There's no way I'm speaking only for myself in saying, when it comes to the software aspect of streaming it gets incredibly overwhelming quickly. I would absolutely love to see more about cool software that can help with streaming!
You guys should really start using breakpoints in your videos! That way people can return to certain plug-ins and such easier when re-watching. All it takes is a timestamp in the description.
These are the kinds of videos that I appreciate the most. Videos about streaming theory are great but you can only cover the same topics so many times. Finding out about more tools, plugins and tricks is super handy for helping increase our production value.
Yes! Been wanting too record my sources separately for editing and this is perfect. THANK YOU SIR! Also, the more tools the better. So yes please, give us all the tools.
@@Ghalibo757 which one? I found a decent walk through on the plug ins individually too learn more about them. Pretty easy too setup if you follow along the walk through that are out there. A tool I really like using is called MIDI Mixer. I use it with a Behringer xTouch Mini as a volume control for up to 8 applications running, with the fader to be used as what ever my game is at the time. You can do so much more with it definitely worth looking at, as it is free.
Voicemeeter Banana is that for me, it’s sooo nice once you figure it out and has audio input/output splitting so certain stuff you can have go through different audio ports. If anyone wants help figuring it out hmu
@@iamthelamp Midi mixer isn't a replacement for VM by any means, it can actually be an extension to it! It will allow you to have a physical control on your desk to control those levels that you have set up. Thats the main focus of the software is allowing you to connect a midi device that will allow you to do things on your pc.
I love these types of videos. I'm always trying to streamline the process and at the same time find new ways to make the viewer feel like they are immersed in a 2D RPG. The first tool came in at just the right time to make the mechanics of my "quest board" scene much easier to set up. 👌
BRO BRO BRO! Years of watching you and this is EPIC coming from a real IT GUY who was able to follow his Happy Path as a content creator. You helped me grow in so many ways and now my voice is used in front of Millions for Gaming, from Radio, Podcast, Music, Gaming, and more. LOVE THIS!!!!!!
Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
felt like i needed to comment here because these are the kinda videos that i originally followed this channel for, and admittedly they're less common because most of the content feels already present on your channel. However, new stuff is stuff I struggle to find on my own, so i really appreciate when someone, who does know how to find it, shares it.
dude, i LOVE these type of videos, i get so much anxiety streaming, feeling like im not providing the best experience for my viewers. but your videos help me out so much. thank you .
I really appreciate the Reaper OBS Plugins (ReaPlugs) for sound fixing and EQ. I had a buzzing sound in my mic, and I was able to use them to isolate that buzz and remove it completely. It made my audio really clean while I figured out the source of the buzz. And yes, any OBS and plugin tips are great. Thanks for these, I'll probably check out all three.
that source record plugin is so so usefull imagine your using a song in middle of the stream and you have like chat and everything overthere but you don't want them to be in your record so you just add a new source remove those and start recording while your streaming.thank you senpai
Yes please keep doing these type of videos! I'm just starting off and I have no idea about filters/plugins at all and could use some help learning about them.
I absolutely can't wait to download these and do as much weird crap as I can possibly think of lol. As usual this channel continues to be completely goated, thank you!
I don't comment often on videos but just wanted to chime in that a series would be great. I hadn't heard of either Aitum or Exeldro's plugins before and I immediately went to download both once you went over them.
4 AM??? Make sure you are taking care of yourself! Thanks for the content. I am most excited about the 2nd resource and had not yet heard of it. Thanks!
I'm a hardware junkie so the "streamer tool" I think that is worth talking about would be midi-controllers (like the Korg Nanokontrol2 which is under $100) used in combination with the Midi-Mixer software and the OBS Plugin for that software. This would allow hardware control (faders, knobs, soft buttons) of individual windows volume sources, control of volume sources inside OBS directly, and OBS Scene and source control all at the free level of the software. If its something that interests you in featuring, I have a full tutorial video on the setup and usage a Korg Nanokontrol2 with Midi-Mixer you could watch to formulate your own opinion or quick overview if you tried it out. Anyways, keep on rockin.
Super helpful! These are my favorite videos where you break down effects, sound etc. to make your streams better. Definitely want to keep continuing it!
Gotta give you a shoutout bro. Streambeats is dope and I use it for all my streams for my intro and BRB scenes. Much love for you and all that you do. You’re top shelf man.
Personal I am not an Elgato user, YET! The feature they added that I think is the coolest is the green screen effect through NVIDIA along with the blur effect.
That 3rd one, it’s a staple, but I hadn’t heard of it either. Thanks for sharing! Just getting started with streaming (coding projects), and what a big world of tooling it is.
Aitum is something I have been looking for, for a long time. I have a two PC setup and operating OSB using my stream deck with Aitum works lawlessly. I'm loving it. Thank you for this highlight!
This stuff is super helpful. As a small (way too small) streamer, I love seeing tools that can make my life easier, upgrade my streams, and give my audience more interaction..ation.. abilties. I need more coffee. And stop working at 4am, dude! Get rest!
Source recording is cool. I used to open a 2nd instance of OBS just to record the gameplay without the overlays. Now I can do it without a 2nd source and only a plugin. Yay!
If I were streaming consistently like before, I would consider it but I more than likely won't download anything. I do find all the information interesting so good work, keep it up.
Your videos have honestly helped me so much. It takes me a while to dig into them and incorporate them into my stream but honestly if I myself or anyone that I know EVER need hlep with anything associated with streaming, at all yours are the first videos that I look for and send to others. Because I know that they will always be straightforward, easy to follow, and will give the best advice that I could possibly find. You have been who I have gone to first for everything for the last two years that I have been streaming on Twitch. ☺Noobtasticgaming
One that I use but it might be popular is Advanced Auto Switcher. I use a separate scene and alerts for my League Client and League in game and this plugin makes it so that whenever the .exe of the game is detected it sticks the Game scene until the game ends and the exe disappears, also goes back automatically to the Client scene. I know there is an auto scene switcher in OBS itself but it’s not as good at what I asked him to do. You can set triggers by screen regions, exe, window names, pretty much anything, set a priority for trigger recognition and set up automated switch sequences
I'm using all the plugins you just mentioned thank you and yes you should do this more often... now im sitting here like what other plugins are there and what do i not know about... lol
Yes!!!! More of these! I used to love using Ecamm Live because of some of the easy features, but after a while I just didn't have the money to pay year after year. Some of the functions here allow me to do some things I missed from the ecamm set-up and even extend the possibilities!!!!!! Thank you!!!!

Hey Harris, another great vid man thanks! Really like the bit at the end with the "where's waldo" idea. I can definitely think of a ton of cool applications for some of these and I think its amazing your not keeping these insider secrets to yourself. Appreciate the love! Peace and light.
