I grabbed the Bubble Mew in a PSA 9 when it was $95 but I only had the Japanese Shiny Treasure EX version of Charizard so I just pulled the trigger on the English one for $120. Its my sons favorite card of this era so having it in both languages is a plus. Charizard is highly undervalued like Bubble Mew was and soon as I seen Bubble Mew take off I knew Zard wasn't going to be far behind.
First off love your videos. LONG time collector, but newer to the Pokemon community. Was more than excited, but as you stated at the time I pulled them their values were not as high.....Still got top loaded and put into my growing personal binder. So here is My $.02 in the increasing values on these newer sets and why now. As we ALL know the 151 set grabbed a lot of attention from people for many different reasons. Im not going to go over them all. With that came that hunt.. First packs, then UPC and even ETB just look to not just pull the chase card, but as most collectors we become completest (SO DANGEROUS) so we wanna fill our binder. WELL, with the prices going sky high( awesome I have a sealed UPC) the shift starts. Meaning those hunting for the 151 or those empty binder slots move their focus to another set. Welcome the surge in PF and even TwM. Will it get to Steller Crown? Well with the new UPC for that set coming who knows? No ones talking much about it now they are all focused on the Surging sparks. So the money we see is those moving away from the cray cray of 151 and speeding a little more on those chase cards.
I remember pulling bubble mew. I was totally amazed with it in person. I love this card. I love the zard too but bubble mew definitely deserves this. The paldean fates and obsidian flames zard would look nice next to eachother

You're right! SWSH alt arts will have a place in our hearts forever and a day. But as investors/collectors people are absolutely sleeping on some of these S&V era cards, the art is fantastic. Lots of value to be had from an investor standpoint but also very collectable too.
I actually pulled this one from my first opening over 20 years. Bought paldean fates etb to get back into the hobby and it was in one of the packs. At the time it was much cheaper.
Wow! Opened a booster bundle of PF when getting back into the hobby, asked my brother what the chase card was and he said “Mew” as I pulled it. Few months later, sent that card to PSA and it got the 10
I don't see how this set doesn't go crazy in the next couple of weeks. The only product I see on the shelves at retail stores is the non-charizard promo tins. There are some ETBs on the shelves, but they are full retail price 50-55 bucks. Besides the three cards you covered, people love shiny pokemon. I see this set really taking off in price in the near future.
I felt guilty because I caved in and bought a PSA 10 Bubble Mew for $350 at a card show a few months ago, but I’m very happy and surprised that it actually has raised a lot 😅 Totally unexpected
Love the analysis and I agree that the charizard EX is just waiting to burst now that people are looking at paldean fates. I think the next place that’s gonna happen is temporal forces personally, but with surging sparks around the corner part of me thinks that the next 12 months of Pokémon are all gonna be insane with the next celebration set next year and all the others… wooooo buddy Keep up the great content! this has always been my favorite SV card, 200+ packs and couldnt pull it. Luckily i bought the single for about 75 and so happy I did although i’m still trying to pull it myself one day

Pffffff i pulled 3 mew in one etb pack and 2 sir chard in another etb. I just like collecting, and while I was bored checking my cards and checking prices, I was shocked how much money I have. I got all the sir in surging sparks and got happy. I'm just a collector and not looking for selling any, unlike scalpers

I bought 1 etb and pulled the mew a month ago as one of my first pokemon collections (new to collecting) i also just got 2 CZ sea and sky and pulled Arceus, Suicune, and Lumineon! 😎 oh and i bought 2 packs of cyber judge and won sleeping beauty 😂
The reason Gardevoir is much lower in price is probably because most Gardevoir cards have a history of not holding much value. It would be cool if you showed a little history of each Character and show some of its top cards from the past few years.

This bubble mew keeps rising. I think last time I checked, it was at $170. I think people keep forgetting about paldean fates and forget how the pull rates were still tough in that set compared to the previous sets.
i pulled this and have kept him in my clear phone case (the phone is light blue and matches) since he came out. at this point im worried that my phone will get stolen just for the card, not even the my new phone LOL

I just got the grade results of my bubble mew I pulled from my first PF ETB and it unfortunately got a 9, probably for being slightly off center on the front..really bummed it got a 9 instead of a 10 but I get it.
