This is a fantastic video. I use the Astro A40 TR with the Mixamp pro, and the Mixamp Pro along with the software are horrible. The stream port for streaming and funneling in chat audio pikcs up my mic even when the mic is muted in the Astro software. I have been wanting to find something different without getting a GoXLR. Great video, and I will be picking the Arctis Nova soon!

My friends are telling me the default nova pro mic sounds better than the sonar setting (they say I sound over-processed and the default sounds much clearer). It also picks up a bunch of background noise. I’ve tried all of the different sonar mic settings and just can’t seem to get it right. Do you have any pointers for me? I’m trying to set up the headset so that I get game audio and party chat through headset as well as stream notifications. I have a mic for stream. Is that possible. hey, i jus got this mic and i’m super excited to figure out everything. but first thing i’ve noticed is when i clip something from a game, there is absolutely no audio. no mic audio no game audio what should i do ? please help
How can I switch between speakers/headphones using the dac dial thing on PC? I am not able to figure it out because I have speakers plugged into line out and USB plugged in but the dial doesnt show PC as a setting just USB.
I have the 7p wireless...I have done everything you've shown in the video, but still no audio of me speaking is being transfered over. Is there any difference? I just want to be able to listen to chat/game audio on my headset along and it being transfered over to my pc. I have an elgato chat link pro, but it doesn't seem to do the job. Any help? Love the video by the way, it was very helpful. Please help
Hey Prawn. How would you set these up with the rodecaster pro 2 or gaming in order to still be able to use sonar while also controlling audio through the rcp2?
I watched your review and really liked it. I do have a question and not sure if you may know the answer. I've set everything up in Sonar, paired my headphones and am having one issue. Whenever I'm done using my headset (turn it off) I can't get the sound to come through my speakers unless I manually change it to my speakers. I feel like I may have something wrong. I only want sound coming through my headset when I turn it on and everything to go back to normal when it's off. I feel like I shouldn't have to manually change anything to be able to play sound through my normal speaker system when I'm done using this headset. Thanks for any info you can provide.
@@TheProvokedPrawn It is not just you. Even people with dual pcs won't show you everything. Seems like anything regarding pc parts never gets instructions. I got an Elgato 4k60 mk.2 and they didn't give you instructions on how to make it work with streaming software either. It is just weird that we went from everything having basic instructions to the cheapest items having instructions but not anything expensive.
Hey Prawn, by any chance do you have a suggestion for a camera or webcam or anything for streaming? I wouldn't mind a suggestion for starting and then one to work toward!

I just got this wirelss headset and am running into issues where my mixer will mute the game, but not the chat when I turn the dial the other way. Incredibly frustrating trying to get such a basic feature to work

I had a mix with my go XLR already I'm still figuring these kinks out ngl on apex getting these to sound great have been a nightmare.

I think you could run a 3.5mm cable from the RCP2 to the GameDaC but then it gets complex.
Can the Game Chat setting be used for PS5 game chat?

No but the logic will be the same.
For some reason my mic is not being loud enough, when I check, all mic setting and booster are max out
I didn’t notice but try plugging it on the side there’s a headphone plug on the side of the mic amp
