I know, I kept waiting for her to drop the bomb saying he did something awful. When she mentioned leaving because he wouldn't pay for the cheese, I was honestly in shock. She has no idea what a real bad date is!

True story many years ago I went on a date with a stunningly beautiful woman. We hit it off really well until the appetizers arrived. She complained about being "Jewed." Since I grew up in a Jewish community, and my step family is Jewish, I was blown away by this statement. I politely asked her to explain her statement, and she blew it off. I excused myself. I went to the waitress and overpaid for the dinner, tip, and any incidental she might add. On my way back to my apartment, I ran into a neighbour. He was an admitted white supremist. (I didn't like him) He asked me where my hot date was. I told him. I found out that he met her at the restaurant and they married 2 years later. I dodged a bullet.

I am an old fart. When I was growing up my dad told me when dining with a date never order something more expensive that they are ordering. It is just a polite way to not blow your date’s budget. My mom and dad always showed such amazing respect for one another. They both felt they hit the jackpot with their spouse. They were the best.
My parents taught me that when anyone else is paying, I should get something cheap. I usually find more than enough on the appetizer menu. Those portions can be HUGE!
The $3 Dollar Cheese Man story is EXACTLY why we can't believe everything we see on the internet. I'm glad to be a pure skeptic, and if I see something really good or interesting, I try to research what I can to make sure things are legit. A lot of times, if something seems too good to be true, it's because it probably is, lol. I admit I was sucked in by this story for sure 😂
what's wild is even tho charlotte included the ending, people are legit still on this vid commenting about how he dodged bullet... even tho it's clearly pointed out to be a false story ha. humans will be dummies no matter what.
Just like the recent one with the 70+ year old "pregnant" woman with a 19 year old "boyfriend". That was fake AF, but we got suckered anyway. It was a hoax, perpetrated by a 19 year old Tik Toker and his grandmother! Yuck.

Now that I think about it, it was weird that she said she'd finished her food and then went to pay for it and walked out, but in the video with the guy, he was holding a mostly unfinished burger.
The bar one... where I went to college it was illegal to drink in a bar underage but not illegal to be in a bar underage. The cops realized that raiding bars near the college was an easy way to rack up a ticket count. So basically, the police would show up and ticket everyone, but all you had to do was make sure not to insist on a sobriety/breathalyzer test. If they did not give you the test at the time of the ticket, you could take a hearing and argue there was no evidence of you breaking the law - the charge would almost always be dropped.
Agree do not at any point take a field sobriety test, ask for breathalyzer and then fight the fact that portable breathalyzer are illegal and the only one they can use in a court of law in the one you take at the station
Our police only checks for -18 youths in cafés during school hours, when they are supposed to be in school. As drinking age (for beers and wines) is 16 and being in a café isn't illegal at any age.

CLEARING THE BAR:
Can’t speak for the entire country (USA), but where I live (admittedly this happened over 25 years ago) when the ATF came in to test a bar, EVERYONE had to go outside & rechecked ID’s as everyone came back inside. Both times I happened to be in the bar they checked, the owner announced ( before everyone was ushered outside) that anyone who would be so gracious as to come back inside (adding PLEASE PLEASE) would revive a free drink of their choice, & he thanked us all for our continued patronage.; Classy guy.
The last one with the very swollen post-crying face. Was literally my face the morning after giving birth to my son, after 48 hours of labor and lots of IV fluids. I’m so sorry for whatever happened to this woman to make her cry to swell up like that.
8:45 First thing I thought of when I saw that video was that she was probably concerned. Seeing someone out in the middle of no where crying, she probably thought op might hurt herself or something.
Maybe, but if she was that concerned, why not get out of the car, go over and talk to the woman, and say, "I see you are crying, are you okay?" At worst, she may get yelled at or told to mind her business, at best, she may be able to comfort or help the person. But to sit there and just stare at her is downright creepy.
I just figured she was on someone's land but thought it was ok to be there. Happens all the time in Minnesota/wi😊

As someone who went to college in a small town in the U.S. this is totally normal. Some of these bars wouldn't make any money otherwise, so the cops don't do always do busts. But, when they do you'll see more than half the bar scatter like cockroaches after someone flicks on a light 😂
I felt so bad for the mom, so I looked it up. Luckily it looks like there ARE ways to remove spray paint from vinyl.
"Is the only way to go viral to lie?" Yes!! Think about it, why are reality TV shows so popular? Because it's all fake. Before I saw the reveal that the branzino girl and burger guy made up the whole thing, I actually wondered about the kind of hit her online dating pages took.

