    After 3 weeks critical tips i got is.
    1. Cross reference addresses box numbers names
    2. At group stops make sure you got every package for each house. You want to make sure there all there and you dont mix them up
    Other than that pretty easy. Nitpicking tips i got.
    1. Put the keys in your pocket and leave them there if possible. Its easy to leave them on accident.

    Those white vans have ZERO shelves. Please also tell folks that when they do rescue, they have to scan everything in the bag(s) that they are taking and MAKE SURE TO CHECK the overflows to see if they go with their bag(s). VERY IMPORTANT ❗️👍

    • @TheRealTommyShelby

      You do not have to scan everything in the bag. Just scan the QR code. At least we do that at my DSP

      Using the shelves is a waste of space

    • @straightcash5270
      @straightcash5270 Год назад +5

      The shelves are good for ppl who are new. Once u done this a little the shelves don’t really make a big deal. Only plus is the lights in the back some of the rentals don’t have lights so when it get dark it annoying. Also u can scan bag on rescue don’t gotta scan everything as long as the person didn’t mix up any packages in the bag.

    The RAM leased vans tend to be shorter in length and have a better turning radius. That works much better on rural forested routes like we have here in Washington. While they don't have shelves, they are much easier to navigate going down narrow and long private driveways with little room to turn around. Also, the Rams have front-wheel drive which handles better in the rain, mud, and snow. The Ford Transits are single-wheel, rear-drive (passenger side) which is absolutely lousy if you get the passenger rear wheel into mud or snow. You will easily get the van stuck. It's such a problem here that our vans actually have snow chains in them along with shovels and tow straps. These come in handy, especially after running a route yesterday during an ice storm. Both the chains and the shovel came in handy. Be safe DAs!

    • @kennethbenson7259

      These Amazon driving jobs I’ve already did one this guys make it look too easy in the video. Yeah they give you 215 minute breaks in a mandatory 30 minute lunch break but they don’t really want you taking the 15 minute breaks you can take them if you want but it’s looked down upon. They load your vans specially if you get in Vegas I live in Los Angeles if you live in a big city they pack your van hard. And this guy was bullshitting in the video. You can’t walk slow like that they want you power walking in and out if you’re at a location longer than 20 seconds they call you and tell you is there any barriers in your way

    • @theuncensoredaboriginal
      @theuncensoredaboriginal 5 месяцев назад

      If u take your breaks expect to be fired. They don't want you to take breaks and will lie and say they are factored into your route but the math doesn't add up. No other company operates like this from my experience but from what I know they do this on purpose because they always expect new hires. Which is idiotic but Amazon is the McDonald's of same day delivery. Eventually they will try yo phase out drivers and use self driving or drones...

      @@straightcash5270 yeah that's crazy ultimately I feel like depending on the DSP groups if they have enough workers they only give out so many hours. So my team has 55 workers or so, somewhere around 50. And like you said, they give more hours to better drivers. My mentor score ieant that low, it's at 820 right now. But here's the thing. The job requires alot of turning around going down one street or area and then coming back to the same area 2 hr later. Also my DSP managers are always telling us we're gonna get shut down cause fools keep leaving key in ignition. I don't like this kinda if job too much pressure

    I worked for Amazon in the uk worst company ever 150 plus deliveries per day minimum plus you get on average 50-60 locations which means you’re actually doing over 200 drops per day. You don’t get time for toilet breaks never mind proper breaks they treat drivers like shit.

      People with a masters degree do not have time to search or watch an amazon video; that in no way shape or form applies to them. Keep living in your fantasy world 🤡

      @robertjr8205 no serious college student taking 15 credits has time for 10 hours of handing out boxes. Have you been to college? It is intense

      A lot of DSP is do the same thing. It’s because they get pressured from Amazon. They treat you like shit. You basically have to be running from house to house if you’re not add a location for 10 seconds they start calling your phone
