Join me as I spend 5 days on a luxury Icebreaking cruise ship, Le Commandant Charcot, as we head North to Iceland. I’ll show you exactly what it’s like onboard from our first class suite over two floors, the dining and facilities such as the spa & blue lagoon pool. This level of indulgence doesn’t come cheap though with prices north of $13,000 dollars, so let’s see if it’s really worth the money.

My question is on what do you do for getting home? As this is one way and the cruses some of my family have been on are return trips to.

You’ve now done 2/4 of the most unique purpose built ships, (this and Queen Mary) and I really hope you do the other 2! One is the Endeavour, originally built for Crystal, it’s now owned by Silverseas. It was designed specifically to cross the Drake Passage to Antarctica. The other is the Aranui 5; a half cargo half cruise ship that sails around French Polynesia! Very weird looking and unique.

I second the Antarctica cruise - I would absolutely LOVE to see him do that. I have mine booked two years from now because the cruise itself looks literally life-changing.
@@Trektrendy I would add the Nat Geo Endurance or Resolution. Operated by Lindblad and my personal opinion is that they have one of the best products in the cruise world.

What about Scenic eclipse
This is the first ship I have ever thought... "Yeah, I'd like to do that!" Stunning room, great amenities, and French inspired menus -- "How bad can that be?" (Ina Garten). Millie looked stunning and radiant as always. I think the cruising is much more entertaining than any rail trip. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit, and share with us.

I’ve been on this cruise before and it’s outstanding. One of, if not the greatest cruises I’ve ever been on. Despite being a somewhat decent sized ship (quite small by comparison), the level of entertainment was superb and the intimacy was quite noticeable. I met many a good friends on this ship, some of whom I’ve travelled with many times since. Excellent selection with this one TT, I’m so happy you’ve shown this off.
What activities do they have? It looks really sleek and nice but so far what activities do they offer?
I am not a traveller, I tend to just stay in Australia but I do enjoy vicariously living through you and your wonderful adventures! Thank you.
This was one of the most incredible cruise videos I've ever watched on RUclips. This voyage was outstanding! Please do the other cruise to the North Pole, it'd be absolutely insane to watch :)

Incredible video! Will is by far one of the best travel creators on here. Always appreciate your transparency on costs and what is/isn’t included. If you liked this, you should try Silver Origin in the Galapagos or Silver Endeavour in Antarctica.
Going in knowing that this is not the "usual" cruise to tropical places and warm sandy beaches, as long as you bring the appropriate clothing, this looks like a great cruise. I will dare say, having Millie with you while staying in that unprecedented, incredible room made it even more stunning. Always a pleasure seeing her with you on these "deluxe" trips. And the price for what you get really doesn't seem out of line. Would have been interesting to see a cruise ship breaking ice though. Maybe another time.

I am curious about the means by which Trek Trendy funds such extravagant trips. These journeys appear to be of considerable expense, and I wonder if RUclips compensates at such a level for video content or if you are simply blessed with abundant wealth, Trek Trendy? Regardless, I must express my admiration for your videos and find great enjoyment in watching them.
Not that it's necessarily anyone's business, but looking up the going rate for sponsored RUclips videos per 100k subscribers, and also for monetized RUclips videos, it's honestly not too hard to see how the business model works at his particular scale, given his transparency about costs and savings where applicable.

Wow love the wider aspects to the ship re science experiments etc. Lewis Hamilton & his Hollywood pals did something similar for new years on a trip to Antarctica earlier this year, always thought it was niche billionaires kinda holiday...or 'experience' as they'd say.

How do you remember everything so well that you put so much detail into your videos? I would love to see a behind the scens video someday showing us how you put it all together from finding the adventire, to fimming eveything and then taking notes and coming up with the monolog you put into the final prodiction. This cruise was fantastic! Made me wish I was there, and I have never wanted to go on a cruise. I like wintery weather, and your accomodations were beyond belief. Love when Millie can come, and it wouldn't be you without chocolate, caviar, champagne & a latte! I did see DC in the fridge. Can't wait for more!
