strong. Not very effective at all in her hands due to her fighting style and limited pre existing bulk. Usopp - bubble-bubble. Usopp is very hard for me because a resourceful character like him can make a lot work, even the ones in the video feel like they work. The bubbles are inherently close range though, so it suffers a lot in his hands. Franky - arms-arms, it's pretty redundant for Franky to turn into weapons when he already integrated them into his body. Honorable mention to mochi-mochi because that runs pretty counter to his hard iron body and similarity to marshmallows, which he dislikes for being soft. Chopper - venom-venom. Setting aside the need for human human chopper as a doctor would simply not be but be willing to use this power in combat. I hesitate because it may have medical applications. Robin - bomb-bomb. Collateral damage isn't something that really fits her and there may be lingering explosion trauma considering ohara. Brook - age-age. At his age there's not much in the way of potential futures and I'm not sure how he'd feel using it on others.

Any Devil Fruit that Jinbei eats would hinder him because his main fighting style RELIES ON WATER. Give Chopper any other Fruit and he won't be able to use it properly because he'd just be a regular deer.
okay guys I think you took the part about sanji not using his hands a bit too literal. we have seen him standing on his hands for attacks all the time and he has used cooking knifes in his fight against wanze. he just doesn't want to damage his hands which is why he doesn't throw punches. he probably would clap his hands or rub his belly if he has to in oder to use his powers. but I agree the fruits still wouldn't fit him because of the other reasons you mentioned :D edit: I think dice dice usopp could have a sick attack where he shoots himself with a big slingshot and basically does arlongs shark on darts. his nose would be op with that fruit

Here’s a weird idea about the Sick Sick Fruit (since it was brought up, and I imagined Kureha doing the stuff they ascribed to “Evil Chopper”): from what we’ve seen, it seems like the user of the fruit chooses a target to infect with a disease (Q infected Law IN HIS SUBMARINE UNDERWATER FROM A DISTANCE) then the disease spreads out from patient 0 to everyone around them. At least in the anime, when Law uses his Haki to revert the effects, Q mentions “anti-bodies” that spread out from his body and to the others, killing off the disease. So essentially, it is possible for someone’s natural immune system (maybe with a Haki boost) to develop, well, an immunity to a particular disease after being afflicted with it by the Sick Sick Fruit, kind of like a really rough shot version of a vaccine (intentionally exposing yourself to a disease in order to build up an immunity to it). So imagine Kureha rocks up to a town on Drum Island, uses this fruit to infect the town with an illness, gets the townspeople to pay her to cure them, and then uses Haki (assuming she can) to supercharge the immune system of one villager and their anti-bodies spread out and kill off the disease. Super unethical, of course, but in a weird way, she’s bolstering the health of the town by making them immune to certain diseases over time.
Hear me out here. Jimbe having Ovens fruit would be goated. The ability to launch boiling water at his enemies would jump his attack power up. Especially considering him having superheated hands makes any grappling he does much more dangerous.
Usopp + Urouge's fruit could honestly work. If you look at all his fights, he's always on the brink of death at the end of them. His skull's been cracked like twice.

Luffy had many years of practice before he went on an adventure. So whatever the fruit he steals from shanks you know he is dedicating his life to master it. The worst fruit for Luffy is mr1 fruit it has low creativity. How much stronger that Mr1 could he be ? He speed runs early parts but after thriller bark he is kinda left behind. Luffy with any bird zoan type he is a menace. Drilling flying maneuvers, maybe he has a big pouch with ninja stars, bombs. Bird Luffy is a problem.

I think you guys have forgotten about how popular Zoro is with the women who read One Piece. He wouldn't have to do a cute pose or something to use the Love Love fruit. He'd flex at 'em and get like everybody. It's probably not a fruit he'd like to have, but Zoro is definitely the fanservice character for the female fanbase.

