Totally agree! She is sitting high, I think with the Lord, and he is walking right with her! He knows her heart, She wears it on her sleeve. Her love is never ending for people. No one may be perfect, but she is very close. I think her parents did a fine job and her brother is just as high spirited as she is, and think they wer good for each other really,

Absolutely! And he has come so far. He is also a Chef! He was so quiet at first and then opened up and started to become so much more sure of himself. Truly a hard worker!
Cameron cracks me up! Builds a “tree” at the table with a ketchup bottle and MacDonald’s sauce packets, drinks out of an ornament/bauble and wants to drink out if it everyday, then thought he didn’t know the words to The First Noel but says “I lied…I did know this song.” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
This was totally wonderful. And doesn't everyone need a Stephanie and Philip to lead the way to such fun? I think it was so nice to see Dan glowing as Stephanie began the tour of the chateau! Her vibrancy is such a balm for the cold, rainy days of December. And I love Cameron. He just jumps in and participates. Love this whole episode.

Stephanie is staunchly loving and supportive of the people in her life and, as Tonton Steven says, "the happiest woman on the planet"!
I think she has achieved her main goals. There will be more, but her main ones are reached. She knows what she wants and goes for it. Never doubting it may not work out. This sets a stage I think for the action to occur, perhaps? Stubborn, dedicated, and seems to know this Chateau she has, is the one she was destined to own! Although much of the Chateau is absolutely beautiful and yet there is much more to finish and at this point they are happy enough as it is quite an undertaking. But more to work on and expand ,to when ready. Or if needed. But she has accomplished enough to be happy for now.
I also think she has the most super british accent ?? She is very nice to listen to.
Oh I miss the vibe Dan and Steph have always had! It’s like brother/sister kinda thing….
Always joking and pushing each other’s buttons just a bit. “I hugged him but he didn’t like it” 😂
What a wonderful time visiting Dan, decorating the tree, which looks so much better decorated, singing. This is a special friendship that warms your heart.
The whole cast of characters bring much happiness and joy in all they do. Imagine sitting down at a beautifully set table eating McDonalds with fries. Having festive drinks out of baubles (Cameron needs a set for home)....in a beautiful, cozy yurt. Love how Dan has furnished the yurt with the bathtub, sink, taps ......who needs running water? Now that we know the ages of this friendly bunch .....Nick is the oldest of the merry men and he can manage to keep up with all the "young guys". His knowledge and energy is boundless! ❤❤❤
That was so funny and sweet. Miss you and Dan together. You remind me of my brother and I. He was so uncomfortable singing but he stood there for you. Cameron is so sweet singing proudly. They are a great group.
Finally got to see the yurt thanks to Stephanie. Now that wasn’t so hard Dan, was it. We have been asking for a while. The tree looks amazing. And I forgot that Stephanie used to sing for her supper. Beautiful. Lovely to see Nick and the Cam Man. Philip sets a mean table even in the middle of the woods.

T he perfect evening to start Christmas at the chateau. Nick and Cameron have been such a huge help to Dan they had to be part of it. Decorating the tree was such fun, everyone helping. Philip your table was lovely and bravo Stephanie for braving the steps to get to the top of the chateau. 🎄🎄🎄
Just wanted to say how wonderful Stephanie is as a person.....when she started the channel I like many people thought she was a rich lady and her friends were extravagant and also rich😅, but one thing I will always remember is the way she treats every person the same way, when Dan started in lalande he was just a Gardner, but she was filming his progress just like she did today.....the same energy,the same enthusiasm,the same respect and love, they weren't as close friends as they r today but Stephanie personality is so easy going that Dan in her diaries was part of the lalande family even if he wasn't a regular like many other members. I feel her sincerity when she interact with people...even the postier!!! I was a big fan of Dan the Gardner and his chemistry with Stephanie and lalande family was my favorite and I miss it a lot...but am really happy for Dan to have grow his own channel and now is a châtelain himself of a ...ruin😂 but soon with a new roof! Thank u Stephanie for being so humble and respectful,great lesson for everyone❤

@anneduff9294 Stephanie studied opera in University and was an opera singer before her life as a Chatelaine. Isabelle wanted her to continue but Steph just didn't have the passion for it. That us why she specializes in Music Workshops etc at Lalande. If you go back to her first episodes, she sings with the students, plus is in a concert at the local church.

It's perhaps the best choral I've ever heard before in France. The yurt is really spacious, and light, and well laid out. For a year, this adventure of Chateau de Chaumont is simple incredible.
