'Needles to say I took drugs' 😆😆
His facial expression when he pretends to inject himself and pass out is the funniest bit. 🤣
"Is that because he lived in a different wing of your house?" 😂
That was actually quite a good comeback.
Maybe think about it
I’ve seen this hundreds of times and yet that line not minding the hairs on his crackling makes me laugh every time
I'm going to end all my anecdotes in future with, Needles to say, I took drugs.
87PLS q
I did that and ended up getting banned from my girlfriend's parent's house.
“But it’s chiefly joy at other people’s misfortunes” lol
These two women in 'Nighty Night' were tremendous. Julia Davis is a great writer
Rebecca Front and Julia Davis - two of the most talented in the business.
Stormtrooper1488 why do you hate her? I’m not a fan myself but just curious on the hate bit
Front is so good, she was brilliant in The Thick Of It
Julia Davis was brilliant in Nighty Night
@Stormtrooper1488 thou doth protest too much. Admit it mate. You wanna bone her.
@Stormtrooper1488 Fair skin, blonde hair...I would have thought Julia Davis would be your sort.
The time is just coming up to 11.30....Oh sorry its your show. LOL
No matter how many times I watch this, I always laugh.
Alan Partridge and Nighty Night were brilliant
“Ever shaved your crackling?”
Partridge is KING! Bring him back on tv FAST!
Give him a second series?
@@TheThejpmshow It’s coming!!!!
Yeah give him a second series you SHIT!
British comedy at its finest, were fortunate enough to have so many great comedy actors and these are 3 of the best
Coogan is the most professional comedian. .he takes it seriously n still makes it seem easy
Three comedy geniuses here.
1:25 Alan's total inability to comprehend what she is saying is absolutely incredible. I love it. His paper thing ego. His clinging insecurity. I love it. Makes me laugh EVERY TIME!!!!
There is a bit of Alan in every man
Oooh, mince.
You slipped that in early
@@raminybhatti5740hmmmm huhhh yes indeed 😂
I love how apathetic Rebecca Fronts presenter character is to Alan’s rudeness & indeed Julia Davis’ drug addiction characters reaction!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Partridge at his best! Pure gold!!
Pommy humour is the best hahaha!
The first time I saw this episode, I nearly died. When he started to talk about the addiction to Toberlone I nearly aspirated the tea I drinking. This has to be one of my favourite comedy scenes ever....... My God...... I even sound like Partridge 🤔
When I first saw this I watched with a friend. He said he laughed so hard that he had Kenco coming out of his nose. But uh, my nostrils were clear.
The main problem with crackling is that it's a gateway snack that leads to harder snacks.
I can stop anytime .
I used to like only the airy, puffy pork scratchings...now I don't mind eating the filthy ones with dark bits and singed hair.
"Needles to say.. I took drugs" 🤣
The way comedy is at the BBC at the moment, bringing Alan partridge back for his belated 2nd series would probably be a very good idea, don't you think 🤔
bbc comedy, is a contradiction in terms now.
I gave up caring what drivel they prescribe over a year ago. It's full of political agendas.
from all the way over in Australia, yes, yes please bring Alan back!!
Ollie Plimsolls Done pure and simple with telly now. Heartfelt and seriously experienced Glasgow UK
Nathan Scott G'day Aussie!
3rd season
Do you slow down for car crashes
just back to back iconic quotes
Love how Alan forgets he's a guest on the show and does a time-check.
“Do you have hairs on your crackling?” Was coming up
Do you shave your crackling?
No but I’ve got a hair on my sweetie
Love this, just reminds me of me and my mates just rinsing each other over things they're embarrassed about haha
lol alan with cathy and jill- very good
This character is so well observed, the acting of the rest of the cast is spot on, the way Alan manages the antagonise , bullies , berates etc etc all those around him, his actions and character turn normal everyday encounters into ackward if not embarrassing comedic melodramas. yet at the very core of Alan Partridge is a man who despite his right win, pompous, clueless character is someone that honestly wants to do right by himself, his estranged family and society. His blatant faux pas's are almost childlike in their pettiness and obsessively pedantic nature. "smell my cheese" is an apt example, not only does Alan embarrass himself with his employer by forcing him to smell cheese, he is so completely unable emotionally to handle the very brutally honest feedback , runs off with a block of cheese on fork, his mind going in a million different directions as reality bites, he's not as suave and successful as he thinks himself. I find there parts of Alan life interesting with regards to his character. One : he loves James bond. Two : his love of all things Norwich. three : his work life. James bond is how Alan wants to see himself. A respected , dapper , man about town type. bonds British and is written for by a British writer, his tastes are traditional, yet he can play the maverick if he needs to , ALWAYS getting the better of his opponents, something Alan rarely manages to pull off. As for Alan love of Norwich City and it surrounding countryside it is a small town kind of place where he can be a player in business and the rural social scene because of his limited fame on TV. He plays on this slot bulling local celebs and demanding freebes from chain stores in the area. He hates London as the exact opposite of Norwich for its big size and home of the tv elite whose ranks he is not able to function in, professionally and socially. Alan bitterness towards London is one of rejection. Alan work defines him, he is not lazy in the work sense but will mismanage his projects
a very brilliant analysis.