One thing the note, the tarot cards the Hawkins uses are not part of his devil fruit, its just something that he does like brook and his music stuff on fishman island as fancy as those abilities are magic and hypnosis are still a small part of the powers we have in One Piece

As far as jimbe, he couldn't use any fruit cuz now he cant be in water anymore. Im assuming oven was producing so much heat that the water wasn't technically touching him, but for jimbe he couldn't swim anymore, couldnt use any of his water based attacks, any fruit would go against his fishman nature.
I feel like you guys are focusing too much on how the original users use their fruits. A lot of the Strawhats would incorporate their styles into the fruits like Robin using the memory fruit to better erase her own presence when fleeing from organization to organization, as well as perserving all of Ohara's memories perfectly Each fruit is molded by the user's creativity, like the Giraffe fruit user in the spin-off vs how Kaku used it or the Barrier fruit being used offensively by Barto compared to how the old kurozumi man used it (briefly)
Honestly, it would have to be the most useless fruit for Luffy to not be able to use, he's pretty damn good at fighting and his imagination would allow the fruit to acheive its full potential
Chopper with the Ope Ope no mi sounds amazing but nah. With most devil fruits even if you’re a deer you can still maybe use them to a limited extent. The ope ope no mi he may not even be able to create a room, cause he’s literally just a reindeer.

The thing with Luffy is he gets the devil fruit very young. And is shown to have extremely high creativity. Luffy is not a brawler Luffy became a brawler because of his devil fruit. So the worst fruit for Luffy is a fruit that is very easy to master fruits with a short celling.

