Which model is Michael using? Didn’t you use these in the past? Can you give me an honest review? This would be wonderful for my husband when he mows the grass! Thanks! From owasso, ok
I used a different but similar cooling neck fan in the past. They work great! During COVID when we all had to wear face masks I used mine year round to keep my glasses from fogging over. 😎
Do you have a link to the optional battery pack? I couldn't find it on Amazon. t.i.a.
@@wgdg4839 It should be Torras coolify cyber.
Let's just leave the magical Simon out of this. Yanis is fabulous! He's hard-working, dilligent, and exacting on himself. So what if he wipes his fingers on his work clothes instead of on a cloth? He's a first-class citizen, contributing to something greater than the restoration of a property.
Taught by a master, A master in the making well on his own
I like Simon and Yannis.
Yannis ROCKS 🤘🏻
Agreed. Yanis now stands on his own.
If Yanis can do those arches like that then he’s surely made Simon very proud!!
daddy is very proud
Yanis has turned into a artist
As a former employer in the States, I can honestly say that you have a true gem in Yanis. He is such a hard worker, conscientious, willing to learn. I’d truly would have loved to have someone like him(beside my husband) work for us. He is a rare person in this present day world! Take special care of him. 😉
As a current recruiter I second that!
Yes..true hard worker ..
Billy, Love the channel my wife and I have followed you and Michael for years.
I'm a timber staircase builder from Australia, I specialized in curved stairs and handrails. You are absolutely correct that your large timber balusters were made on a bandsaw and because you have the originals still you will be able to make a template to transfer the design quite easily. A CNC lathe or 5axis machine could do the work for you but with the amount of work required to program and get each individual piece in the machine depending on how many you need it may be easier to make them by hand. I'd love to discuss this more if you'd like.
Keep up the amazing work!
Cheers mate.
The look on Yannis’s face when Billy called him professional. Priceless. You should be so proud of yourself Yannis ❤🎉
Simon is no doubt proud of his protege Yanis...he being the great teacher and Yanis the great student...he has passed the test! We need to keep encouraging this hard working young man...we are fortunate he has come into all our lives.
I agree with everything you say!!
A ⭐️ is born. What a guy!!! Look after Yanis!!!
SHOUT OUT TO YANIS!
Why Simon doesn't get much plaster on him... cuz he had Yanis to open and mix the plaster, haul the buckets into to work area, mix all the plaster batches and hand whatever Simon needed directly to him! YANIS is doing all those jobs on his own with minimal assistance.
YANIS IS STUDENT BECOME THE MASTER,
or on the way to mastering with a few more years. Also, he's not used to his long hair and concave ceiling plastering, so he's getting a bit messy. All the best to that man and all of your crew Billy.
10 years until the cottage in the woods, you keep taking us on your journey Billy and we will enjoy watching for another 10 years!!!
I gotta say: after many, many months of watching this channel, that Michael has an incredibly impressive skill set and energy.
Today watching Yanis in the intro to video made me think of Bob Ross. He's an artist. He looks like his brother in this video 😁👍
Yiannis has proven himself to be professional at every task ❤❤🎉🎉
All the projects seem to be moving forward very nicely !!
Watching Michael and Billy talk about library, you can see why they do what they do. The love of history and architecture. It's beautiful to watch and I'm glad people still care about it.
That is so true I wish more people in my city Victoria B.C. were of the same mind.
@@laurensouthgate2458As a former Victoria native, I must agree, every time I go back for a visit it seems more old landmarks have been knocked down to make way for some new abomination.🖤🇨🇦
@@laurensouthgate2458 They are probably there you just have to go look for them somehow. Maybe, in RUclips renovation videos, searched by location, if you narrow it down by location. Might be worth a try. (?)
Well, in my mind the Petherick motto has just been changed to “Crack On, Because Anything Is Possible!” Love listening to you two talk over plans.
🇨🇦👋 The excitement caught in Micheal’s eyes, when the top museum floor was being described , was catching. What a respectful renovation guys.
Well done Yanis!!! The ceiling looks amazing!!!❤
Love that intro music and Janis is going to be an expert plasterer for life. Thank you so much Simon! You can spot a great plasterer when you see one. You changed his life. And thank you Billy for making it all happen. ❤❤❤❤❤
Yannis is doing a fabulous job
I love Michael's enthusiasm! He makes me smile just seeing him smile. I love the respect Billy & Michael have for each other, as brothers, as well as work ethics, trust, and visions. You are truly special people. ❤️
I love how you two use each other's strengths ;-)) Far too many siblings compete with each other.
Yes, they are such a united, loving and close-nit family.
I’m suspicious of people who don’t get their work on their clothes 😉 😂
Thank you for sharing your vision for the convent - I hope it will be a destination spot someday for showing people how to respectfully renovate.
Every day is a new adventure with the Pethericks!!
Thanks for having Yanis be our host even for a little bit. I know it's more work but I wouldn't mind seeing a typical conversation with subtitles every now and then.
Even though it seems like Michael couldn't catch a break luckily there were no catastrophic events! Great video, see you all tomorrow.
