I’ve got a lot of questions about the song used in my latest video. This song was written by Rick Moreland and is available for download on SoundCloud below! suno.com/song/cbb0f440-ef38-43ac-a892-042d4ec6cff6
Thank you for all your videos! It's really awesome to see them working on the tracks! The way they were just hanging into the river was unbelievable! I wish I could give Mary a hug!😢 I love the music! Be safe!
@bradsclassictrucks2007 It's so awesome that she has so many people who love her! I felt so bad for her seeing her cry. The scenery that was always there while she was growing up has all changed drastically in a day. It's so sad. God bless you all.
@01:46 is the remains of the old iron foot bridge across the river in Spruce Pine that was always a great spot to setup camera shots of trains from as well as watching fly fishermen down in the water. That foot bridge had to have been a good 50ft above the tracks and 75ft above the river.
Really nice video! Praying for all that have been affected by this storm! May our great and loving God show His mercy and provide everyone with their needs and help with the recovery!
This video is absolutely amazing Nathan I love it thank you and your dad for helping and all the wonderful things you all do keep up the amazing work buddy
Should be using that song as a fund-raiser, I reckon you could sell lots of copies...great video, thanks for the updates Its a shame that so much help has gone home, Winters fast approaching and there's so much needs doing...cleaning up and making habitable takes many hands, sorry I'm on the other side of the World or I'd come help ... good luck stay strong
Thanks update.Yes, this huge job rebuilt csx got plate full.Calgary alberta 2013 floods was bad cprail but this insane amount work need. Thanks drone report.😮
That Bridge from Red Hill was replaced 6 years ago. Surprisingly it still there. North Toe River still high. I was there August 5. You could see the rocks in the water. River never came over its banks.
With pillons facing the stream, why did the bridge at 16:55 stayed and others not? Nature does his things in a strange way... Good to see they rebuild the railway. Did not expect that.
Im being very serious when i say this, Rick, this is absolutely the best Helene song we've heard, hands down for us, we've playedit a thousand times and it never gets old, only better! I think a BIG artist should do your song and just watch how it becomes famous! @rickmoreland5206
Well... now we know its an intermediate signal. Also, I saw in another video that it looks like the rail is going to take an entirely different path through Poplar, NC and as such it looks like new footings are poured for new bridge. I wonder how drastically different the signalling system will look on Clinchfield when all is said and done here?
Greetings from New Zealand never seen a mess like this before just how many bridges were destroyed as i have been buildings for 30 plus years worked on a BIG under ground power station that went on for twenty years here in NZ north island The force of water moves mountains -----------bridges how many rail plus main road destored thanks
It’s amazing how fast they are repairing the tracks !! Money behind that for sure ! But really sad when tracks are more important than roads and building homes back !!!
I have a question, it might sound stupid but please bare with me. Are there any buildings that could be turned into housing for the locals? I know some have been helped with campers, but I couldn’t imagine a family living in a small space for all of winter. I’m far away and I feel helpless and I can’t even imagine what all of these families have gone through. ♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️
NS River Line update n of Asheville,,,RJ Corman crews working in the area. Line not expected to be operational until March 2025 mostly due to a bridge that has to be rebuilt near Newport TN.
Do u happen to know anything abt status of the loops been hearing that NS might abandon it but wondering if they will still to use a backup route or maybe they get funding from something like NC Railroad company to use for passenger service
@@kennethhanks6712 there are 2 sets of loops in NC…once on the csx clinchfield up by Altapass & the other just west of Old Fort, the old fort loops, on the NS Salisbury to Asheville line.
@@tux_the_astronaut I don’t. But I know that the line is being repaired. I don’t think the loops themselves received much damage but areas like Swannanoa & Black Mountain got ravaged. I could see NS leveraging the state’s desire to have a pax route on the line coupled with its desire to restart the region’s economy in an effort to help pay for repairs. Completely heresay on my part though.
@@cooloutboards1012 i know that the NC railroad company which works with NC dot has provided funding for helping rebuild short lines in the mountains and repair businesses rail connections
@beverlycoble5821 I am from Buffalo,NY. We have had a few natural disasters, tornadoes, flooding and snow and I know our state always has our backs. The Buffalo area has even sent help. It's terrible that North Carolinas government has not done much to help these people that have lost everything.
Gross to see these contractors trespassing on and destroying private property in Unaka Springs without even consulting the or informing the property owners whilst simultaneously violating federal laws regarding their fleecing of the rocks from the center of the riverbed to shoddily re-build the railbed using river rock. Work being conducted by a contractor who has absolutely no experience at this scale. Currently three federal lawsuits over their negligence. Sadly, we the taxpayer will pay the bill to subsidize their negligence.
Dude, they just experienced a DISASTER, let them repair, everything up there has been completely destroyed, they have to get that mess cleaned up, nothing in the river is where it was before the DISASTER, leave them alone and let them work, they're trying to help get at least a tiny bit of normalcy back,

Beautiful musical tribute to these communities. Who is the singer and name of singer.

What is the ruling grade thru there?
Just goes to show the Power of Nature We are NO match for the Forces of Nature
