I have done a great deal of these. Frozen shredded and cubed potatoes dehydrate beautifully.
I have dehydrated shredded cabbage, greens, and quite a bit of onions, and some of many others. It's good of you to get the word out. I wish more people would take a little time to do these, or even just to realize what is going on.

Yes! 🙌 I have a whole shelf in my pantry dedicated to just shredded, cubed, and sliced dried potatoes. SO versatile!

Perfect timing … going through my freezer to see what can be dehydrated and have a few older bags of mixed veggies. Thank you!

Yay for freezer clean-outs! Love turning potentially perishable foods (in a power outage) into shelf-stables ones. 🙂

I have a vacuum chamber and can reuse post-consumer jars with their original metal lids to store dehydrated vegetables.

I’ve seen those. They look neat!

Those went from freezer to tray, correct? No thawing?

Great video prompt for me. Wife asked for an air fryer for Christmas. Got her one that is a multi use machine that claims to dehydrate as well. Going to give it a shot with frozen veggies.

Went well, but we have a smaller air fryer and the amount of time it took vs amount it produced, doesn’t make me think it’s worth it. The full tray produced about 3/4 of a pint jar which I promptly vacuum sealed.