If you click on Transcript, which is under the bolded “ …more “ just under the video title . It’s not the same at subtitles, but still, you have all the dialogue.

i could be wrong but I think what was meant is that it'd be nice to hear Yanis chattering on uninhibitedly in French rather than struggling in English. He does very well but it's not the same. Forgive me if I understood incorrectly :)
Wow, Yanis is doing a fantastic job on the ceiling. It's going to make the kitchen look so interesting.
Yanis has sure become a very talented man! Love seeing his work!
Wow, it’s tricky plastering vaulted ceilings. Yannis is amazing.
He is such a hard worker! I think with those curves he could use some smaller tools.
I had a similar thought yesterday so I'm glad someone else is like minded.
I had the same thought , while watching Yannis plastering the ceiling area , He is a very hard worker indeed.
Yanis has come a long way from his starting to plaster. His work is great. I love what he has done with his frosted tip of hair, or should we say plastered hair. Great job Yanis.
Lovely to see Michael regain all his old self confidence …….would be nice to see how his cottage looks now …!
Great also to see work being done at the Chateau again ….lots going on ….! xx
Perhaps Michael would like to present his cottage when it is all finished. Pls let’s stop bugging him. He may show it to patrons only.
Why did I know that Michael's first word would be, "Wow!"? 😉
Happy Michael is a joy to behold! You two are so knowledgeable & respectful. The Kitchen, terrace and Library are going to be fab! Crack on Billy, man of vision 👏👏
Great plaster work Yanis.
👏 👏👏 everyone is so hard working and diligent. Truly amazing transformations.👏👏👏👏🥳
Did I hear Billy say “you do like to shop! don’t you Michael” 😂🤣😂
Pot meet kettle... 🤣
Or coffee machine 🤭
😂😅😂😅😅❤
@@Mitch-Hendren😂😂😂😂 yes!
Yanis is such a hard worker and does amazing work. You need to feed that boy more Billy. Lots of calories out mens he needs more calories put back in. Great work Yanis!!!
1:47 The sign of a true artist/ skilled artisan/ tradesman is to "become one with his/her work..."
Spiritually and figuratively. 😅❤❤❤
Yanis is a becoming a plaster master. I hate plastering a flat hole or strip in a ceiling. To do arches is a lot harder. Yanis, vous êtes un vrai artiste.
It makes you wonder if all those beams would have remained usably straight if they had not had to cope with so many floor layers.
Yannis is doing a great job 👏 as Always
I love you vision for the convent Billy
Exciting times ahead. 😊🏴
Hey... Hey.... Billy..... Hey....
You have a bulb out.
i only just changed them! it’s michael’s heavy cleaning!
Never expected to hear a BB King (blues) instrumental on your site. A great blues artist.
Yanis est un homme de la Renaissance !
Love the coffer ceiling of the kitchen. Our art museum has such ceilings. A few years ago, Billy introduced Coolify. i have not tried it. The Gallery will be a nice place to display curiosities as in curios I have in my home which display a plethora of historical things that were used my family members decades ago. Yiannis has become a "Jack of all trades" like me.
Wishing Yannis every success that young hard working man deserves. Watching this fine gentlemen soak up information, trades, and crafts while leaning a new languages is a true inspiration. He should be a beacon for today’s generation. What a guy 🍻😁
Congratulations Yanis Master plasterer. Now you can up your rates. Another great video 😅xx
Well done yanis excellent work 👍 kitchen is coming on really well
Here in the south, we say buggy or cart instead of trolley. It's neat to see what other's call it.
Well... in France, it's a caddy.
Simon is my favorite! He is brilliant!
When I see Yanis I just want to give him a hug! He reminds me of my own son and I admire his dedication, diligence and focus on getting the work done and done right. Really enjoying seeing Michael as well. Will be interesting to see how those ballastrades for the library are sourced!
Can we have the Simon and Yanis dream team back?!
yes soon!
Yanis should begetting double pay for this horrendous overhead work!
I did work on ceilings, filling gaps between tiles and painting many coats over top.it’s awful work fur the arms and shoulders.
And then there’s the added curves of the scalloping!
Wow!
Hard work!
And he’s making it look easy!
He’s got the whole ceiling to do! Great work!
Brilliant Yanis!
Library, what about three floors with a vaulted ceiling with gold and silver leaf along with decorative paintwork done by Michael?
Fantastic turning dreams into reality Billy and Gwendolyn!!
Show stopper creativity and diligence!
You could create a historic scavenger hunt to educate and entertain.
Приятно смотреть на счастливых братьев, красивые, талантливые, молодцы.
6:52; like when cable tv bragged about being "commercial free..."
Yanis must be so very proud of himself, he really is doing a wonderful job! Each time I think of the enormity of the work you have all done it simply blows my mind. The library will be a huge job going forward and it will be awesome to see how you pull it off.
The ceiling looks amazing , watching Yannis polishing the plaster makes the ceiling look amazing.
love the groove music Billy - isnt Yanis doing brilliantly. He really has turned out to be a real Gem!!!!
That fireplace / recessed bit, I hope you make a feature and a little reading nook there.
Dreams abound.
