I always loved the moments preceding to these fights. Like, this is what Bowser does when his powers are used *competantly*. The big, slow, showy music is just the cream on top of the iced cake of deliciousness. And of course, Fawful. I really didnt think his reappearance would work this game. I am so glad I was wrong.
Imagine if the empire state building transformed into a big ass robot and got up, pulled out a giant mechanical sword, and went to go beat up Godzilla That's what these fights were And goddamn were they AMAZING
I’ll never forget how I first reacted when Bowser first turned giant in this game. I was completely unaware such battles were in the game so my mind was utterly blown. While I don’t think the remake holds a candle to the original, I was still delighted they did the giant battles justice.
Epic. I still remember the sped up version as Bowser's theme in Dream Team. I always loved that reference, even better than "I still hate the sound of your voice!"
