I rather use the Chase no af ink cards and the amex person gold card. The higher af amex cards are worth it, but demands a greater management effort. The increase management to amex premium cards is why I have increase my commitment to the Chase freedom and ink cards, should of done this years ago.
I think that if you pair this with the business plus you’re making BANK. You can put the 2 expenses you know you’re going to be spending the most on that month, and the rest you put it on the business plus and you get 4x on the selected cathegories and 2x on everything else.
I own a small business (net profit of only $5000 for the year) and a full-time job as my main source of income. Is it good to apply for AMEX Business Gold for my business and pair it with my current Amex Cobalt? I only travel 1-2 a year so I don’t think applying for Amex Platinum is practical.
I got this card, got an amazing sign up bonus, 110k, but felt mislead initially on hardware and software providers. Purchases that triggered the 1.5x on the plat in that category, didn't trigger on the gold. That fact alone had us switch our spend to the ink cards and honestly don't recommend it. Great review though!
never get this card they failed to give me my 60k points even after 4 months of calls they admitted it was a clerical error yet couldn’t solve the issue. Ended up canceling the card on principal worst customer service experience ever.
is there an email address to let amex know my cloud system charge is not getting 4X? tried calling and chatting, but dont have a lot of faith in either of the reps i interacted with

📦 We have a Gold and the most challenging part is getting our AP team understanding all the ins and outs of how to capitalize on the 4x category. Sometimes I think we should just move to a 2x for e everything card and be done.

The Amex Business Gold now has credits and I'm not sure that I like it with the new AF.

Amex is for city people, Uber, taxi, train, ferry. Only weirdos drive themselves.

Separate application, you would either hold both cards or cancel the personal Amex Gold and apply for the Amex Business Gold.

Amex customer service gets worse and worse every year. It's high time they stop outsourcing it to overseas reps.
