- In this Range Report I shoot and review a gun I have been interested in for some time. This is the CZ 75 B Omega Tactical. While I got into CZ later in my life, I have grown to appreciate them. I especially like this model as it is the tactical version, with the omega trigger and in Urban Grey. How does this CZ stack up to the others I have reviewed? This video documents my personal thoughts, opinions and experiences with this firearm. Yours may vary.

I never got into CZs until I bought a Shadow 2 SA. They are a pure pleasure to shoot and look cool, too.
Yes they are!
Hi Jason and welcome to the CZ fan club. I own 4 CZs and love them all. I can confirm to dry fire with a snap cap with these pistols, as I went out to the range last week and found out that I had broken the firing pin on my 75 D PCR (click but no bang). I went ahead and ordered a firing pin and an upgrade parts for another of my CZ kids from Cajun Gun Works. I just finished installing those parts this afternoon. I can’t wait to go to the range to test out the upgrades! Hope you have a great evening!
Thank you so much and yes, CZs have grown on me.
I have 5 CZs. Shot a friend's 4 years ago and did a full dive into CZ. I love the decocker, especially since they are my EDC. I can say they will never be sold.
I have learned to love them too.
CZ is the best glad you want to dive deeper down the chase! I believe CZ disontinued urban grey models and omega models sadly. They can still be found but less available hope your FFL locates one for you be well.
Yeah, it saddens me they stopped making them.
My favorite
It is a nice one.
I have the CZ75B Omega made in 2019 with the the low profile rear sight great pistol!
Yes it is. I am very impressed with it.
Fun fact: CZ 75 is the 2nd most copied gun in the world. I’ve been a fan of CZ for quite some time. Great pistols.
That is a good fact to know!
Got the P-01 version of this, basically the same gun. One of my favorite range guns.
They are very nice as well.
Got the SP-01 Tactical urban grey "pic rail" just like this. For the price, best bang for the buck. Friends love shooting it. To bad it's discontinued.
The thread protector probably just needs a dab of red Loctite... It's hard to charge the pistol with the front serrations too lol
I agree. I heard they stopping making all the Urban Grey guns.
The only time I have shot a CZ was about 3 or 4 months ago. Someone had one at the range and since they showed an interrest in the FN Reflex we traded for a bit. I was impressed with it, even the double action trigger was nothing like the Berretta was, I wish they chambered something besides 9mm.
I agree with your sentiment.
Back in the 70's, my friends and I all lusted for a model 75. Jeff Cooper kept writing about how it was the only non-1911 worth having. As it was a tightly controlled Warsaw Pact handgun, we in America had no access, not even a single photo of one was available anywhere (we had no idea what it looked like), which only made us desire one even more.
By the 90's things had changed, and I bought my first CZ, a 75-B, chambered in the then gee-whiz and brand-new .40 S&W.
Did it live up to the expectation?
@@thetexasgunvault Sure did!! I also have a Shadow 2, which is mucho fun. My wife won't part with her SP01 Competition model.
Good morning, Jason, you are onto a brilliant gun with the CZed pistol. I can tell you from experience that the CZed will shoot better than the owner any day of the week. I own a few and love them nearly as much as my 1911's. And when the zombie apocalypse kicks off, I will be bringing my CZed Phantom. The CZ-75 SP-01 Phantom is a flat-out joy to shoot. I am going all out today and giving a 5 Roo score for your review, with a koala stamp, 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🐨
Thank you as always Andrew. I have not seen the Phantom editions.
5 out of 5 stars? i looked past this model, but you just sold me.
Yeah, it really impressed me.
Im trying to get my hands on one
Good luck! I hope you find one.
Cajun gunworks pro pkg or carry pkg will solve the trigger issues! 👍🏻
I hear they are really nice upgrades.
I have been told that the Cajun Gun Works upgrades on the Omega trigger don't improve as much as on the other triggers but there are still good. I can say the CGW upgrades on the standard 75B's are fantastic.
Can those suppressor sights work on a Shadow 2?
I believe they will.
It is so close to the Hi Power.
How good would she shoot than?
Yes it and it and it shoots good.
The full métal is better.
I agree.