Ope for Luffy makes sense. Cause people would probably say since Luffy can make the rubber fruit good and create gears, he could use it better than Law. There's one problem, the rubber fruit is insanely simple, low skill floor, high skill ceiling. The ope has a high skill floor and even higher skill ceiling. He also isnt smart enough to be a doctor or skilled to use a sword, which is an integral part cause of amputate, and K-room if he somehow awakens it. Plus throwing boulders at enemies isnt gonna work against anyone with armament or even a logia.
I'd like to point out a couple things: Chopper and Brook, as characters, could not survive with any fruit other than the ones they obtained, with a few exceptions. Brook's story plays out differently with the phoenix fruit and a couple others in that he can save his crew from the poison that kills them, and then maybe his crew makes it back to see Laboon, or they die another way and Brooke dies with them instead of resurrecting and becoming one of the straw hats. Chopper, as a character, cannot exist without a variation of the hito-hito no mi. If he cannot somehow become human, he does not gain the intelligence to become a doctor. Ironically, this also means the fruit he got was the bare minimum fruit he could possibly have had to be who he is, making it his worst by default. As proof, we do see with the fox on Wano that any variation of the hito-hito no mi allows for human transformation. Theoretically, the model Nika could do the same thing. In another timeline, Chopper could've been the reincarnation of Joyboy. By the same token, I feel like the worst fruit for Nami would be Chopper's fruit - it would do basically nothing for her. Oda has never outright stated what the hito-hito no mi would do to a human who ate it, but I have doubts that it would do anything other than take away the ability to swim. That said, fruits that are gross might just be fruits she would hate the most. Jimbei would be just fine with Ace's fruit, as it would allow him to fight. I propose an alternative thought process, one brought about by Vander Decken and his mato-mato no mi. Fishmen cannot swim if they eat a devil fruit, so a fruit Jimbei eats needs to simultaneously remove his ability to swim while not giving him an alternative to bolster his abilities on the sea. To that end, I propose his worst fruits would actually be the Hito Hito no mi, which would basically just give him human form on top of the human intelligence he already has while removing his ability to swim. Alternatively, Crocodile's fruit would actively be a detriment to him, because his primary fighting style involves throwing water, and the sand fruit actively hates getting wet.
I think Robin and dragon hooked up. They call her the light of the revolution. She knew dragon when Garp told luffy about him and in the anime it felt like they had had experiences together prior to that. Add to that timeskip time with koala and the revolutionaries. She boned her captains dad
Worst fruit for Jinbei: Any of them cause he's a fishman. A fishman with a Devil Fruit can't swim. I did think of a positive upside to Chopper with the Sick-Sick Fruit though. He would have the ability to afflict diseases, but in turn, could research said diseases and synthesize a cure for each. Chopper would be able to research every disease, be able to afflict it, and then cure it, therefore achieving his dream of being able to cure any disease.
If it wasn’t for my loyalist mentality I’d say BDA law is my fav one piece content creator. But Tekking101 has a special place in my heart being the first one I got into after catching up on the manga 5 years ago.
I think worse for Nami would be the Island Island fruit. A fruit that forces you to stick to one place, have people walk all over you and we don't know if you can easily change islands.
Laws fruit for luffy is wild. Being a doctor helps him for specific stuff but anyone could still switch places in a room and cut stuff they just wouldnt be able to do his advanced teq. Nowhere near as bad as something like the jacket fruir
My list is: Luffy - Horo Horo no Mi (Luffy wants people to be happy, not depressed) Zoro - Bara Bara no Mi (Zoro's pride would be a major factor because a swordsman that can never be cut is a cheat code) Sanji - Nikyu Nikyu no Mi (Sanji has a policy against using his hands in battle) Nami - Baku Baku no Mi (eating like that and then transforming or spitting out objects like she's giving birth would be a massive turn off mentally and emotionally) Robin - Toki Toki no Mi (it only allows you to go forward into the future, not the past, which is worthless to someone who studies history) Usopp - Woshu Woshu no Mi (goes against his fighting style and doesn't benefit his sniping in the slightest) Chopper - Fuku Fuku no Mi (if it actually requires you to make hand signs to activate like Kinemon does, having hooves would be a detriment) Brook - Bomu Bomu no Mi (firstly, it goes against his combat style, but being all bones this would use saliva, sweat, or snot to attack enemies) Franky - Sube Sube no Mi (being smooth skinned wouldn't help him with any of his building stuff, and other than sliding to places it wouldn't benefit his fighting style) Jinbei - Gomu Gomu no Mi (this fruit requires bottomless imagination, which he doesn't possess, mostly because he was a soldier who followed orders in both the army and on the Sun pirates--definitely wouldn't be able to awaken it, and if he found out the truth about his fruit, he'd over-complicate trying to awaken it)
Luffy - Nagi Nagi no mi (Calm) - It's just completely against his nature and he'd never use it. Remembering that this is a character with no internal monologue. Zoro - Baku Baku no mi (Munch) - Imagine he's going for the finishing three sword style attack against Mihawk and then he grits his teeth so much that he accidentally eats Wado Ichimonji. He'd probably end it all. Nami - Netsu Netsu no mi (Heat) - The crew would piss her off so much that she'd overheat and set the ship on fire. Usopp - Kame Kame no mi (Turtle) - Just doesn't really complement his best attributes. He's fast and operates best from a distance. This fruit would reduce his mobility greatly. Sanji - Doku Doku no mi (Venom) - Truly his worst nightmare. He'd enjoy the taste of poison, although he would never want to feed anyone poison. We saw him refuse to poison his cake so Big Mom would die, so there's literally no one he would feed poison to on purpose. He'd never forgive himself if he does by accident. Women would be even more repulsed by him when he starts sweating poison. He can't make contact with women for fear of poisoning them. Chopper - Shiku Shiku no mi (Sick) - Fairly self-explanatory. He'd despise having the power to make people sick, he'd never use. And by trading his human fruit, he can't talk to humans. Robin - Gocha Gocha no mi (Pile) - Basically a form of docking, which she would rather die than perform. You just know Usopp, Chopper, Luffy, and Franky would try to make it a super extravagant sequence every time she uses that power. Franky - Gabu Gabu no mi (Garb) - The pervert wants fewer clothes on, not more. Brook - Horu Horu no mi (Horm) - He has no cardiovascular system to inject hormones into. it would be obsolete on himself. Wouldn't use it very creatively on others. Jimbe - Suna Suna no mi (sand) - basically any devil fruit is an issue for him because his fighting style is perfectly suited for sea combat, but a DF makes that impossible. However the Sand fruit is even worse because it now makes water his natural weakness.
I think Rally fruit could be good for Zoro since he and other Conquerors already rally people behind them, Chopper also having poison, disease fruits would help him since he could use that to test antidotes for them and makes his dream a reality faster.
My theory for Urogue is that his fruit is the Hito Hito No Mi, Model: Elbaf The more conflict he goes through, the stronger he becomes. Sounds apt for the god of war

