Retail can be an awful experience. Also it opens you up to crazy people, and every person with a personality disorder that can walk into your store.
not to mention hooded armed / smash and grabbers.
This channel always reminds me that the early 00s was the nadir of watch design.
Hey Fed! Thanks for taking my question!!
Best travel watch without getting robbed? Casio AE-1200 World Time! You're welcome.
Try the 1500. Best ever and solid as a rock. 25$
Love the Casios
Get an SKX Mod Case and you have a perfect travelling watch.
Hahaha, love Casio but we talking about Rolex in here not shitters 🤣

1. No we dont.
2. If you like to get your Rolex cut of your wrist with a machete, go for it. You do you.
Nice to see you wearing a Breitling…glad you came to your senses
I have a Breitling Flyback and it is one of my favorites. Considering another Breitling.
My daily Breitling is a A13358, its a 39mm Chrono. Love it.
Dig the new glasses!
Love the Breitling. I have it with the same band but with the silver dial👍👊
The cheapest Rolex you can buy is the Tudor Black Bay 👍🏽 Great everyday watch, and excellent value for money. Never sell hierloom watches and any watch that was a milestone celebration.
How much thoug
@@rylon2563 A starters Tudor could be around 2k €
I like your glasses, where do you get them?
Damn! The VC is the most handsome watch I've seen in ages...
My travel watch is a Fears Brunswick Topper LE, the first one with push pull crown
For travel I got Tudor BB Pro. Great watch. Few people know anything about it. Another safe travel watch i# the Longines Zulu time..
I bave one of the cheapest rolex, the air king 34mm buy in 2011,works and look great...love it.
Great pick. Enjoy it.
How much are the service costs, and how often do you service it?
Just to get the impression of how costly the ownership is.
Thanks
@@petrnovak8143 thanks for your interest.first i send it to rolex it was free because she was under waranty, she taking 2 minutes late per week, seems to much for me,so i send it free, she come great with perfect acuracy, but some month later i hear a noise very strange just like if something was moving inside,i heard rolex revision cost 1500$,so i live the watch to a famlus jeweler in france were i live,he tell me rolex always do that, you send a rolex under warenty and thy create a future problem, when they open the watch they were right,a piece of the watch were not in his place and for luck the watch were not damage.cost me 500$ for replace and clean the mouvment.since this moment i never come back to any revision and works perfectly.i buy it in 2011 .
Agree with your comments about retail stores, nevertheless wishing Teddy the success he deserves. Not sure about your new glasses though, hope you have a few others to change, glasses are fun like watches 😉
Nice one. One thing want clear to me: What functions make that Credor a good travel watch? (Does the button change the hour hand or something?)
Tudor black bay pro great travel watch.
Still might get you robbed, though.
Travel Watch - any Casio with caliber 5161. Analog hands for your home time-zone, digital display for your local time-zone. Solar, radio-controlled quartz. You can get versions with sapphire, titanium.
hi fed, credor is new to me, as is baume et mercier; what do you think is a good starter watch? ik like dress watches, even if i am going to the gym...
If the Rolex OP Precision were available in 39mm, it would be hot in today’s market. The lack of bling, hard to find on many of the current Rolex models, would attract a lot of watch enthusiasts
New glasses, lookin' good! 🤓
Fed, I think a GREAT option for under the radar travel watch is Grand Seiko SBGP005G with the 9F quartz movement and 24 hour hand.
Your final point was great. For me, no watch is a "keeper", because tastes and needs change.. I've had 5 Omegas in the past, many seikos , casios and Hamiltons, and recently sold my Speedy to end up with just one IWC mark 16. Totally love it. ...I have no regrets. We learn along the way, enjoy certain watches and try others. There's nothing wrong with that. It's a journey
Agreed
Well written.
Can I ask you, what made you choose the Mark 16 and not the Mark XX?
I was looking at them recently and am not sure, which one I would pick.
@@petrnovak8143 of course! First of all, the price. I paid half of the cost of XX... then the mark XVI is more of a tool watch I would say. There are less shiny surfaces - I.e. the hands are matte and less polishing on the case... the case is a little smaller at 39mm, and I love the dial design. The missing 6 and 9 numerals create a cross hair look. It's a very beautiful watch... move was from 2011 and after getting it serviced and a light polish, it looks like a brand new watch for a total price of £3200..
I think it's a unique looking watch, a little more quirky, and the only other Mark series I would consider would be the XV.... the XVI are not very common, so I don't know how easy it will be to find. But that makes it even cooler....I use various bulang and sons straps and nato straps (bark & jack and watch gecko) and its just a great do it all beautiful watch. The dial contrast is out of this world... don't get me wrong the XX is great...
Oh and the movement is ETA based, so will be easier and cheaper to service.
