The P09 an 7 are awesome and probably the best pistols you can get in their price range, but theres something special about shooting the all metal 75s imo.

Agree. May not be fun to carry but a metal pistol just shoots better in my opinion! Thanks so much for watching!!

Have thousands of rounds through my p09 and no failures. Has the Cajun gun works trigger and spring kit. It's buttery smooth. Reminds me of a 1911. I shoot this gun very well and have recommended it to many.

I prefer the P07/9 Series since it has more area for opperating the slide. Plus since they are only sold with the omeaga triggers you can switch between the safety and decocker. I personally prefer the safety. Also because of the greater real estate there is more room for optics milling. The pic rail allows lights. The magazine capacity is also greater. Super reliable and sealed off. Also to all Cz owners i highly recommend using DPM Systems recoil reduction spring!

Bought a P-09 4 years ago and just picked up a 75 B today. They are pretty similar, but I just had to own both. My only 9mm guns except for my Hellcat. I like full size handguns and they both fit my Alien Gear OWB holster!

The P.07 is about the perfect size, so I do like the P.09, but the original 75 and its compact variants fit my hand so well. The only thing I prefer are the Omega decocker levers, being a southpaw myself.

I prefer the fit of the 75 as well. to me, it's one of the most iconic things about the CZ 75. one of the most comfortable pistols for my hand.

Just tested my PO7 against my brand new CZ 75BD. The 75 is naturally going to feel more controllable being the heavier gun but both are fantastic and have served me well regardless. CZ definitely crafts every pistol with finesse.

I used to be quite a good competitive tactical shooter with my cz85. Had to sell it 20 years ago. Started shooting again with the CZ polymer series. P10f p10c and p07. They are not as accurate and i find it difficult to do rapid fire with them. Its a technique thing of course, but i think i will just buy an all steel cz pistol

Nice video you got here :) I have bought second hand P-09 recently and I want to ask, if barrel crown is a little bit shine after cleaning or not? Something like gloss grey or so. Mine isn't black as other parts of barrel so if I should worried about rust etc. (I really don't think so, feeding ramp is mirror like as well chamber but I just want to be sure). There were tons of hard carbon in barrel and after cleaning with solvents, brass brush etc. I've used polishing paste for last remnants. I can't imagine how I could damage the nitriding with a fine paste on a soft cloth brush so anticorrosion durability should be still same.

I mean, technically, CZ's big gun was the 97.. and it's a complete beast in the best way possible :)

Have a 97. It is a large gun in .45 ACP. Great firearm. I bought two extra mags. They came from CZ in Europe. Took a few m9nths before delivery but we'll worth it.

shoot the CZ75, the P07 and the P09. In fact, I bought a P09. The P07 is incredibly smooth, but it still doesn't compare to the 75, and yet the P09 does have that feeling of control that the CZ75 gave me. Concealed carry is an issue, but in my country it is not allowed, so if you can only have one pistol, which allows us to be perfect for defending ourselves or even competing, I believe without a doubt that the P09 is not going to disappoint you.

How was the recoil? Was there a big difference in the three that you shot?

    • @rodrigohalpern7315

@@victorcamarillo5761 P07 was quite similar to the infamous Glock 17 (yes, I'm comparing an 3.7 inch barrel, with a 4.4 inch, and feels the same, if not better the P07 🤔), but the P09 is just as good as CZ75, but "different". May be is the weight (CZ75 definitely heavier), may be weigh distribution, but even I can feel the difference, it make no difference in target acquisition or accuracy. Just out of the box, P09 is light, but not uncomfortably light, accurate, with higher ammo capacity, options (better sights, lanterns or lasers, photon torpidos, or whatever), and best of all... cheapper

I have the cz75B stainless. Love this pistol,I shoot it well, but it’s not my EDC firearm though. The other day took it out to shoot, and I noticed their is some mild surface rust only on top of the slide. I was able to remove with a mild copper scouring pad and gun oil. After cleaning and doing a final wipe down,it looks like there some bubbling underneath finish in one of the areas that had the surface. Since it’s stainless,it shouldn’t have a Finish? What’s your thoughts? Thanks!

I hate the way the p-09 fits in the hand compared to the 75. the right way to do polymer for me is the sp-01 phantom. those were really nice. these are fine, but they are obviously designed as a cost cutting measure, not a performance enhancer. it is what it is, and I'm sure it's a quality piece, but without that classic CZ-75 grip (as well as few smaller details), it's just another generic polymer pistol. since it doesn't give me what I want, I don't see much purpose for me in seeking out this gun. it honestly makes me think about switching to something else, like a VP9. I just would like a poly 75, which they made, then canceled to push their P series and not have their products competing with each other.