For me the worst fruit for Jinbe would be Chopper's. Cause like, a fruit in itself would already be a giant nerf for him since he wouldn't be able to swim anymore, and that's the fruit that straight up wouldn't give him any kind of advantage whatsoever. He'd still be regular Jinbe, possibly weaker cause he'd lose fishman characteristics if he transformed, and couldn't get into the sea anymore

Well we did see the love barrier crash, which means the user can move the barriers and we see him change the for whiles it's active Vs Cavendish. He could theoretically coat the bullets with the barrier making them kinda unstoppable yk since it can't break.
For Franky, destroying non-living objects wouldn’t be the worst option. Even though he’s a builder, when he was part of the Franky family, he used to dismantle ships. It would be great for him then.

For Usopp both Barier and the Lamp fruits don't work, but not because of fighting style. They don't work because they prevent him from becoming the brave warrior of the sea. One removes the danger and the other outsources the fight.

Luffy: Either the Yami (Darkness) fruit or the Peto (Pet) fruit. Anything that deals with taking away Freedom would be antithetical to Luffy's entire existence.
Zoro: Warp fruit or the Yomi fruit. Either way, if he uses the fruit, he'll wind up getting lost, teleporting somewhere far away or just not being able to find his body again as a spirit lol. As a bonus, there's the Toki Toki... I can't even imagine how screwed Zoro is if he gets lost in time lol.
Sanji: Shibo (Wring) or Wash fruits. I feel like Sanji wouldn't deprive a living creature of their nutrients, and I doubt he'll be willing to use his hands to wash people he doesn't like lol.
Jinbei: Sand fruit or Shadow Fruit. I don't think either of these will add to his abilities and will only serve to counteract his preexisting skills.
Brook: either Rust or Munch fruits. I'm not sure if Brook can actually eat things in the traditional way.. So perhaps the Munch fruit would not work at all.
Franky: either the Hie (Ice) or Goro ( fruits. I feel they'd gunk up his hardware or short circuit them.

Worst fruit for Sanji is clearly Wapol's Baku Baku no Mi because it leaves you feeling constant hunger no matter how much you eat. With his history of almost starving, that would be pretty miserable for Sanji and constantly triggering PTSD.
paw paw fruit would benefit Zoro still. Maybe he puts away his sword or holds with his thumb and uses the rest of his hand to teleport anywhere. It wouldn't be easy to use especially with his sense of direction, but it does give him more options and makes him totally unpredictable%

I think for Nami you would have to go to Warpols Baku Baku No Mi - she would never be able to bring herself to eat just anything. Nami would also be terrible with the Horo Horo No Mi because she would perpetually scare herself.
Usopp would LOVE to have the Bari Bari no mi maybe more than any other devil fruit, but it would be THE WORST for actually helping him grow or improve or gain confidence, as well as stripping him of his ability to snipe which is his calling. Great choice!