Let me know your thoughts
@@petrnovak8143 hi there, my reply was deleted for some reason...I love the more tool vibe of the 16. Dial has a cross hair look due to missing numerals, which is well balanced. Colour matched date window, no shiny hands and less polishing on case. Simple classic case back and smaller 39mm case... it looks gorgeous on any high quality leather strap or nato... the contrast of the dial is just amazing... the XX is a very good watch but the XVI is more rare, more quirky and just super cool...yep. that's basically why
The cost helps too. I had mine serviced and its back like a new watch for half the price
@@petrnovak8143not sure why comments getting deleted...I prefer the XVI. Lovely cool cross hair dial, very contrasty, more tool feel with matte hands and less polishing... more rare too..clean case back. 39mm.. looks great on any strap. Just a stunning daily
I'm a fan of retail stores, i can't fall for a time piece over the internet, clothing, or shoes. My travel , "Don't Rob me Watch..." is a Timex Marlin.
I have a Vostok Komradirskii. I get more comments on that than my Breitling.
Some watch enthusiast make zero sense and worry about bullshit. That's such a dumb question about Tudor. If that's a concern to you don't buy a Tudor. I been traveling with a Heuer 272.006 chronograph. Great Breitling 👍 I love Breitling remains independent. I have a previous generation Breitling wings logo and love that watch. Excellent bezel action, lume and deadly accurate and just feels extremely well built. I still might add a Breitling Chronomat Blackbird love Those older 39 40mm Breitling chronograph from the 90s and early 2000s
Regarding traveling, that's what I tell myself while wearing my Zeitwerk too: "Nobody knows Lange". Hope that is not too incorrect :).
Orient is a worthy mention to travel with.
My Bell & Ross BR-03 just went to the border of Algeria in the Sahara and back.
Federico... did You keep the Vacheron Constantin eventually?.. that is one Beautiful Timepiece!.
I am dying to go to Teddy's new store for the experience, but I am more of a pre-owned or grey-market consumer. So I can see how having a store front is tough.
It’s a tough one. I’d considered trading in the Sub/date on a Planet Ocean, but decided to keep the Sub and buy the planet Ocean next month. In the end, if I ever wanted a Sub again the price would be too high.
The best travel watch would be the Sinn 856 UTC. Incredible hard because of its tegimented technology, great price, only a handful of people know about sinn, second time zone hand, water resistant to 20 ATM, you can choose from two colors (gray and black) and for me, it looks great!!!
i like the old air kings unfortunately have too many trust issues to buy a used rolex :/
Nice stache!
Travel watch I say a Grand Seiko GMT. Nobody even looks at it unless I am in a watch shop. Seriously nobody, I mean nobody even notices it.
If you don't keep that cream dial Vacheron ....well, just keep it.
Oh Fed, I've been trying NOT to buy the VC... did you have to bring it up again? Godddddammmit
First of all Fed I want to congratulate you because your site and the watches available are getting a lot more eclectic. I enjoy looking at watches that are unique or more rare that's what collectors like to do. Having said that I also think that you definitely should have a retail location because for a collector like me that doesn't get to see watches in person I hate the idea of buying online a watch that I have never seen before or worn to see what it even really looks like up close. I have yet to order a watch on your site simply because I don't have enough experience and knowing what every version of Omega Chrono Swiss vacheron or brigade looks like in person to know whether I like them or not. And I'm certainly not going to invest thousands of dollars in a watch that I don't know if I like. Exquisite watches over here in Naples Florida has a good selection of watches in their store and I hate to tell you this even though I probably trust you more and you might have better prices I'm more inclined to drop down there and buy one because I actually get to see it first. in fact if you had a store I'd drive 3 hours to come to Miami just to see the watches in person and get to talk and meet with people in person That's the other part of watch buying is a relationship with the company that you're buying from you can't get that on the internet. Of course I might have to pay more but that's the price to pay for seeing the wash before you buy it and get some hand holding in person customer service..... Just a comment from a would be customer.
I swore I’d never watch this blobs videos again but yet here I am
I have a Rolex Precision, it’s beautiful, if you’re interested I would sell or trade….
Retail = the public……..My dear, the noise, the smell and people…..😂
Also have to sell shit from brands no one wants

I can't believe these are the best questions people submitted.
Not the best questions on this episode that’s for sure
As much as I like Teddy, and wish him every success, competing against WoS, and official brand stores is not going to work.
The best rolex you can buy is one you build and serviced yourself 😎
Bought an IWC Mark 16 for around $3500... and have owned Aqua Terras and 90s Seamasters for less. Forget cheapest rolex and buy something classy for less money.... unless rolex is all you want
Submariner for $10 in Thailand
No, no, no, NO! lol
'no. No. No. No! Absolutely not!'
You look like you drive the city bus. Ha-ha-ha-ha..
Those are QUITE the specs Fed.
Square steel g shock with blue tooth is best travel watch.
That’s why Teddy is a total shill
Rollo, DJ 41 sucs. Totally out of proportion, the fluted bezel looks hideous. Seen this watch on many occasions live and it looks some what from Q&Q inventory. Rollo made a big misstake with this watch to please the market with an oversized DJ. Instead to bring something new and exciting in their repertoire catalogue. All the best watch lovers.
That cream-dialed watch looks horrible. The seconds hand eliminates the 6, and cuts into the 5 and 7.
That’s part of the charm
Tudors that watch you always have to awkwardly explain, the cheaper alternative to what you couldn’t afford.
Teddy B. used money from his father to open up that store so it's not like he's a self-made man.
Rolex is a poor man's Skmei 💪👑
All Rolex watches should be 80% less. All boring pieces, no fun included.
