Very good! The time you have spent on the seat sliders will be so worthwhile- I find I can drive about 80 miles in mine, then need to get out for a few minutes. Might well look into doing something similar, it would make longer trips so much easier. By the way, if you are intending to MOT the Land Rover, you will need to add retaining straps to the seat backs. Not required with the original seats, but the high back deluxe seats are a modifications and must be retained. Sounds a bit much, but I got picked up on that this year by a tester who really knows Land Rovers!
Hi Phil, thanks for the comments. It was your last video that raised my awareness of the seat back retaining issue for mot. I will sort something suitable when I give it some thought
My Cat 'Blacksheep' died two months ago. All very sad, more so as I watched her being brought her into this world as the mother gave birth under my desk. The 'unversal cat distribution system' as it is refered to, ensured that a suitable replacement arrived soon after in the form of this male Ginger. The neighbours in No.4 adopted him when he first arrived on the scene, but he seams to have adopted me and skye. Thus we now see a lot of O'T' - not sure where he came from as he appeared back in April and has stuck around. Whilst pretty chilled around Skye he is very skittish with folks - clearly had some scary times while homeless. A pleasent distraction all the same. All the best Mat
@@lookcreations Truly a shame people treat animals that way. My mum and stepdad have a cat that just wandered into the house one day. It was the worse for wear so they tried to feed it. Eventually they got it to take some food and it kept coming back. So they took it in, that was about 10 years back. They now have a happy healthy cat but she didn't start out that way. Sorry to hear about the loss of your cat.
Love the way you got that extra legroom - very clever!
It should ease the sore bum issue on longer trips. Thanks for watching

I thnk original design was "One size fits all" Mat, quite involved for a seat.
Nice work as always, thanks for sharing
Ive got a £5 that the fixings dont fit when they arrive. All the best Mat
Great progress again. So many details to get sorted but you will get there. Enjoyed the film. I didn't know you had a cat!

Apologies for the rough video, but it should do the job if you screen grab a frame or two…
The black seat frames sit on the sliding rails. The middle seat then have their own brackets
😊😊😊😊
👍
That rusty passenger frame is the deluxe version.
Im assuming originaly supplied with less rust ! Thanks for stopping by. Mat
It's only a Landover !! Better get it done and back onto the Holbrook !!
Trust me, Im doing my best to.
I have a photo but cannot paste in the comments, will try to post on YT account
