Today I’m taking the world’s most luxurious river cruise for 72 hours from Budapest to Vienna. This is the Riverside Mozart and I’ll show you exactly what it’s like onboard. From the sanctuary of the best room our owners suite to the various restaurants and facilities throughout the ship. As this is also one of the largest river going vessels this has a different feel to the traditional narrow river cruises, and is more comparable to a luxury sea going cruise in my opinion.

There's always room for truffles!!! As much as I love the ocean, I think I would much rather experience a river cruise than a regular cruise. That pop up bar on the roof was so cool, and the seating was quite pretty. I'd love to sit up there with a drink and watch the beautiful little European towns go by. I loved that smile on your Dad's face when he took that first sip of negroni. I'm so happy that you got to take him with you for this. I'm sure he absolutely loved it!
I live in north Alabama, 15 minutes from the Space Center. My dad retired from NASA. He started with the Saturn 5 rocket, and his last project was building the mock-up and designing the lighting on the habitat module of the ISS. I appreciate your nod to NASA in your videos.

What I like about river cruise is not really about the cruise itself, but rather the fact that employment on river cruise is a lot more reasonable comparing to cruise ship. Usually river cruise need to pay a reasonable and competitive wage in comparison to local area instead of high sea cruise, which exploit human resource as much as possible.

This is probably the first riverboat cruise I would ever consider. Some videos show the horror stories of riverboats docking side by side and having to cross through another bot to get on land. As was mentioned, with the wider beam you have a more stable and restful trip. Great food, amazing scenery, and wonderful to see your dad again. @@jimwilson2222 Yes, people with disabilities having to cross over one or two boats to make it to land so the can visit a city. Furthermore there have been problems with boats trying to leave port but they are trapped in because of other riverboats moored against them.
Really cool trip! Damn does it seem like there's barely any passengers though... a lot of the shots of the ship look deserted :( hopefully its just because of how new it is and the time of the year
I think the time of year defo does not help it, park season for river cruises tends to be further summer, when it’s just a little warmer. Also even for such a big river cruise, it won’t ever feel massively full, especially with so many different areas to dine, and relax in, compared to a normal cruise ship.
It’s because it’s an advertisement. The other people on board are probably travel writers.

As he said....brand new service. He's probably at the stage now where they are contacting HIM when they launch. This looked like the most opulent one he's done yet, though. Space in the rooms, and no timed showers.

I must say I am curious, as apparently others are as well, why the ship appears to be so empty? It is such a beautiful space and I would think that it might be a bit more fun if there are at least a few people around. Although having it all to yourself must feel like a private yacht.
It looks like this was a "rehearsal" cruise, where they go through a dry run of an actual cruise with just a few press on board. They do this in order to work out any kinks in service prior to hosting full-paying customers.

Mixture of a new cruise, the time of year (most peak season for river cruise tends to be warmer times in summer) and also river cruises tend to look emptier than your normal cruise ship

At 15k, not even including the airfare to get there I know this is a luxury treat I will never ever get to enjoy. Never knew something so awesome was even available. I almost wish I didn't watch this because isn't better not knowing than knowing when you know you won't ever have the opportunity? This was right down my alley. For a $15k boat cruise, I was surprised that every drink wasn't covered.
If someone like you goes on the cruise and sees a 10k bottle he will drink 3 per day, this is the reason.
My last neighbor (and friend) is the capitain on this ship and i have been here many times and its beautiful.

it is incredible to me that someone will pay 15K euro for this. You can literally visit those cities in one afternoon and eat in michelin star restaurant and sleep in best hotels for fraction of that cost.
