@@ruskah0307 PPZ - TTZ - SSZ uses almost same yellow color ... - QQZ - MMZ uses almost same green color CCZ- WWZ uses pink and purple, maybe WWZ was changed in development, and pink color fits to crazy toybox name tbh Yellow - Green - Pink and cycle it
I've played all those SCDU builds for so long and seeing how this became in the end is just charming, everything fits well together, everything makes sense, everything is just perfect. (The old bg just couldn't go to waste like this, I had to use it lmao) In a certain way, this project also helped forging our friendship, this is magical (if that makes sense) And now, here we are with what seems to be, the best R2 period.

A little thing I noticed about the aqueduct concept art is that you can see the background of the level, with a blue sky, grey mountains, some green at the base of the mountains, and a large brown area, looking more arid. Maybe the present would have the background looking kind of like a desert, but the level itself would be a green area with trees due to the aqueducts, while the past would be a lot greener, with the forest expanding through the background, the bad future is a wasteland with technology, and the good future has the forest back and also some positive technology.
My theory is that they threw that background out because it wasn't possible to implement rainbow waterfalls on it And that background from concept art moved to QQZ Past
@@makasinaaaa that doesn’t explain the dirt brown. I think that the Little Planet concept art would have come first, and then the aqueducts. We won’t know for sure unless the background ever gets released.
@@Cretaceous158 I think the brown ground was just a placeholder to later decide on the color of the ground You don't need to take every detail from the concepts seriously, the same SSZ doesn't look like what was on the concept at all (another concept art, not the one of the little planet)
@@Cretaceous158I really think the dirt brown and aqueducts are for the foreground instead of bg, counting all the limitations of the hardware, a bg that is desert and forest would be hard to do as well as the themings clashing with each other, again it's my opinion
Love the look of this mod. Definitely could use improvement in level layout and object usage (although, I'm not saying you have to make it 100% sonic team quality, I couldn't), but this is super impressive for a solo modder doing something in their free time.
Thank you, I agree about the level design and the behavior of some objects, after this demo I understood what things can be improved (although I think I will have to redo most of everything) I strive for the same quality as the original levels, but I still have to understand some things (after all, the SCD level design is quite complex to build) The next demo will surprise you even more ;)