a fruit I think Sanji would absolutely despise is easily the non-canon fruit eaten by All-Hunt Grount in that one filler arc, which is a Zoan fruit that permanently transforms ONLY your left arm into a massive, semi-uncontrollable Gorilla arm with tremendous power. If Sanji had it, not only would he not be able to cook using one of his arms, he also wouldn't be able to fight with it because of his Black Leg style so it's just a lose-lose fruit for him.
Luffy - warp-warp. You take away the journey from the destination, he could only ever use this short range.
Zoro - glare-glare. Just because you can see a place far away doesn't mean you can get there with his sense of direction
Sanji - straw-straw. Sanji is too kind and chivalrous to make use of a fruit that harms allies, bystanders, or hostages. Exception being, like, Cesar.
Jinbei - human-human. This is just a really weird fruit for a fishman to eat. Plus it's really discomforting for a fishman hero to also be a human.
Nami - Strong-strong. Not very effective at all in her hands due to her fighting style and limited pre existing bulk.
Usopp - bubble-bubble. Usopp is very hard for me because a resourceful character like him can make a lot work, even the ones in the video feel like they work. The bubbles are inherently close range though, so it suffers a lot in his hands.
Franky - arms-arms, it's pretty redundant for Franky to turn into weapons when he already integrated them into his body. Honorable mention to mochi-mochi because that runs pretty counter to his hard iron body and similarity to marshmallows, which he dislikes for being soft.
Chopper - venom-venom. Setting aside the need for human human chopper as a doctor would simply not be but be willing to use this power in combat. I hesitate because it may have medical applications.
Robin - bomb-bomb. Collateral damage isn't something that really fits her and there may be lingering explosion trauma considering ohara.
Brook - age-age. At his age there's not much in the way of potential futures and I'm not sure how he'd feel using it on others.

okay guys I think you took the part about sanji not using his hands a bit too literal. we have seen him standing on his hands for attacks all the time and he has used cooking knifes in his fight against wanze. he just doesn't want to damage his hands which is why he doesn't throw punches. he probably would clap his hands or rub his belly if he has to in oder to use his powers. but I agree the fruits still wouldn't fit him because of the other reasons you mentioned :D

Here’s a weird idea about the Sick Sick Fruit (since it was brought up, and I imagined Kureha doing the stuff they ascribed to “Evil Chopper”): from what we’ve seen, it seems like the user of the fruit chooses a target to infect with a disease (Q infected Law IN HIS SUBMARINE UNDERWATER FROM A DISTANCE) then the disease spreads out from patient 0 to everyone around them. At least in the anime, when Law uses his Haki to revert the effects, Q mentions “anti-bodies” that spread out from his body and to the others, killing off the disease. So essentially, it is possible for someone’s natural immune system (maybe with a Haki boost) to develop, well, an immunity to a particular disease after being afflicted with it by the Sick Sick Fruit, kind of like a really rough shot version of a vaccine (intentionally exposing yourself to a disease in order to build up an immunity to it). So imagine Kureha rocks up to a town on Drum Island, uses this fruit to infect the town with an illness, gets the townspeople to pay her to cure them, and then uses Haki (assuming she can) to supercharge the immune system of one villager and their anti-bodies spread out and kill off the disease. Super unethical, of course, but in a weird way, she’s bolstering the health of the town by making them immune to certain diseases over time.

Luffy had many years of practice before he went on an adventure. So whatever the fruit he steals from shanks you know he is dedicating his life to master it. The worst fruit for Luffy is mr1 fruit it has low creativity. How much stronger that Mr1 could he be ? He speed runs early parts but after thriller bark he is kinda left behind.

I think you guys have forgotten about how popular Zoro is with the women who read One Piece. He wouldn't have to do a cute pose or something to use the Love Love fruit. He'd flex at 'em and get like everybody. It's probably not a fruit he'd like to have, but Zoro is definitely the fanservice character for the female fanbase.

One thing the note, the tarot cards the Hawkins uses are not part of his devil fruit, its just something that he does like brook and his music stuff on fishman island as fancy as those abilities are magic and hypnosis are still a small part of the powers we have in One Piece

As far as jimbe, he couldn't use any fruit cuz now he cant be in water anymore. Im assuming oven was producing so much heat that the water wasn't technically touching him, but for jimbe he couldn't swim anymore, couldnt use any of his water based attacks, any fruit would go against his fishman nature.
I feel like you guys are focusing too much on how the original users use their fruits. A lot of the Strawhats would incorporate their styles into the fruits like Robin using the memory fruit to better erase her own presence when fleeing from organization to organization, as well as perserving all of Ohara's memories perfectly
Each fruit is molded by the user's creativity, like the Giraffe fruit user in the spin-off vs how Kaku used it or the Barrier fruit being used offensively by Barto compared to how the old kurozumi man used it (briefly)

Ope for Luffy makes sense. Cause people would probably say since Luffy can make the rubber fruit good and create gears, he could use it better than Law. There's one problem, the rubber fruit is insanely simple, low skill floor, high skill ceiling. The ope has a high skill floor and even higher skill ceiling. He also isnt smart enough to be a doctor or skilled to use a sword, which is an integral part cause of amputate, and K-room if he somehow awakens it. Plus throwing boulders at enemies isnt gonna work against anyone with armament or even a logia.

