I always wished we got a boss fight against the bros as bowser, it would have been really interesting I think, or maybe some phase in the final boss where the dark star takes the form of bowser's biggest foes.
I think you do actually fight Bowser as the Bros in the normal world. If I recall, it's at one point in the story where the Bros have to find the fortune teller, and Bowser shows up. And you get to fight him. And the best thing, his Boss has all the moves and special moves you learned while playing him up to that point in the story.

Happy 20th anniversary to this beautiful series! I feel like Good Feel (the team behind Kirby's Epic Yarn, Wario Land Shake It, & Yoshi's Wooly World) could be the new developers for Mario & Luigi, as they have worked on the series in the past with Dream Team's Giant Battles.
I love this arrangement! Between the riffs of the bass and the guitar, this really captures the mood when it comes to having a scuffle with the Koopa King himself!
I love how he used the instrument that you'd hear in like NSMB (any game) World 8. Lava world, volcano.. Grumble volcano from mario kart.. Lava world instrument. You get what I'm saying? Right? Anyone else hear that?

Me looking at my Nintendo music playlist which already has the covers of Tough Guy Alert! and Mario and Luigi’s normal battle theme from BIS by the lovely and talented Noble Demon: Finally. I have them all.
To go with my original comment with the Bowser Inside Story normal battle (remix) video. I’ll talk about the random thought of Bowser doing his moves and minions attacks onto Pokémon or Commanding them and then (or any Pokémon villain but I’ll be using gen 5 specifically Cyrus fighting Bowser minions using his Pokémon or using technology to do some the third legendary of the Tao trio Kyrems moves (along side a few random Bowser minions helping him.)
That’s not really the reason it went under. It was just the last attempt at fixing the sinking ship after the failure that was Paper Jam and the Superstar Saga remake
