      @@ursi38 Your so welcome, I turned 47 years-old last month in August and I’m continuing with my fertility treatment despite suffering a miscarriage in April but I have faith and I can not afford donor eggs, so this will be challenging with my own eggs.

    This TTC journey has so many twist and turns. I am sorry that the largest fibroid is so stubborn but I am glad you are exploring other options to get your body ready for your transfer.

    Also, perhaps consider doing the hysteroscopy when you do the myomectomy that way you're only under anesthesia once and one recovery. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 both go well.

    What about looking into the cause of the fibroids?

    • @ursi38
      @ursi38  Год назад +1

      I did. My fibroids grew large as a result from all the estrogen and other hormones that I took during my previous four IVF transfers.

    Doesn't ufe affect your fertility negatively? I red that it can affect fertility of women over 40. That's why I'm opting for an open myomectomy.

      @@ursi38 thank you for your reply. Im glad to see that things worked well for you. Congratulation on the baby. But I'm wondering if you'd recommend an abdominal myomectomy for someone who's 40 and never had kids before but wants to try now? My fibroids are also quite large, one is 8 cm and another one is 6.5cm and one is 2 cm. I have talked to different gynaecologists and each say different things. I'm especially worried about the possibility of inner adhesions and bleeding.

    that's odd, I think you should get a second opinion. it's not like an artery is going pop out of nowhere. sounds like someone did not do the procedure properly. all blood supply should have been cut off

      I agree. He didn't do the procedure properly. I did get a second opinion which resulted in me having a myomectomy surgery in January 2022 where the large fibroids where removed successfully