When we went up to Boston for my Harvard interview, my parents started fighting in the car and my Mom got out at a light and ran away (this before my interview, as if I wasn’t nervous enough). Got accepted though 👍

Puffy eyes after crying are not an allergic reaction. It's just that when we cry a lot afterwards, the body tries to reabsorb the liquid, and it's retained in that area, so it appears puffy.

Back when I could afford to go out to eat, I used to carry miniature bottles of our favorite hot sauce and my own homemade seasoning I made by dehydrating jalapeno peppers and grinding it into powder. I used to buy it in stores where I used to live, but it's very easy to make, it's called Texas Gunpowder.
I like it hot and spicy, but it would probably have hurt the chef's feelings if they saw me using extra seasonings I smuggled in my purse.
So the wild thing is, first woman's entrance had me emotionally invested!! I'm like "oh no what happened?" Turns out those are the tears of the MORE than privileged.
My eyes swell up like that for me, too, when I cry. It kinda depends as more guaranteed to swell with a huge cry sesh versus a small/in the showe one. It sucks but it only lasts maybe a day at most. I haven't really investigated why it happens. I feel for this girl.
Oh man, me too. If I cry before I fall asleep, it will be extremely obvious for several hours the next day.
It happens bc your tear glands swell once you stop crying, and any leftover tears cause the space around your eyes to swell. Smth along those lines - a cool compress after crying helps reduce the swelling.
Yeah when I cry myself to sleep I wake up to swollen lids. Most of it goes away after a few hours
I get that, too. I hate it. The skin is so translucent and sore until it goes back to normal.

Talking about rich people not liking to spend their money, reminded me, of a family friend. She got talking to this elderly man at the bus stop and in her words ‘his clothes had most definitely seen better days & he looked as if, he could do with a decent meal’ Fast forward & any clothes, my husband didn’t want, she took round to the gentleman. She’d quite often take him a home cooked meal etc etc. When he died, there was an article in the local newspaper, that included the fact he’d left almost 5 million pounds 💞

It’s funny how people who have money will usually use coupons but some people just hate them. I met a guy online and he suggested a local burger place for our first date. Great, but I knew that I had a coupon and didn’t know what category that he was in. When it came time to pay it was a buy one get one free coupon and I offered it and he quickly accepted it. We have been married 7 years now.
My Uncle Dickel invented the valve that makes hot and cold running water come out of the same faucet. He was incredibly wealthy. His business was in LA, but my aunt was "allergic" to the sun, so he built her a house in the hills above Carmel-by-the-Sea.
He bought a new car every year, but he wore suits he'd had since the 1960's, even to my wedding.
He was awesome.

I have cried so hard one night a few years back that my eyes almost looked as puffy as that ladies and I remember waking up in the morning and trying to take ice cubes and rub them on my under eyes in hopes that it would go away, and I literally just called in sick, because makeup would not cover it. I was so puffed up.

I have infact cried that hard. Fluid retention in the eyelids leaves them looking like little hot dogs. Its great.
My eyes did the same thing when my aunt passed away and I cried for days. I also threw up a log. She raised me so it was like losing the only mother that I truly had. She taught me to drive and helped me get into college. Her death was out of no where to so I didn't expect it.
You’re totally correct about people with money. My parents (not me) are well off. They make their own cold coffee instead off hitting Starbucks. They don’t spend their money on everything. They plan and budget. Wish I was more like them. ❤

I’m single and live in one of the most expensive cities in Canada. I save money where I can, but I will never be in the same position as them. If I could go back in time, maybe things would be similar, but that is not reality.

In a college town in the US, a bar being full of underage kids is very normal. We have cops that go in just to ticket and check, but I knew like 5 people that could make you a real looking fake ID. It pays to be friends with people in the arts departments of your college. It's the time between 18 and 21 that my friends racked those us. I worked a donut shop on the same street with 7 bars. I got so many drunk tips.

