I do! I mean, I don't have it in a cage but it literally is in the exact spot in my backyard everyday. So I like to call it my pet. Plus I feed it humming bird nectar as well. I also have a pet cat that I only see like 2 times a month. She's started out as an actual pet but then realized she was a lone ranger and took off for a spiritual journey or something...
Ooh nice! We're always seeing hummingbirds in our backyard here, because it's pretty much a jungle in the middle of the burbs. We also have the neighbor's cat that comes over if he's outside and hears our door opening. It's great, a pet without the responsibilities!

I currently wear digital hearing aids. I don't like them very much. All music I listen to, it sounds like the notes are warbling. I can't hear pure tones any more. My hearing aids repeat the sounds I hear, like if you wiggle your lips really fast.
What kind of hearing aids do you have if you don't mind me asking. I usually enjoy listening to music with a lot of bass so I can feel it. I normally don't wear my hearing aids when I play that music because I like to feel the beat.
They are Phonak
I have phonak too! Not sure how long you have had yours for. Personally I am used to the sound of hearing aids but that is because I have been wearing them for over 20 years and I never been able to hear pure tones so I don't know what to compare it to. But when it comes to listening to music I try to find other ways to "Listen" to it. So that is by feeling it or seeing it. There is also this device called the Sub-pac. Have you heard of it? It is amazing, you can wear it and it lets you feel the vibration of the music, so cool!
I just got back. They tried their best, but were not able to re-program the hearing aids so that it would stop warbling. It's the part of the hearing aid that detects whistling {or any pure tone for that matter}, then it transmits it as a warbling sound. I won't be able to listen to music any more, or even whistle. I LOVED whistling too! :'(
