I love having the relationship I have with my husband. We are both weird & love to play around and laugh. We are also comfortable with physical affection and make sure our daughter sees all of it to hopefully help her grow up & find a partner eventually.
Growing up and to today my parents are not physical with each other. And they don't joke around and have fun together. But thankfully my inlaws are and raised my husband to be like them. My dad doesn't like being around them bc they goof off. He's not around my husband and I to see we are just the same.
I will take humor and love every day all day.

I love that Mike is sending you the most out of pocket shit. The cat one was really cute. That could be a sign that that cat was separated from it's mama too soon. It's a self soothing response to separation anxiety.

I'm currently fostering a litter of kittens whose mama's milk dried up when they were like, three weeks old. One of them needs to suckle any time she is feeling safe and comfy and loved. Blankets, sweaters, my dog...she doesn't care, and she will suck on it! So far her brothers don't, but they have their own issues...
Exactly what I was thinking. I've owned many cats in my lifetime and the ones who did that were rescues who were abandoned by their mom too soon. Though sometimes cats can just do weird things to like an 8 week old female kitten I brought home a long time ago. I already had a male cat who was fixed. I was worried about him not getting along with the kitten but instead he cleaned the kitten, the kitten tried nursing and he laid down. He even made milk eventually and he nursed her past the point of her having her own kittens which she ironically didn't make milk for. No other cat was allowed by his belly area. I also know for a fact that he was a he. He was actually neutered so no question about it. This was almost 2 decades ago but he remains one of my favorite cats I ever had. I could also put a cockateil on his back and walk away and he could be left alone all day with free roaming cockateils but he would hunt down and kill any other bird including parakeets, pigeons and anything else he could catch. I miss that cat, how name was Benjamin and the kitten that nursed from him was named baby girl
@@EdieBird I don’t think letting them nurse on fuzzy fabric is a good idea since they could ingest the fabric and threads that come off and it may cause problems.
@@dio6586 this is probably true. But in my experience, once they decide to latch onto a specific item, there is no way to break their focus until they decide to fixate on something else. (which was very upsetting for the dog when she was the target of their fixation, fortunately she is VERY patient and gentle with cats)
@@EdieBird Yeah I understand that but the goal is to break them of this habit so they don't bring it into adulthood. When my cat was a kitten his fixation was suckling on my fingers.

I like it that when I started watching Char’s videos she was single then and was telling stories about her dating life but now she’s very happy with Mike and the gagging memes (for sure) and we’re here for it

I've rescued animals for over 40 years. You're right, Charlotte, the cat's trying to nurse on her neck. My current youngest was found with her sister near their mother's body when they were only four weeks old. She "nurses" on fabric, like my shirt collar or a blanket over my lap. It's kind of sad because they never get over the nurturing deficit.
I currently have a six year old rescue from a feral mom. He was just barely weaned and tiny, he would nurse on the tip of my thumb.
Edit: I think he did get over it. He's the most sassy cat ever and spoiled af (my fault, he was max cute and I hadn't lived with a small kitten for far too long. Talk about a thirst trap).
My dog does this... but I'm still glad we got her at 6wks instead of 8 because she was infested with worms..

Could you have an answer as to why do they do this if they have been nursed properly? My cat stayed with his mom for moths but it seems as it still isnt enough, of course we let him do it because he feels comfortable but i just find it strange.
@Jaseeka Rawr I personally am not a victim of major childhood trauma but work in Healthcare - man, the stories. If you get the chance I do recommend the book "the body keeps the score". I personally believe the gospel gives hope to broken people because it's truth coming from beyond pathetic humanity - not everyone shares that sentiment and I see enough broken hopelessness everyday to know without a doubt nothing else lifts such crushed souls.
I had surgery and could only lie on my back to sleep. As I drifted off, a noise woke me up. It took me three times to realize I was snoring, and it was waking me up. I love the one with the singing dog and the one saying, "Shut up."
I appreciate his humour greatly. Nothing weird about it. He has good taste.

The fact that you think that they do colonoscopies without anesthesia is quite telling! They would not attempt to do a colonoscopy on someone without any form of sedation! That's pretty wild! They don't put you to sleep, like an actual surgery. They give you meds that just wayyy fuck you up!! Obviously, because you allow people to root around in your butthole! It's hilarious when they're on the meds after the procedure. Plus, she gets to joke around with her husband that people were exploring his asshole! That's the best lol
@@user-ms1ie3jn1l He was under but it was even more hysterical because he was so out of it upon waking up and passing gas like a champ! I was rating them, the nurses thought we were a hoot and were laughing with us. Even the dr. was chuckling. I recorded it and the ridiculous things he was saying! Need to plug my iPad into the telly on Christmas! 🤣🤣🤣

