Honestly, for the most part the 50+ voicememos where much more appealing because they were just honest and sincere and they didn't try so Hard. Now if the younger generations did that and stopped being weird, I would find their profiles from what I saw now, a lot more relatable 😂
Omg my heart melted when you said "answering machine" instead of voicemail! So nostalgic! Brought me right back to getting home from school and running to check my answering machine on my own purple see through landline phone in my room while Hilary Duff is jamming in the background and waiting for my friends to aol message me! ❤❤

I literally lived on half a bagel for 6 years of my life. When i met my husband he took me for a Turkish breakfast- which if you’re not familiar- they place an entire table full of little bowls with salad, olives, cheese, jam, also two kinds of eggs and like 6 different pastries. I think it was the first time in my life i ate. I ended up gaining 10 kgs and finally had a normal body weight for the first time.
Imagine if he cracked his knuckle at the end of the voice note 😂 woulda just really sold it
I want to know how he discovered this "talent", and why he would want to do it. Wouldn't that scare a woman away? I would be afraid it would snap, crackle, and pop during the deed.

Yeah, I was thinking he meant that going on a lunch/dinner date is basically obligating you to eat at least a second meal in a day. Having a person who eats more than one meal a day is a great reminder of what hour lunch and dinner are typically had.
I’m in love with Matthew Goode’s voice. I heard him reading the first chapter of Wind in the Willows and I melted. He could read me anything.
I'm so glad I'm engaged now. Dating was fun but oh my god it could suck. The second a guy started talking about beta and alpha males or telling me things about my appearance I needed to change to please him I peaced out! And the amount of guys who had an automatic expectation for sex after a first date was just insane.
I have to say at the gym when guys try and come up to me, or pick the treadmill right next to mine even though all the other treadmills are open I just flash my hairy armpits. I use the same strategy for bros at the beach. My brother calls it broepellent. It's 97% effective.

At 57 I met the cutest young man who helped me with my yard. Five years later he still is taking care of my yard, and the rest of me. It is wild and crazy how wonderful this relationship.
He is 25 years my junior. At first I was embarrassed 😳. But he never was... he insisted that we go out together. We have each other's backs. And he has his own money. And is super kind and very good looking.
I ain't half bad either.
He is younger than some of my kids......
So just know that there is still magic in the world.

I believe Hugh Jackman is married to a much older woman as well, and has been for decades, so May/December relationships with the woman being the older one do work out. Clearly, he saw more than half bad in you, so it's ok to say you're still a hottie. I prefer men older than me, but you're giving me hope that maybe I, too, can find someone someday. Don't know if it's that time of the month, but to me he sounded like someone so genuine and kindhearted who has been hurt before and just honestly recorded the first thing that came to mind without frills. 🥺
I understand that the tone could've been unsettling for some, but to me - maybe because I'm more used to British accents - he sounded like a babe 🥺💕 it felt kinda nasty to listen to him from someone who recorded him without him knowing!

It made me very uncomfortable and I didn't feel sorry for him. I don't feel sorry for anyone who's over 50 and hasn't found love. If you're over 50 and still single, you're not trying hard enough. This comedian Bob Smiley whose wife left him and after a while started dating again, he told a joke about his girlfriend whom he's now married to, "She does this really sweet thing where she doesn't cheat on me." Reminds me of that.
I had him pegged as from the central/north Scotland, but could be wrong. I could almost write a whole novel based on my impressions...poor thing, struggling on his hill farm and wife lied and took every cent and now he eats just herring and potatoes in order to keep the cows fed. I recognize different barks: (hear me out) there's the high pitched, they're hurt bark/yelp, there's the mid pitch playful bark when they're riled up, and the deeper growl bark when trying to intimidate a perceived threat... there's also the whimper, and vocalization with pitch drop when they want love or sustenance
My dog chatters his teeth when he wants treats/food.

It's getting close to Thanksgiving so I bet we will hear Charlotte's turkey laugh more and more.
Except we (Charlotte and myself) are in Canada. Our Thanksgiving was in October (the second Monday in October to be exact). She may do more gobbles for her American viewers closer to the end of November but then she may not since it's not our turkey time.

So to the bagel comment - my gal pals and I have actually discussed this pretty heavily. I don't know about for anybody else, but for me whenever I was growing up, I had a weird relationship with food. My mom would only tell me to eat certain things and eat a certain way, while my dad was the type of person to try to tell me to eat everything on my plate. I feel like majority of girls are told to portion control and eat certain things, to look a certain way, to be able to look & progress in life how society thinks they should. Meanwhile men are told that ""growing boys have to eat""", and they can clean the fridge out, because that's what is expected of them. Just my 2 cents on the matter

Many moons ago I used to live with my sister and brother in law. My BIL worked with a guy named Mike who had the Most Amazing deep voice 😍 I always loved hearing it when he called. But then I met him in person 😔😟😯
