Love that youtube is recommending these smaller channels that are making exactly what I enjoy listening to while out on a walk. One thing of note: Impostor oak isn't an error. ImpostOr and ImpostEr are both correct and interchangeable. Impostor is more common in American English, while imposter is more common in British English.
Evo Box Wartortle, D.efending Beedrill, and Rotated Energy Diglett are my favourite errors because they appear to stem from a formatting oversight as opposed to a printer problem.
Human Design stage Errors that got corrected fairly quickly are far more interesting than production printing stage flaws like smears, hickeys, partially missing inks/text, or even mis alignments/cuts. No Damage Ninetales is the only missing text in base set that was a missing text design flaw. Corrected mid print of shadowless brushfire decks. In contrast, cards like no stage or illus Blastoise are very obviously print stage malfunction, and can have small variations to how much text is missing/faded. Red Cheeks Pikachu, D.efending Beedrill, Wartortle Evolution, Sideways Energy Diglett are considered image design flaws that all got corrected within mid print runs. Red/Yellow Cheecks Pikachu existing for both 1st edition and Shadowless proves some shadowless cards were printed before 1st edition copies, and just didn't get the 1ed stamp, so that's interesting. Shadowless Ghost Stamp Pikachu, only found as yellow cheeks in shadowless zap decks are maybe a little more interesting because an unintended print stage for part of the stamp was added or left turned on. You could say this is a human design flaw when configuring the printing before producing.
Great video. I just started looking into error cards last month and am fascinated by all the different ways that Wizards/TPCI have managed to screw up a Pokemon card
Hey man just subscribed to you, you have a very informative video here I loved it !!! I just was looking through my first editions that I have in my binder when I saw that some of the trainers I had were also 1st editions and on a card called trainer nightly garbage run rockets secret machine there was an additional ink error on the 1st edition stamp part that's an error right I can submit that into cgc or PSA and they will have to include that when they label it am I right or please let me know thanks man 🙏
Yeah it sounds like you might have an ink hickey maybe? That’s an awesome card. Feel free to join my discord if you want to share some photos, I’d love to see it!
Sup upon some further digging I think you made a mistake about the gyarados. Every unlimited gyarados has the spacing error. 1st ed and shadowless have normal spacing.
@@sleevenocardbehindyeah at least that’s what some forums say when you search the error. It’s all good! Keep the videos coming! Love all this stuff on vintage.

Thanks for watching! They changed it to the American spelling in later reprints so that’s why I included it as an error.

It's always interesting to see those quirky errors that make you pause and wonder how they slipped through the cracks!

Literally just checked my collection. My unlimited gyarados has the shifted spacing from the rarity star! My shadowless gyarados is normal.
Another super informative and helpful video! Thanks so much 😊
