The SECOND I found out you can’t dynamically jump on command I lost all potential interest 🤷♂️🤷♂️ any cat owner knows cats get EVERYWHERE and are like weightless ninjas lol I don’t like button prompts disguised as gameplay
Finally, a BASED review of Stray. This Channel is Based, got that when I saw the DOOM Eternal review. AND Far Cry 4 is my favorite in the series just like you lol. Same Thoughts on Stray as well. The platforming sucks I think but the overall game is decent. Would like to see your thougths on games like Nier Automata, Classic Serious Sam, Souls series, Metal Gear series, Indie shooters like DUSK, Nightmare Reaper, and niche titles like Outer Wilds and The Talos Principle.
I enjoyed the game, but I have a little problem. The main character is a cat, and why it is necessary for the plot is not important. The game itself reminded me of Detroit 2018, which was also a good game without a good gameplay
Sorry for being 3 weeks late but I agree stray is decent at best , also I don't get why people like it , it's not really idk........ good? Ig? It's not for me is all ik btw I'm omegacrow3
Imagen this game done right. Sure there has to be some compromises and hard work put into it. But leaving the cat clueless ordinary cat had made the game so much better. Like we as the player should not even be able to understand the robots speaking. Like imagine basically the game staying the same but the player have no clue what the robots are saying. And clever well crafted main plot was done in a way to force a real cat to comply with the story progression. And the robots wanted the cat to do something and had to try and convince the cat to do something for them. Not by talking with them but pointing and convincing the cat by CAT reasoning. Petting. Food. Environmental reasons. As little HUD as possible. Having to explore and look around the world taking it all in to progress. As little puzzles and made up crap etc as possible. Leaving the player to play as a cat going around exploring and maybe even be hazarded by some of the robots and really being just a cat trying to get out of there. Only interacting with the story to progress when the cat really have nothing better to do. Like sure it might still be very strange for the cat to do some stuff but that is where the player have to desire to interact with the story to progress. Making the flying robot be the thing that actually leads the story and the cat is only there because it is a cat. And not the hero fantasy cat that understands what robots say. Like the focus being on just being a ordinary cat with as little BS as possible. And having hints in the game for the community to feast on and figure out the story. :c Like the small robot should be completely just the excuse for the plot and be completely reliant on this random ass cat that have no idea why it is doing stuff. Only wanting to be a cat and get out from that place. No made up BS. This concept is soo gooood but it needs to be very strict to keep the cat just being a dam cat. And have the environment and characters make the game work. Not a HUD and a cat that understands humans every word.
i think i will disagree with you in this . i think the game delivered exactly the promise of "a relaxing adventure with beautiful visuals and atmosphere".... similar to "Journey"
🐱

So this game got nominated for GOTY and not Sifu 🤦🏻♂️
Award shows are a scam.

Haha thanks. I will probably do MGSV & MGR Revengeance in the future
far cry 3 > far cry 4 but by literally the smallest margin IMO
@@koop7K How exactly? 4 pretty much does everything better in comparison.

It would've been better if it's a platform rage game
Haha wonder how that would play out
brilliant
Thanks 🤝

That's alright
Then watch a movie. This game has almost no gameplay lol
Its no game of the year...its a mediocore game at best if you are a middle aged woman that has 40 cats
What's this a pet show
Haha
