Nice to finally see someone knows where the true credit is due. He wrote most of The Office, he wrote most of Extras. When Gervais ditched Merchant and made stuff like Derrick and Afterlife, it was mostly recycled XFM stuff.
When the first series of The Office came out I couldn't watch it. Too uncomfortable, I had to wait and borrow a mates DVD so I could stop it, grab a cuppa and prepare myself for the next five minutes!! 🤣 This is more of the same. Gervais is a brilliant genius and how they don't all just break character and laugh out loud is incredible.