As a kid, we had a stray cat show up and she was very sweet, but every time you picked her up she'd suck on your earlobe like she was nursing. Was a great laugh when company came over and picked up the cat!
As someone who has a sensitive gag reflex, I really regret watching this video while eating breakfast. It was the peppers in the nose while the dude was on the toilet that got me. I couldn't stop dry heaving for nearly 5 minutes. Thanks Charlotte 💖

My cat started suckling like that when he was a few weeks old, he always went for the inner elbow. He’s 5 years old and still does it occasionally. It’s not as intense as that lady’s, used to when he was a kitten tho. Now he basically just drools on my arm for a few minutes then leaves me all alone and sad 😂😂

Agreed!! OMG, I have no idea what I was thinking when I was in other relationships before I met my husband! I was so prim and proper and cute.... but when I met him, it was like a magical moment of our 'weird' sides clicking! Like he likes to say, our 'weird' matches! We got engaged 6 months after meeting on a forced blind date and married a year after.... And we are our weirdest around each other! Been married 8yrs now and we've done some strange shit around each other... Most of which I won't be able to explain to anyone else without sounding insane!

We had a cat that was a rescue about 48 years ago, he nursed on my mom's leather and fur purse. It had like 10 squares of different fur, he only nursed on 9ne of them and only until all the fur on that square was gone. Memories are so fun. Thank you Mike, and Charlotte. Yes, the comfort nursing is not uncommon although most cats do it on a toy or blankie. It can be in any cat but is most often seen in rescue kittens who were fostered instead of raised by their mom, or in kittens taken away from Mom and sold too early. 12 weeks is typically the minimum recommended age. One of my cats will bring a toy to bed and suckle it while kneading on my chest, loudly purring the whole time.
I rescued a kitten from a goat barn a few years ago and he ate all right, despite being not quite old enough to be weaned. I gave him supplemental bottles now and then to ensure he was well nourished and had him checked and wormed, etc. When the vet checked him and I told him about this sucking habit, he explained it. It was just what I'd suspected as a mom. He was weaned early, but still craved that comfort from Mama. These little kitties are SUPER attached and very loving as well as verbal. What a sweet memory!

i just came here to write similar thing, i rescued a kitten last year from a dumpster, after i found out that his mother was killed by a car, and i gave him supplemental bottle as well but every night before he would go to sleep, hed come to me and suck my neck or my arm whatever piece of skin he finds first lol
Lol mine too. I gave him away to a girl who is absolutely anamored with him. I wanted to keep him so badly but this girl was a budding cat mama and this would be her first. My boss still sends me pictures of him. He's gotten so big!
Matrix suckled his toes until he started putting on fat. He looked fully grown at 9mos and was still suckling past two years. Originally, he could do it by himself, then lent against me, then I supported him and finally he and I couldn't maintain his balance to get to the precise toe-sies.
I never got the butthole heartbeat from coffee, but I once was at a concert and for some reason, this particular one was making my butthole vibrate to the point it literally felt like it was going to fall off. I've been to a lot of loud concerts, so IDK why this one was different, but yeah, that's the story of how I almost lost my butthole.

Dude, we have entire lengthy conversations about exceptionally good/bad poops! We actually rate our meals on the basis of how good/bad the poops will be!

A few winters ago I accidentally pavlov’d myself into gagging when it was cold, because my birth control I had started was making me feel nauseous for a while and the only time I allowed myself to gag or retch was when I’d go outside into the freezing winter air. So for the rest of the winter even if I wasn’t nauseous I would immediately gag as soon as I walked outside into the cold.

Yeah, my cat Simon did that with my earlobe! I had an apartment manager who pressured me into taking one of her kittens & it was way too early. But we spent 16 happy yrs together, me & that sweet sweet kitty.. (plus Ruby the cat, Roxy & Brody the puppers). Brody, (black & white) Havanese, who I adopted when he was 3, was the last of my crew to leave this Earth this past 8/30 & I’m sad without him.. for 14 yrs, he was my friend 😭 💔 🐼.

Young cats or kittens sometimes do that because they get comfort and consider you their mom. Especially if taken away too soon. I had one that did that. I found it across the street from a busy bar and ran it into a corner . As soon as I picked it up it went straight to my throat and snuggled . We named him Mugger. Lol.

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only person who has a cat that tries to nurse on them. My cat will literally wake me up two and three times a night to find a spot on my pants to nurse. It is the most annoying yet sweetest thing in the world.

My childhood cat sucked on my ear lobe her whole life. My mom rescued her from a parking lot where she was abandoned super young, so she didn't get to finish weaning off her mom's teets, so she never phased out of the kitten phase for some reason. She lived to be 16 years old and she was a forever kitten
