  • We are often told that we should never do extension with someone who has Stenosis. But what does that really mean? Individuals with Stenosis do need extension, just not at the site of the narrowing. Join me to discuss how we can use movement to improve posture, comfort, strategies and yes extension.

It's always so nice to get clarity on pathologies like this as well as validation that one is on the right track when working with this population. Thank you Shelly. I find the counter rotation aspects of spine "twisting" the most useful as it is such a functional ADL

Really good as always, like Shelly said is really common special elderly people. I personally have stenosis level 4, and I still doing all movements, I just need to be respectful each day with my body, how I am feeling on the day. My favorite extension is using OOV, I really feel great!

I was part of this class with Shelly Power. Really incredible experience, precise, clear, serious and professional information in the face of this pathology.
Extremely interesting and productive for professionals in the Pilates area. 🙏
