Just getting into boat flipping but doing as much research as I can before I go snatch up my first hull. Wanted to ask is there a season to flipping boats? Does demand slow down as we get into winter making it harder to flip and resale profits go down? Or does it seem fairly steady throughout the year? Does it depend on the purpose of the boat as well? Should I be focusing on fishing boats right now and come spring time more into pleasure boats? Thanks for your great how to’s on project boat shopping!
In south Louisiana it doesn't affect much. Our mild 2 month winters people are still out fishing lol. Just sold a fishing boat last week for top dollar. But defiantly sounds like a good plan to Have pleasure boats ready to sell for summer! Good luck on your first flip! Try not to overthink it. Persistence is the real factor that makes ALL the difference! Thanks for watching!
Definitely keep the wood natural. Yes it's old school, but no matter what you do you still won't hide it's age. To me, retro wood is cool! Really like this project! I'm watching from up in Canada and the used boat prices up here are crazy high. Really envious of the value down your way.
Good buy on the 20 footer and The T top they’ll look good together when finished. I like the wood grain but black would probably look just as good. Looking forward to the next video!
A bass boat is a good flipping option they are going bananas with prices and everybody looks like getting into fishing...hopefully next time you can score one of those. Looking forward to see the new boat transformation though 👊🏻
I agree! I would have still got that bass boat on this video except the guy I was dealing with was a real jerk. So I opted not to do business with him. Thanks! I hope it comes out as good as I plan!
I recently picked up the same center console for free. I put a trailer under it and sold it for $2k without an outboard. Definitely was a $6k boat if I would have done the same as you
D*** i* just the comment from the peanut gallery on the aquasport my dog looking to an Armstrong motorbracket you'll give you a longer running surface and a place to put a swim ladder. Also you ever thought of doing a John boat flip or like a swap boat
Facebook market place. There are plenty of terrible boats and a few good deals. Try and check once a day so you don't miss the good deals, they never last long. Boats with registration are the only ones I would buy. Good luck!!
