Welcome to our last video / blog post on 1 Peter! I have very much enjoyed diving deeper into an entire book of the Bible. As you may know, 1 Peter is one of my favorite books, and I have really enjoyed being able to move through the many topics Peter covers. My hearts has been convicted (as it should), and I pray that yours has too. My prayer is that through these videos, the Holy Spirit will speak to you, and bring you closer to God.

Gosh I needed this today. Thank you. I lost a good friend today when I tried to share the gospel and I need to remember that God is always with me no matter what and that He has a reason for everything. And many suffer more than this and that Jesus suffered so much so that I could know Him and share Him with others.

I love listening to your messages and the love in your voice. It is beautiful. I certainly do not understand suffering when I think about how Jesus suffered and his disciples. I have told people this message before when people have tried to say how God wouldn't allow certain things to take place. I don't know why people think that being a Christian means everything is easy when that is not the case at all. I am glad you have shared what you have. God loves us through our struggles!
Thank you for your kind words. I don't understand suffering to that deep of a level either. Yes, it's easy to think that because we have the truth, God would bless us for that with peace and comfort always, but that's not what we're called to. So glad He loves is through our struggles!
Thank you for your 1 Peter study, perfectly timed for this season in my life. The word shown to me with this video was Eph 3:20, "Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think". He was speaking of Spiritual growth, but how it applies to when we need help as home makers & as missionaries (sharing God's love & the gospel with others).
I sit and contemplate the question: What price am I paying for my faith? Of course, it can’t be compared to the persecution of early Christians, but currently, the most common reaction from people around me is accusing me of joining a sect. Also, minus one friend who couldn’t handle my conversations about faith.
So, thank you for addressing such important questions!

This is beautiful Kelsey, and helpful..I loved the Peter series . I will read it over , because my struggle is on many occasions with my tongue: replying harshly it a working point , humble my thoughts also ..but I put my trust in the Lord ,ask His forgivness and with the strength He provides ,it will work out ! God is so good ..what would I be without Him by my side ..

Do you send to the Northern Ireland? Can you please do a video about depression, fear, anxiety, I have been suffering with this on and off for years and the last couple of months I’m getting worse. Should I see it as a trial or from mental illness 😢 please speak more on depression from Catholic perspective ❤

I want to talk more about mental health, especially from a Catholic Christian perspective. I am very much a believer in true mental health, and scientific reasons for it. I do also believe we need to have faith and trust that God can get us through and out of this storm. I will be praying for you! Yes, I do see it as a trial and way God is trying to pull you closer. It is the cross you are asked to bear right now. However, I do also believe that He gave us medicine and therapy and Scripture to all help. ❤️
We are not called to suffer but to learn to rejoice and be grateful in any circumstance.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (John 14:27 ESV)
Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:11-13 ESV)
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV)
You are right. We must learn to rejoice and be grateful! We also know that Christ suffered, so we are called to suffer too.
"For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake." Philippians. 1:29
1 Peter 2:20-21, "But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps."
So even if you don't say "called to suffer", we are supposed to suffer. God brings us closer to Him through suffer. There is a purpose for it. ❤️
Hi Kelsey beautiful video. I usually don't leave comment but I felt compelled to do so. I notice the Blind cords are not put up in a high way out of reach from the babies. I just wanted you to be cautious of that, when opening the blinds. What I do is use two command hooks back to back so that the blind string can be wrapped completely around them. I place (stick) them inside the window seal out of the way. I hope you are ok with me offering this advise. Beautiful video regarding our Messiah!

To recently discovered your channel and you have stirred my heart up to learn and fulfill the role God has created me as a woman, a wife, and a mother! To excell! To start a prayer Bible over what God calls an excellent woman! And to ask Him for help in that!
I love the scriptural content, the calm music, it helps me refocus and relax in quiet moments while I am busy in the kitchen or nursing!

There is one idea I suggest in the planner- a page that allows for me to have space to “prepare work for my attendants” as it says I. Proverbs 31.
My children love being given useful things to do and it is good for them when I make plans for them too!
Yes! What a great idea. Like a page or two for them to "fill" out? Or like kid friendly tasks?

I find it very insulting people preaching about suffering as such a blessing and joy, when literally everybody is after you to kill you for 50 years, please teach me about suffering, not before.
