As an amazon driver since 2019 I’ll say this from experience… so many customers think it’s so cute to PURPOSEFULLY(I’m not stupid, they do it on purpose), and consistently leave their dog or DOGS loose while still expecting COMPLETE STRANGERS to somehow automatically know if the dog is friendly or not🤦🏽‍♂️🥴🤦🏽‍♂️😵‍💫🥴🤦🏽‍♂️😵‍💫so many times these fools think it’s some fun game or joke to let their dog or dogs run up on people there TRYING TO DO THEIR JOB!!🤡🤡🤡But those same customers would be pissed and scared if the roles were reversed and they had to deliver mail to MY house with MY rottie off the leash😤 I’ve been delivering for Amazon since 2019, and I’ve switched to 5 different DSP groups by now and it makes a HUGE, DRASTIC, BIG difference on how being an amazon delivery driver is bc DPS group leaders are the KEY to how chill or HELLISH your day to day working there will be… out of my 5 different DSP groups 2 were AWESOME!! 1 was OKAY, and the other 2 sucked absolute ass. Major favoritism, unorganized and poor communication. The job is already physically and mentally hard enough with 200 stops/300 packages a day, not counting the hot ass weather and cold ass winters and hard raining days!!! PLUS the customers whose address information is WRONG or MISSING on the package!!! So many grown ass adults ordering online yet dont realize they have their apartment building number on there but NOT the door lettter🤦🏽‍♂️😵‍💫🥴🤡Customers themselves can slow the route down BIG TIME💯Especially if they’re old or don’t speak English… And don’t get me started on apartments🥴 Some DSP groups have 5 to 10 drivers quit a WEEK, while the DSP’s with good leaders, the drivers rarely leave. Another HUGE FACTOR: The pay/work hours is inconsistent depending on the DPS group you deliver for.. Which sounds crazy to people who’ve never delivered for Amazon before, especially considering the insane package volume. If your DSP GROUP/Leader sucks, what will happen is what has happened to me.. You’ll be in a group full of people who will “call out” a lot, and when people call out a lot, the DSP leader will hire more and more drivers, and when that happens then there won’t be enough routes for everybody to get their 4 days a week(full pay). INSTEAD, you’ll be scheduled, but when you show up, you never know what day or HOW MANY days, you’re scheduled on there as “an extra”, which means more drivers were scheduled to compensate for the likeliness of many callouts, and if call outs are low that day then you could be sent right back home without a route🥴😵‍💫🤦🏽‍♂️🤡I’ve seen the next weeks schedule come up and just bc you see 4 days, doesn’t mean you have 4 days of work😂you could be an “extra” for damn 2 or even 3 of them!!! BRUH! That’s why I’m homeless now🥴the pay can be very inconsistent💀 Choose the DSP you join wisely!!!❤ Amazon has over 100% turnover rate for a reason(s)😂

why no one wants to talk about how this stuff is routed? I get how to load a truck or work a phone . But how or who routes 1st stop to last?

DSP and Amazon don't care about you. You are disposable. If you're hard up for cash ok to do this for a few weeks or a summer Don't work during winter

I worked for Amazon in the uk worst company ever 150 plus deliveries per day minimum plus you get on average 50-60 locations which means you’re actually doing over 200 drops per day. You don’t get time for toilet breaks never mind proper breaks they treat drivers like shit.

Thanks so much for this video. For showing us how to use the App from start to finish. Other Amazon drivers make videos and they don't show us this and how to sort the package. They don't explain or teach us nothing.

After 3 weeks critical tips i got is. 1. Cross reference addresses box numbers names 2. At group stops make sure you got every package for each house. You want to make sure there all there and you dont mix them up Other than that pretty easy. Nitpicking tips i got. 1. Put the keys in your pocket and leave them there if possible. Its easy to leave them on accident.

This job ain’t for everybody I’m just glad I made it out I’m time for a damn better job