Do you slow down for car crashes?
You forgot to end that chapter with "needles to say, I took drugs"
An analysis worthy of Carl Jung - and Alan has a lot of time for people called 'Carl'.
Andy McNab. Bravo Two Zero. Gets better every time I read it
Literally cut the best bit out! "Do you shave your crackling?"
It’s in part II
Alan is in his Roger Moore outfit
I actually work with people who alan Partridge could have been modelled on lol
Yep me too!!!!
I think there's a bit of Alan in all of us. Though we may not like it.
@onmy computer2020gal pity.
@Anna M. Thats the thing with the Left: its all "out there", all the bad stuff in the world. Levels of projection are high..
powerbite92 you are so deluded
I wish ‘Bouncing Back’ was available from Amazon!
It's when I encounter people like Alan... I understand why the other kids at school couldn't get away from me fast enough.
Y'live, y'learn.
😶
3 top comedians… really talented.
Partridge just cannot be beaten. The best comedy of all time (apologies to 'Only Fools...').
One word!CLASS!😂😁👍
"Ms.Kensington Double barrel on the Horse" 😆
'It had hairs on it but I didn't mind"
Coogan is a Manc, but he is pure genius, which ever character he portrays, he is not only funny but, a great guy. ❤️👍
Missed the "It's a razor" bit, where Julia said "it is actually called a gilet"😂😂
Need to Bring these back
I find it difficult to to find a word to describe Alan Partridge. It could be that the exquisite pomposity of the person within takes courage to infiltrate an extraordinarily fierce empathy with himself.
no comedy in world ever will beat this
lol Alan's face when she says "People can end up talking out of their arse" at 3:20
OFAH
Needles to say, i really enjoyed this
Needles to say.
Time just coming up 11.30….oh sorry it’s your show!
Classic partridge 😂😂😂
I'd a bit of crackling last week and it too had hair on it which is u usual in this day and age. Anyway the great man is returning!!!!!!!
Genius comedy.
Richard Madeley absolutely needs to watch himself on this. Uncanny
So so funny. Alan Partridge Ahha.
yes i know what a parking meters are
interrupts with im alright now lmao
Already 20 years old, and still fresh.
The two lasses are from Nighty Night!
solyentbrak1 the presenter is from knowing me knowing me also
Hi Cath!
make em laugh how he interrupts lmao
"...chiefly joy at other people's misfortunes". She says that like it's a bad thing...
It had hairs on it ! ( But i didn't mind ) :)
Alan always won because he goes rogue and nuclear on people like he has his own code red button , like when Dan kept coming back with a witty response trying to out do Alan and Alan says ' I've got your kids Dan I've got your kids !'
Needles to say... I took drugs
Why cut out the best part where Alan asks Kate: "Did you ever shave your crakling?"
Jazzabuser it’s BBC. It would offend someone, somewhere...
Its in part 2...
Good title.
“Do you slow down when I car crashes” 😂😂
Great
The micro change in his expression when she accuses him of talking out of his arse, so so good 3:23
I think Jill Tyrrell would have had Alan for breakfast, literally!
Hiii Kaathhhh
To that presenter i have one word - omnishambles
3:20 Steve Coogan being laugh out loud funny, doing absolutely nothing. Genius.
Try to stop watching and just listen to it like an actual radio show 😂! You’re welcome
I've seen that lady on People like us with Chris Langham. She was in that episode about Zenotec
Need to see more of JD.
Classic comedy
well im alright now
You could tell Kate was going to be trouble from the moment she appeared.
It had hairs on it, but I didn't mind.
SO FUNNY WHE NHE INTTERUPTS WELL I MALRIGHT NOW LOL
Specifically Toblerone.
I feel I have....had...and are...bounced...bouncing
Alans difficulty dissing his neighbors of the palm beach isles of Norfolk.
quality AP
Julia davis is so, so fit
Mines upbeat too
You have a lot of issues...
Of What Car magazine!
What Car magazine should've capitalised on that 'issues' joke. Something like "What Car, no crack-heads just petrol-heads".
Needless to say, Alan had the last laugh in that debate...
Back when we had good stuff.
Yep, spend 20 minutes channel hopping only to end up putting on a dvd, Partridge, Fast Show etc etc. TV did used to be good didn't it.
Do you slow down for car crashes ?
Julia Davis is utterly gorgeous.
Kate is FIT
THEY HAD TO AGE HIM AT THAT TIME THEY DONT HAVE TO AGE HIM NOW, HE HAS GROWN IN TO THE ROLE
It’s the prime minister from the thick of it
Where’s the part where he’s on about the horse in a cubicle with magazines?? It’ll take some doing but I can’t see it. 😂
mines upbeat too.....
Get Partridge on LBC fast.
What car magazine.
d'you slow down for car crashes?
