thanks. but I didn't hear nothing about audio comparison. 7ps is best for me with small dongle and all the features but I'm a person who much about sound. how do they (Pro) sound mate? do they worth this huge difference in price? or 7ps comparable? hope you will help to understand.
I'm leaning toward the nova 7's just for the battery life alone. I dont want to f around with swapping batteries and having another thing to plug in and hide. I'm a casual gamer 2 to 4 nights a week for a 2-3 hrs on average. My arctis 7's just died from 2019 so 3.5 years is good imo but usb C is a must.
I bought nova 7's about 2 and a half weeks ago. Charged them out of the box and haven't charged them again. I play about 10 hours a week. I keep waiting to hear the battery low beep and nothing yet
I have a Arctis 7 from 2017 still working. Ear cup hinges are damaged on one side, the volume wheel is not 100% and the battery life is very low. More importantly it takes hours to charge back again (with USB micro B!!). All in all the thing is still kicking. Just got a Nova 7 in the Black Friday for 115 Euros. Awesome battery life, USB C and "fast" charging make the swappable battery quite irrelevant imo. I am very happy without the Pro and if this one also lasts over 5 years there is really not much to complain about.
@@911CarreraGT I've had my arctic 7 since 2018 and they're still working as well. Mute button is finicky that's really it but I wanted an upgrade and after some videos I came to the Nova 7. Not even joking I had totally forgot which model of headphones I had so I had to check my purchase history and realized I came to the conclusion of the Nova 7 which are basically just the new version of my old headphones lol. I had trouble deciding between the pros and the Nova 7 but for me it was the lack of Bluetooth connection on the pros that made me decide to order the Nova 7. I've been using a Bluetooth ear bud on one ear and just putting that side of my headphone to the side of my head losing sound from one ear.
I have the nova pros and theyre fantastic just a sidenote if you have any steelseries headsets purchase some wicked cushions they will take your headset to the next level of comfort 👍👍
dude, I was asking myself if I should upgrade when I found your video. This really helps, I feel maybe my nova 7's will be fine for a while and I've had them for a year. Best headset I've ever owned, blew HyperX out the water, not to mention the customization with sonar. Sonar as a stand alone could make a cheap headset great, so with all this considered.. I may upgrade eventually into the pro wireless if need be. Really, depending on your needs the nova 7 would be the greatest budget headset for gaming, music, etc. while I would consider the pro wireless more of a streaming type of headset which would demand better sounds etc.
@clawson32104 I've got both the 7s and pros right now (will return the one I don't want) and the pros sound better to me. Better imaging, separation and cleaner audio. Idk if it's placebo or the different pads, + dacamp and maybe different tuning. They do sound different imo.
at the end of the video, you said that youd should save money and get the pro, but the pros are more expensive? would you still recommend the pros over the 7 if its more expensive?
I ordered a nova 7 and had to send it back cause to much clampforce was causing headaches, but I really liked the headset so I'm wondering if the PRO is bigger? (I have a big head)
As someone who does almost all of my gaming on a laptop, the box that comes with the nova pros seems like an absolute deal breaker to me. Add to that the faux leather is going to age terribly on the pros, and is also much worse for regulating heat - this really cements that the 7 is the one for me.
I have had the 7x for a while and decided to upgrade to the move wireless pro and am disappointed to say the least. The 7x has way better bass than the pro’s. Same settings etc yet the 7x perform way better bass wise. I’m sending the pro”s back
My issue is not being able to turn the Nova pros louder than the 7. Updated firmware dac , headset Ps5 are all maxed out and it's still considerably more quiet. Unless I'm missing something? Thank for the video but as of right now the 7's are louder allowing me to hear FS better. I adjusted Sonsr the best I could
@TheProvokedPrawn Just a little bit on the GG app but then I did sonar and apparently that'd only good for PC. Unless I need to go somewhere else in settings? I didn't see a volume limiter turn off in Engine like the 7 has unless I'm blind it's possible though. Thank you for responding.
Hey! looking at buying either or and wanted some additional input. I'm seeing lots of comments that the audio isnt too much of a difference for the price jump for the pros. Is that true in your opinion?
Im wondering if i should trade for the 7 after getting the pros cause the thing for the transparency lr whatever puts a pressure point on my ears that give me head aches
They are 100%identical. I actually sold my Nova Pro as the 7X do everything I need for a much lower price. I did however keep the all black headband strap and ear plates from the Nova Pro and put them on the 7x. Honestly most people that have seen them think they are the Pros. I do also have leather Steelseries ear pads on the 7x for a personal preference
Could you please tell me if the headband of the Nova 7 and Nova pro have the same length? The headband of the nova 7 is slightly too big for me so I wanted to know if I could purchase the headband of the pro to fix this issue. Would appreciate it a lot