I'd like to point out a couple things:
Chopper and Brook, as characters, could not survive with any fruit other than the ones they obtained, with a few exceptions.
Brook's story plays out differently with the phoenix fruit and a couple others in that he can save his crew from the poison that kills them, and then maybe his crew makes it back to see Laboon, or they die another way and Brooke dies with them instead of resurrecting and becoming one of the straw hats.
Chopper, as a character, cannot exist without a variation of the hito-hito no mi. If he cannot somehow become human, he does not gain the intelligence to become a doctor. Ironically, this also means the fruit he got was the bare minimum fruit he could possibly have had to be who he is, making it his worst by default. As proof, we do see with the fox on Wano that any variation of the hito-hito no mi allows for human transformation. Theoretically, the model Nika could do the same thing. In another timeline, Chopper could've been the reincarnation of Joyboy.
By the same token, I feel like the worst fruit for Nami would be Chopper's fruit - it would do basically nothing for her. Oda has never outright stated what the hito-hito no mi would do to a human who ate it, but I have doubts that it would do anything other than take away the ability to swim. That said, fruits that are gross might just be fruits she would hate the most.
Jimbei would be just fine with Ace's fruit, as it would allow him to fight. I propose an alternative thought process, one brought about by Vander Decken and his mato-mato no mi. Fishmen cannot swim if they eat a devil fruit, so a fruit Jimbei eats needs to simultaneously remove his ability to swim while not giving him an alternative to bolster his abilities on the sea. To that end, I propose his worst fruits would actually be the Hito Hito no mi, which would basically just give him human form on top of the human intelligence he already has while removing his ability to swim. Alternatively, Crocodile's fruit would actively be a detriment to him, because his primary fighting style involves throwing water, and the sand fruit actively hates getting wet.
I think Robin and dragon hooked up. They call her the light of the revolution. She knew dragon when Garp told luffy about him and in the anime it felt like they had had experiences together prior to that. Add to that timeskip time with koala and the revolutionaries. She boned her captains dad

I did think of a positive upside to Chopper with the Sick-Sick Fruit though. He would have the ability to afflict diseases, but in turn, could research said diseases and synthesize a cure for each. Chopper would be able to research every disease, be able to afflict it, and then cure it, therefore achieving his dream of being able to cure any disease.
If it wasn’t for my loyalist mentality I’d say BDA law is my fav one piece content creator. But Tekking101 has a special place in my heart being the first one I got into after catching up on the manga 5 years ago.
I think worse for Nami would be the Island Island fruit. A fruit that forces you to stick to one place, have people walk all over you and we don't know if you can easily change islands.
Laws fruit for luffy is wild. Being a doctor helps him for specific stuff but anyone could still switch places in a room and cut stuff they just wouldnt be able to do his advanced teq. Nowhere near as bad as something like the jacket fruir

