I have a pair of pants that I want 1940s cuffs. Do you have any tips?

For a cuff just make a plain hem that is longer then it needs to be by however many inches you want your cuff to be. So for a 2 in cuff make your hem go down 2 more inches. Then turn up the fabric like you’re cuffing your jeans and tack it!
