I captured four Fire Emblem Experts in an FE Escape Room.

I'd love to hear your feedback on how it went! One thing I will be adding in the next one is checkmarks. That way whenever you pass a checkmark and you reset, you won't have to retread your steps all the time!
Be honest. This is just a convenient excuse to show off the fe10 modding cabilities. And it worked, this looks super cool. I cant wait for daybreak to be finished
It is convenient yes, but just doing Daybreak wears on me, so to have some variance this was a super nice project to do. =]
And it also brings me joy to be able to put something tangible into the player's hands!

Daybreak is a Mod I am making for Radiant Dawn, it will feature full supports, new weapons and mechanics etc. You can find more info in a few playlists on the channel =]

I love the concept of Anna running an escape room. Knowing how much some places charge to play these, it seems right up her alley.
I should totally have a different Anna every time haha. But it is indeed very in character for her. =]

Thanks for bringing me on to tackle a novel challenge! It was both encouraging and taunting to have the creator in my ear the whole time. There was soooooo much trial and error that (understandably) didn't fit into this video.

I am all for Fire Emblem Escape Rooms! This is the second one I've seen, and I can tell there is soo much that can be done with the concept. Especially with the rise of hacking resources lately.
Definitely! There's so much more that can be done. I am curious, where did you find the first one?
@@ViciousSal 5 Points did one a few months back. It was made in SRPG Studio and a bit more RNG-dependent, if I remember correctly. But all parties had fun nonetheless.

FE escape rooms are such an amazing concept! PoR/RD are my favorite FE games and now im so excited for daybreak (even tho I just learned about it). The modding capabilities if rd are so insane keep up the amazing work. Great video!

Oh this was a really cool concept! I don't have a ton of RD experience, so I would not have guessed that bit about the weapon breaking
Luckily you can also just unequip and tank with Aran. I thought that one might be a bit too niche as trivia so there's an alternative option. =]
Super cool puzzle, especially appreciate the dynamic damage trivia (though it woulda been even more devious if the players had to more actively use that knowledge)! 15ish years ago I started theorycrafting an RD puzzle/kaizo mod based on my knowledge of obscure RD trivia, but didn't have the modding knowhow to make it a reality. Maybe I'll try bringing this project to fruition now.
I may reuse it in the future. I could have made Hetzel just like Neph that he won't attack, but this seemed so niche that I purposely left the option to tank with unequipped Aran in. But next time people should be able to know!
And looking forward to your ideas! I had the idea as well, just a simple mod like RD HM with lunatic reverse from FE12 H4 is easy to do and probably makes the game more difficult, especially early on.
This was awesome! I feel like this has been something I've wanted to see for a while, so I'd love to see more!

also to answer cyanyohs question on who would know that weapon triangle updates mid combat *raises hand* i do because it got me killed multiple times playing dunals hack exalted (not joking multiple times i had to reset cause i forgot that after disarming a foe my second attack would do less damage leaving them alive to kill me on enemy phase)
question: you said there was different reward depending on how well they did but they only got the tactician emblem so are there actually ant other rewards?

It's actually pretty nuts how much of these mechanics I still half remember despite not playing either of these two games since the Wii days. I'm excited to see what other scenarios you can cook up!

Who would know that the weapon triangle is applied dynamically? Well... anyone who abused Disarm and watched the results would, for one.
Poor Danved, just didn't get to do anything in the puzzle.
He did have an important job however, it just was an incredibly passive job. But he did it the entire video!

Ok i watch the video and I'm confused about how did they figure out what the secret book say? Is it just a cipher that is already in Radiant Dawn, I have never played the game before.
It is a cipher, and nowhere in the game or other official material is it revealed to us, fans just figured it out on their own. The translation key is on SerenesForest I believe.

That was awesome. Will you do escape rooms for other FE games? The wii ones are the ones I missed out on.
I am not familiar with modding other games. So I am sticking to RD for now, but you can easily play the GC and Wii titles through Dolphin!

Yep, I think if I lowered Rafiel's Hp by 1 it wouldn't work anymore. But it's fun to see different routes still be viable!
