Awesome!!, I was making up my mind in between the ranger and the Maverick, ranger offers more off-road capabilities but at the end I don’t do crazy off-road, for what I do the Maverick is fine and that lift kit bring it almost to the high of a mid size truck, on top of that looks super nice. I am absolutely 100% doing this!! Love this video!!!! However, I want bouncier KO2s, not these low profile ones, i.e., the widest/tallest ones I can squeeze in there with some 16 inch wheels. Basically 31s on 16 inch mickey t's.

I'm not sure the Maverick can fit 16's, I dunno this for a fact but there isn't much clearance between the caliper and the 17's on my maverick. Definitely double check before buying!

Will this work on the hybrid? O dont want a monster lift just a little more ground clearance.
Maverick lifted makes it look/feel like a more proper pickup. However using spacers like everyone is doing now, you would be raising the center of gravity but not increasing the suspension travel. Yes you get more clearance, but its coming at a cost and isnt most efficient. I look forward to seeing proper lift kits in the future.

Can someone please supply the exact tire dimensions to order accordingly... i have seen the 245/65r17 on stock height and 2" lift, these look bigger, why is this such a secret? Looks like fx4 (A) built has 1 cat, 2 mufflers. Looks great I have 2 Lariat FX4 velocity Blue. I'm going to leave 1 alone and do same as you did. Who did the lift. My 2nd Maverick is a (B) built so 2nd round has 1 cat, 1 muffler

just got mine done and went do alignment they said camber not adjustable, where you guys buy the components, camber bolts maybe? help a brother out please lolz
Probably need to buy crashbolts from the dealer to add some adjustment.
People need to research these things. You may end up with another problem with your cv axles failing from added stress. Its not as easy as the supplier says. Sure it helps them if you buy it from them but they could careless if your car goes out of spec. Buyer beware lol

wheel gap is bigger than the truck itself. Needs taller tires to fill out the wheel well

I don't want to lift it two inches, I want to lower it two inches. I'm a child of the fifties and sixties looked fast just sitting there. And you don't need a step ladder to get in them!

What's the new tire size and the lift kit used? Looks great. Did you recalibrate the sensors and speedo?
Rough Country 2 in lift kit. And no we didn't have to recalibrate the speedometer
I would check your speedometer reading. Bigger tire means calibration will be off. Any tire shop can tell you this and by how much. Unfortunately you cant fix it without computer recalibration by someone who knows what they are doing.

To put a 2" lift on a maverick makes no sense even after doing so it would yet sit lower by far then my stock tacoma trd 2×4 offroad with no lift at all dont see the point of doing the lift?
It's insane why someone wants a city truck to drive or look like an offroad truck. Why buy it in the first place? Makes no sense to me. That 2 inch lift doesnt even look like the truck was lifted lol
so no discussion of lift or placement or necessary guidance.... may as well get it over with with a before and after pic 4 minutes that should have been 5 seconds

This truck is actually on a SUV type of suspension, really made for streeet/ highway driving. not for off road.
Sure. Keep telling yourself that. I don't know what you consider offroad, but this thing is plenty capable. If Subaru can make decent offroad cars, Im sure that Ford can make a decent offroad truck. You're not going rock climbing nor extreme mud bogging, in the maverick. This will be good enough for most offroading.
Get a jeep if you want to go extreme. Or you can pull your side x side with the maverick, and then do your extreme stuff in the sxs.

Way to much wheel clearance. Will be noisy and rough ride, and hurt fuel mileage. It is a Escape platform, not a body on frame truck which is more forgiving.

I can't take you seriously, since you can't differentiate 'to' from 'too'. I mean damn. Its a 2 inch lift and offroad tires. Im pretty sure that Ford offers both, so what really is your problem? Ford also is coming out with a Tremor/Rattler package with 3-4 inch lift, fox suspension, and better body overhangs. Nobody said it was a body on frame truck. Even Subarus and Volvo XC's can be lifted with big tires. Hell, have you ever heard of a rally car? Besides, most body on frame trucks can accept way bigger lifts and tires, like 4-16 inch lifts, and 44 inch tires. Do you even drive, brO?
