I just would like to say that I had THEE most AMAZING trainer EVER! I will FOREVER be GRATEFUL and if it sounded like I was talking over her, I was! lol I was really excited and I wanted to make sure I was engaging and soaking in ALL of the information! She explained EVERYTHING in DETAIL, and was very patient. The EV was a lot easier than I anticipated, and I felt very comfortable driving it. I hope she was able to answer ANY questions you may have regarding the EV.

🔥🔥🔥you did so well, good luck 🔥🔥well deserved
The camera button is to record video if needed.
If you have a small food you want to keep warm, that vent in front of the center shelf is useful.
Ayeee! Have fun!
The camera button is for drivers to shut cameras off when peeing in bottles….
I don't care if it sets me back in won't pee in a bottle. I go to a gas station. If DSP drivers would actually say something maybe Amazon will crack down on us being over worked to the point we can't take our breaks

@@mazda3mikeeven union drivers do that. It comes with working outside.
Lol, facts.
😂
I am so glad you are posting this! Our DSP stated last month that they we're working on getting all EDV's. So this will def be helpful. Course all you're vids are and I thank you!
Thank you so much!🙌🏾

Thank you Beauty!! You ask all the right things and allow the trainer to speak...THANK YOU!! May The Most High keep you safe, in HIS protections and favor, Always!!
Thank you SOOOO much!🙌🏾
Cool van. Not a fan of the braking or mirror control though.
I know these are not recent videos but thank u for making them… I am waiting for my start date and your content has made me “less” nervous. And I’m in KC 😂😊 #ChiefsKingdom baby
I like that last question on the weight capacity. But that 9 and 12 grip to drive straight is wild. Thank you. Training should allow an option to watch videos like these in a room.
I wish but with my Canadian winter it have like half of range what I need :D Cause my DSP doing city next to mine what have no warehouse so I am doing 350km daily :D and battery is not great with cold :P But I am happy for you, I hope you will like it and It must be nice to have brand new fresh car when you care about it :P
Finally laid my eyes on one yesterday. Our station has only 1 because they're getting ready for more. The big issue with these is they say we need to turn them in at 25% capacity or else we will get stuck out in the field more than likely which means it's very unlikely you'll finish bigger routes UNLESS they have something in mind to return to the station, exchange for another EV, and keep going. That would EAT into time though so overall, it's a cool concept but this is gonna affect Amazon's metrics of 2 day deliveries big time and it will not be the fault of any DSP owner. The battery life just isn't there yet for reliability.
the flip feature for that button...awesome, accidentally just standing up my head would press it...usually having to listen to it while delivering...got so annoying
Been in mine for a little over a month now. I like almost everything about the EV's. Manipulating the routing is so much easier in the EV's on screen compared to using the app. I usually like to grab my next package before leaving from the previous stop so it's ready but opening the cargo door adds extra time. The low stereo volume also is a bit annoying because I like to get a groove going when delivering. The driver's side wiper is placed pretty annoyingly too. Other than that, smooth ride!
On average, how many total pkgs are you delivering? Are you given more totes since they’re able to fit comfortably now?

That's a nice coal powered rig right there! 😉 I like the thought they put into them for the driver. Interested to see how it goes! I saw one in the Portland metro area about a week ago.
Only a range of 150 miles and the delivery station I was at was 45 miles from our delivery area. Cutting it pretty close but Amazon corporate never thinks anything through.
@@fpshobbs 😄
@UBSleepin Gaming I am wondering if the DSP or Amazon is going to be replacing the 20,000 dollar battery when it goes out. If you are wondering DSP is delivery service partner and are third party companies Amazon uses to do delivery. All drivers are subcontracted. I know for certain the dsp cannot afford to be replacing thise batteries most of them are about broke.
I can’t wait to have the new vans at our dispatch. Looks like be easier to drive

