    I have spinal stenosis. 69 years old. Thank you for your very professional, high quality advice. I did yoga in the past for many years. It is time to go back to it. I like your positive personality and energy. You are a “natural born healer”! 😊

    I have been doing yoga for many years and finding now with an a going body riddled with arthritis that my practice has been limited. This class was so helpful in showing me modifications I can do to continue with my practice. Thank you 🙏 😊

    Oh my dear! Soooo glad to have found your channel. I not only have been diagnosed with lumbar spinal stenosis, but I have been operated on for it, as well. However, although the surgery (minimally invasive with ultrasound wand, no metal buildup) helped somewhat, it didn't help as much as I would have liked. Now, I'm recovering from hip replacement surgery on one side, so currently not doing yoga, but I have done it (on and off) for about 30 years. You are the first PT I've known of who also practices yoga (YAY!), and I hope to be able to do some of your classes as soon as my PT advances my exercises more. Right now, I'm just doing basic post-op moves, but hope to be able to return to yoga, if only chair yoga, within another month. Wonderful to have found someone who understands! (I'm 76, by the way... and addicted to exercise!)

    Love your opening; I am a 73 year old woman who is tired of the girls at the gym needing a diagnosis in order to do something about the pain.. By the time I die, I will have had it all! Thank you for your emphasis on helping rather than diagnosing.

    I really enjoyed your video. Have a bit of spinal stenosis also herniated discs L4 and L5. I did not have a bolster so I used a sooth foam roller. Is that ok or should I get a bolster and where to buy it.......Thanks, Patricia

      Thanks for sharing! Absolutely okay to just use a soft foam roller - you might find that a poly foam cushion from a chair or sofa works even better.

    My MRI finding:
    There is grade 1 degenerative anterolisthesic of L4 relative to L5 and there is server bilateral facet arthopathy.
    Hypertrophic changes of the face joints contribute to server bilateral lateral recess stenosis and moderate central canal stenosis.
    There is uncovering of the intervertebral disc and moderate bilateral neural foraminal.
    Can I do this exercise? 🙏❤️ Pls help!

    Hello, Are standing forward bend, corba pose, arch bridge pose and straight leg raise/stretch all bad for spinal stenosis?

      Yes, to the extension-based poses you mention - cobra and bridge. Maybe, to forward bend and SLR stretch if you have sciatic nerve tension along with the stenosis.
