On a similar theme (playing as the enemies) Shuusuke made an FE7 romhack named FE7 Allegiance Reversal+ (or was it Blazing Sword Allegiance Reversal+). It got discontinued because it was ending up not fun to play or design due to enemy/player contrast (was still player vs. computer).
25:00 should've moved the fliers so they're still able to attack Dorcas no matter where he moves, but preferably out of attack range of Barty, while leaving Dorcas for the merc to kill next turn. Then the fliers could've mopped up Eliwood once Dorc's dead or leave him in oneshot range for a flier the turn after.
Now i want to see a normal mode playthrough with "Actual Intelligence" - controlled enemies.
I mean, Hector Hard mode is already hard as-is, smart enemies will just make it impossible (unless you redo each battle with normal AI afterwards to keep your units and actually get the loot and stats).
But an LP of this in normal mode might be doable!
Reminds me of a certain Fire Emblem skit by a certain stack of pancakes
I can almost hear the Ultra Instinct song every time Serra dodges
I can't wait for that tutorial video, this is my new favorite idea
Wow! This is the kind of PVP that actually seems to work and be fun.
1:30 That random "Ike, stay back!" about made me choke lol
why do i feel that a bald egg man made this before
The idea of Fire Emblem brigands having generally "thinking" tacticians guiding their forces already makes me nervous.
Enemy control glitch but without a mine
Nice
This is mind blowing I never thought I'd see this