I think Phil has the right chair for that spot
You Pethricks are looking fit! And all the projects are looking amazing!
What a fun video. It was really enjoyable to tag along with you two brothers! ❤
Yanis has become a master plasterer . He’s learnt from Simon.👍😎 Hey Billy, amazing how everything is coming along. Love the video. ❤
Michael is moving right along with the patio/porch, Rick and Yanis are such a pleasure to watch. Rick is always willing to do what ever is needed and Yannis is honeing the skills Simon has taught him. Thanks for another well edited delightful video Billy.
Love this so much! The kitchen looks amazing and I really enjoy Billy and Michael talking things out. What a great family!
It is such a pleasure to see two brothers getting along so nicely. I don't think you realize how blessed you are. I never got along with my narcissistic siblings.
Michael, wear a hat or you'll get sunstroke.. 🥵
I had an idea the other day
What about using a endoscop camera or something like that, to look into the crypt through the window/ air vent. To see if its empty or filled with dirt
Will you be adding some sort of conservation film to upstairs windows to protect the books from light damage? 🤔
I bought one of those neck air conditioners for my daughter last year for Christmas, from your video! She loves it! ❤️😂
We had two in the office at the convent but they both disappeared so they are definitely good 🤣
@@ThePethericksput a tracking device on everything 😊😉
@@ThePethericksyour ghost has it, one day it will turn up again.
👍🏼FANTABULOUS YANNIS👍🏼
The time and number of steps Michael took to walk the length of the Refectory demonstrates the size of this amazing project.
Billy, looking at all you have accomplished since the beginning is just amazing. When you think of all the work that has been done by just a few men it is mind blowing. I have seen buildings being renovated by large crews and your few workers are doing a wonderful job. I know it is hard going at times but so exciting to see the progress and a bonus to be working with friends who are such talented and dedicated men. Great job everyone. 😊❤️
I miss Michael’s channel. He was the first château channel I subscribed to.
Yanis is a true treasure and has been brought to the Pethericks and made into an amazingly talented young man by another amazingly talented man named Simon!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Brothers. I’m not sure how to accept your banter today. Michael wants a larger space, Billy wants to focus on finishing what he already has started. Yannis is craicing on. Happy birthday Dad. Oh my gosh. Family. I love this channel
I’m beginning to understand the “short” doorways to the cells. Every new layer of floor, the doors got shorter.
Love the intro music, today !
So cute, Janis has plaster in his hair.. Everything is so lovely..
Cabinets of Curiosity along with your books will fit perfectly in the library.. Even a stuffed emu or ostrich would go well.. 😄😆
Brilliant video 👍🤗👍🤗
Love Sue❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
It’s much easier to make the balustrade columns rounded on a wood turning lathe. I think it looks even better to. Keep it up heroes! 🏆⚡️🛠👏
Yanks has some Bob Ross vibes minus the happy little trees.
Who is this Bob Ross people are talking about?!
The top floor of the library will be billy's giant cabinet of curiosities
No to electric cars
Billy you could ask the viewers to send books in for the library then sort them by language and type (drama , love , thriller , etc... )
Yanis is doing a great job on the plastering. I’m impressed as he really has just learned this skill. Considering how they kept adding floors, no wonder some of the beams are bowing.
I was wrong about the red bed curtains. They look lovely after a second look. And Yannis, when I paint I wipe it on my clothes as well. Nothing wrong with that.
Hats off, Yannis ,you are incredible 🎉🎉.
Simon must be very proud .
Crack on lads .
I remember when you started the kitchen ,I have the same expectations for the library now .
Excitement 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yanis looks like me when I paint. I was amazed at Michael when he was painting the room with a brush, he was so neat and clean.
Michael, when you are working in the sun wear a white or light blue shirt. Black absorbs the sunlight and feels very hot while white or light blue reflects the heat. Try it.
Janis is remarkably talented. You have a brilliant all rounder in him. Hope he is paid his worth,
Cant wait to watch you guys build the library and the chateau kitchen. Thanks michael for the lovely drawing from montgomery pic visiting the neighbours ( cows). Came today!!❤
Yanis is amazing! He has become the Master of plaster and disaster (Demolition). great skills Yanis.
Michael is shocked?? Let’s find out more 😁
I just *love* watching people that spent €8,000 on a coffee maker complain about the price of rubber gloves.
I would love to see you and Michael build a Tudor style cottage. I live in a 500 year old Tudor half timbered cottage in the heart of the English countryside and it would be so interesting to see you try to replicate the build of one. Apart from the flooring, mine has somehow managed to retain all of the original features despite the introduction of electrics, plumbing and changing hands many times in the past 500 years. If anyone could pull it off I think you and your team could.
Groovy music choices today 👌
The music choices are always a great addition ❤❤❤❤❤
How about photos and profiles of the individuals who worked on the convent with you? In the years to come it will be of interest to many and will be of historic importance. How wonderful it would be if you found a book, file, or photos of the previous residents of the convent. :)
Yannis is doing a fabulous job on that kitchen ceiling. Simon taught you well.
It’s an exciting time for the château and the convent.
Yianis Yianis Yianis !!! Fantastic worker!