🤯It's a Rivian!😈
For training, is it just driving or do you have to pass a question based exam as well?
Both
Its a shame that those vans will get mess up in the 1st week the drivers drive them. I wish they make a step van version of this. I'll go back to my old DSP and drive again lol.
Why these have more then enough room
Holly Crap! That is one decked out Amazon Van! ..................................... We are so far behind..... 😐 Desperately need van updating..... 😑
Hi, I have a question, I’m supposed to start my training, do you think I’ll be able to pay my bills with this job and is it worth it? I see a lot of bad reviews 😢I hope you respond back I’m going thru so many funny feelings about this.
Amazon training all of the drivers on these vans but don’t even have them what’s the point most people quit amazon with in a couple months
She don’t know how many packages it can store cuz she never had to do it lol dope van
😂🤣
Exactly. Like more driver trainers. Never been out and delivered one package.
My first day was yesterday they gave me 218 packages😥 I get rescue by a teammate. After, I feel pain everywhere, my feet, my back. Its like I just work out😥.
It’s literally a 8-10 hr workout 😩
@@amazondeliverydriver oh gosh. Do you think a 55yo lady who is not in shape can do this job ?
@@amethystorgan4293 absolutely you can
You’re just lazy
The lower mirror isnt automatic? Even on the RAM sprinters have all mirrors automatic
Unfortunately no
Might be a huge design flaw.
I don't know why just watching this made me feel nervous. The idea of coming off of the gas to stop, if you're behind someone and need to come to a stop, its like you have to time it perfectly. I believe the driver that had the van before you was supposed to clean up their mess, those cups and other trash items shouldn't of been in that van. I'm surprised the trainer didn't tell you that.

I work at the Sussex Wisconsin DSP and we are treated like the butt hole of Amazon….we will maybe see a van like this in five years…..we have the lowest wage in Wisconsin ($17.25)but have to deliver in high crime areas of Milwaukee.
Jim where the hell have you been? Lol
You are making over double the minimum wage in your state. How are you the lowest wage? I wish I was making over double the minimum wage in my state.
Yeah them vans ain’t everywhere that’s nice

I thought the driving test was just in the parking lot.. now im nervous
It's not bad at all. They just had me drive 10 minutes down the road and come back

7:57 I thought she was going to start singing
🤣🤣🤣🤣
143 mile charge? I routinely average 125 and up to 190 in a shift.
You drive 125-190 miles per day? U take the scenic route or sum?
I wonder how long these vans will last this good
My theory is a few years
I have my training this Saturday
I wonder if Amazon or DSP will replace the 20,000 dollar battery when it goes out
Looks great...until the disgusting, degenerate coworkers trash it
Don’t forget breaking stuff/ hitting stuff and not owning up to it
@@Awalk05 bro, every one of our vans are damaged, most heavily. Customer recently asked if the damage to the van i was driving was from the recent snow storm we had....i just 🤣🤣🤣
What’s Amazon going to do with the old vans?
Keep them?
Unbrand them and sell. But I wouldn't buy one if it was free knowing how bad they get treated and are not maintained.
@fpshobbs my dsp maintains them very well, he takes it very seriously and have very low mileage
The break built in with the pedal has to be the most dumbass thing ever invented
No seat belt? 🤔
I had my seat belt on lol
🎊 *promosm*
18 in a 10 at 15:30 smh
And they are still supplying those useless red carts 🤣🤦🏾♂️
The Milwaukee is definitely alot nicer than the others but yeah I've never actually had to use it
@@ddennis2430 ive literally used it once when a customer had a long driveway and a ton of pkgs...rattled like a paint can, wheels get stuck on everything...might as well make 2 trips
@@nunyabinness3574 alot of our carts have broken wheels that won't open up. And those jenky carts arent big enough to carry anything. I was tempted to bring in my own dolly from home when I started
@@ddennis2430 i supply a lot of my own gear...headlamp, charging brick and cable, extra phone mount, etc....
This process probably went quicker if you didnt HAVE TO add your 2 cents after everything the trainer said!
Who gives a fuck
You're not serious. That's part of the learning process.
lowkey if i was the trainer i would have gotten UPSET💀
quiet
Bro if you speak english well and have an experience driving half of year + you 100% will pass