Luffy - Horo Horo no Mi (Luffy wants people to be happy, not depressed)
Zoro - Bara Bara no Mi (Zoro's pride would be a major factor because a swordsman that can never be cut is a cheat code)
Sanji - Nikyu Nikyu no Mi (Sanji has a policy against using his hands in battle)
Nami - Baku Baku no Mi (eating like that and then transforming or spitting out objects like she's giving birth would be a massive turn off mentally and emotionally)
Robin - Toki Toki no Mi (it only allows you to go forward into the future, not the past, which is worthless to someone who studies history)
Usopp - Woshu Woshu no Mi (goes against his fighting style and doesn't benefit his sniping in the slightest)
Chopper - Fuku Fuku no Mi (if it actually requires you to make hand signs to activate like Kinemon does, having hooves would be a detriment)
Brook - Bomu Bomu no Mi (firstly, it goes against his combat style, but being all bones this would use saliva, sweat, or snot to attack enemies)
Franky - Sube Sube no Mi (being smooth skinned wouldn't help him with any of his building stuff, and other than sliding to places it wouldn't benefit his fighting style)
Jinbei - Gomu Gomu no Mi (this fruit requires bottomless imagination, which he doesn't possess, mostly because he was a soldier who followed orders in both the army and on the Sun pirates--definitely wouldn't be able to awaken it, and if he found out the truth about his fruit, he'd over-complicate trying to awaken it)
Luffy - Nagi Nagi no mi (Calm) - It's just completely against his nature and he'd never use it. Remembering that this is a character with no internal monologue.
Zoro - Baku Baku no mi (Munch) - Imagine he's going for the finishing three sword style attack against Mihawk and then he grits his teeth so much that he accidentally eats Wado Ichimonji. He'd probably end it all.
Nami - Netsu Netsu no mi (Heat) - The crew would piss her off so much that she'd overheat and set the ship on fire.
Usopp - Kame Kame no mi (Turtle) - Just doesn't really complement his best attributes. He's fast and operates best from a distance. This fruit would reduce his mobility greatly.
Sanji - Doku Doku no mi (Venom) - Truly his worst nightmare. He'd enjoy the taste of poison, although he would never want to feed anyone poison. We saw him refuse to poison his cake so Big Mom would die, so there's literally no one he would feed poison to on purpose. He'd never forgive himself if he does by accident. Women would be even more repulsed by him when he starts sweating poison. He can't make contact with women for fear of poisoning them.
Chopper - Shiku Shiku no mi (Sick) - Fairly self-explanatory. He'd despise having the power to make people sick, he'd never use. And by trading his human fruit, he can't talk to humans.
Robin - Gocha Gocha no mi (Pile) - Basically a form of docking, which she would rather die than perform. You just know Usopp, Chopper, Luffy, and Franky would try to make it a super extravagant sequence every time she uses that power.

Jimbe - Suna Suna no mi (sand) - basically any devil fruit is an issue for him because his fighting style is perfectly suited for sea combat, but a DF makes that impossible. However the Sand fruit is even worse because it now makes water his natural weakness.

I think Rally fruit could be good for Zoro since he and other Conquerors already rally people behind them, Chopper also having poison, disease fruits would help him since he could use that to test antidotes for them and makes his dream a reality faster.

For me the worst fruit for Jinbe would be Chopper's. Cause like, a fruit in itself would already be a giant nerf for him since he wouldn't be able to swim anymore, and that's the fruit that straight up wouldn't give him any kind of advantage whatsoever. He'd still be regular Jinbe, possibly weaker cause he'd lose fishman characteristics if he transformed, and couldn't get into the sea anymore

crazy but i could see the barrier fruit being useful for usopp if he can ricochet his shots off of the barriers or shoot a shot and then close off the person in with the explosion in a barrier he is a sniper but his ammo is so unique it gives him alot of options

Well we did see the love barrier crash, which means the user can move the barriers and we see him change the for whiles it's active Vs Cavendish. He could theoretically coat the bullets with the barrier making them kinda unstoppable yk since it can't break.
For Franky, destroying non-living objects wouldn’t be the worst option. Even though he’s a builder, when he was part of the Franky family, he used to dismantle ships. It would be great for him then.

Wait just a comment, they said they’ve never seen law cut someone without a blade. We have seen him use scalpel with his bare hands THROUGH a rock, to take out smokers heart on punk hazard. I agree the sword definitely makes the “cutting” ability have more power & range but it’s implied he can cut without a sword

Zoro - Warp fruit. Zoro would get lost
Sanji - Paw Paw Fruit. Sanji would be forced to use his hands. And he’d have to cook with gloves
Jinbei - Sand Sand. Complete antithesis of a fish man
Chopper - Any carnivorous Zoan.
Nami - Diamond fruit. She can’t run away like she wants to, and she’s more valuable than almost any treasure… and can’t cash in the diamond 😂
