Spinal stenosis, a condition characterized by the narrowing of the bony structures of the spine, is a common ailment among older individuals. It often leads to a pinched nerve, causing aches and sharp pains in the lower back, buttocks, and legs. This condition affects about 15% of the retired population, typically starting in the late forties. However, with the right diet, lifestyle, and exercise, its symptoms can be significantly alleviated.