That vinyl spray is for like used car dealerships so they can make old interior look sort of new again once they clean it out, and do what they're going to do. When I used to work for Chrysler we had something similar for the carpets after we would clean them with a steam cleaner.
At 10:03 it is very relatable because I was cooking dinner and I was doing like 2 hours of prep work cuz I had to cut a lot of stuff and just as I was starting to cook my dad decides to come in and start cooking soup at the same time and then my mom came and they just started arguing over something and I said “it was so quiet when it was only me in here and as soon as you 2 came it got loud”
Watching Charlotte put the world to rights help's me get through the work day without ripping heads off 😁

The Vinyl spray situation is something my mom would do. My mother has used my Olaplex conditioner as if it were hand soap! Olaplex is expensive! 🤦♀️😭She also opens bags of chips upside down. Like how do you not notice the label/packaging!
I think the worst thing about the first video... is that it was so actually something we expected from someone, that we have gotten to the point thinking "yeah, that seems like something someone would actually do" we never thought about how real something was. I started to think something was up when I saw the dude, eating the supposed same burger, making a response, like did the guy happen to find it immediately after leaving, taking the burger to go in his hand, only to post it soon after? But even then I was so ready to believe she was that shallow over a piece of cheese, I hushed the warning alarms.
I have absolutely cried that hard. They say tomorrow will be kinder, just after a tear tsunami like that you’ll have a hard time seeing it for yourself 😅😂
I was thinking everyone was underage at the bar, then it came to me as semi brilliant. If everyone walks out in solidarity, no one can get in trouble.

So we did a family vacation to Florida....in the summer to go to Universal Studios, and Disneyworld. Our first mistake was Florida in July. Our kids argued and fought the whole time unless we were on a ride. We were all hot, cranky, and suffering and for some strange reason we all want to go again LOL. Needless to say when we got home my hubby and I cracked open some well deserved beers.

I read that one about the cheese before. It made me laugh because I'm kind of cheap like that. $3 for a slice of cheese. I would pass on it as well!!! But I don't think bad about people who are willing to pay it. In fact, I don't think about it at all!!
The only way I could see that being an issue, is if she wanted to add the cheese and he told her no. Then that's a problem.
I have family that lives out in the country like that and if they saw someone they didn't know pulled over to the side of the road they would stop and make sure they were okay. Didn't need the car help or a tire changed or something and they wouldn't leave until they knew you were okay. So I don't think she's the lazy to do it anything wrong. She's just checking on her.

A quick "Are you okay? Can I get someone to help?" would be sufficient. You don't need to sit there and stare.
I'm not a mother, but I am a nurturer. I have stepped in when I see someone in a bad place multiple times. But if you approach tactfully and they say no, insisting after that is pointless and rude. Sitting there staring at someone is neither helpful or tactful.
I think a quick asking a question would be better. Staring and honking and not signaling properly is so creepy, if I were the girl crying I would how drived off. 😂

in mom's defense.. the picture and the fact it says, "vinyl spray" does make it seem like cleaner, not paint... I always check thing before I buy them and I probably wouldn't have caught that either...

Checking on someone is fine, but just sitting there and staring at them is a bit unsettling. The lady could have waved, or called out to her, or something to signal she was concerned for her well being.
@@KydeDrakes I kind of got the impression that the crying gal wasn't acknowledging the lady's presence except for pointing her camera at her, which made the situation weirder. I suspect the video leaves out a lot of context.

It was just announced yesterday that the president of the largest grocery chain in Canada (Loblaws/No Frills) got a $1.2M raise. 😭 I feel so bitter having to pay higher prices for staples, like milk, bread, eggs to fund his raise! At least I can afford it, but not everyone can.

The story about the bar and all the underage drinkers. Lol. They all left WITHOUT their cards. So bartender could settle everyone up and wait for the cops to come get all those ID’s. Bars where I live will ask if you wanna keep a tab open for the night, if you say yes, they keep your card and settle at the end of the night, or when you want to leave. I would think at least half, if not more, had an open tab. Lmao.

Yeah, that first story, he wasn’t being cheap, the burger was already expensive and I figured it would be. But hey, he can’t say she was being entitled to leave and him paying.
The woman watching the girl have a good cry, reminds me of an Annabelle doll that was left out in the yard for 5 years. You know like when the paint starts chipping off and cracking and the whole thing looks rather rag tag. Yup thats what she reminds me of.
Every time I cry right before bedtime I wake up looking just as puffy-eyed as that last woman.
