I keep going back and forth on lifting or lowering. Lifting would make me more capable off-road, but hurt my fuel economy with the hybrid. Lowering would be interesting but hurt my off-roading and ground clearance for bumps and dips on the street. So I think I’ll just keep it stock height and add slightly more aggressive A/T tires once my first set get used if I even use it off road much.

It looks amazing, I absolutely love it!
I wonder if someone has already gone the extra mile and made a steel offroad bumper for this little mini truck.
I love the style of heavily modified tacomas, tundras, f150's, Ram trucks, etc. It would be nice to see someone actually do a proper offroad rig with a maverick.
Now, considering I am doing my research on the Maverick because I like it for my dad who tends to stay away from heavy mods, this seems like a very good one to consider for him along with the little truck.
Would anyone else like to see a heavily modified maverick with bed rack, roof rack, offroad steel bumper, lights, etc or its just me?

The industry will respond with modifications to the geometry of the independent suspension systems and flex/stretch as the vehicle sells more. With a little chopping one could easily push shock hoops through the hood and the bed sides and run ifs/irs links with maximum stretch.

The great thing about the Maverick is that its basically a Bronco Sport with a bed. (If you get the off road package on the XLT it really is)
So, many after market parts for the Bronco Sport "should" work on the Maverick. A lifted Maverick looks awesome and would only make sense if you do not have the electric hybrid. Buy it for the milage or the light off roading, one or the other. You can't get both.

The limitation for lifting a truck is the CV (Constant Velocity) half-shafts \ driveshafts. So anything with independent suspension. Trucks that are body-on-frame sometimes have a solid axil for the rear but independent suspension for the front. Driving with CV joints at extreme angles will cause them to wear out much faster.

It's a misprint. Pretty sure 31.5" is about the limit with trimming. I don't think it could go offroad with those on without some serious rubbing. I'd like to see someone do it and prove me wrong as I would love to be wrong.

If the maverick was the size of the ranger it would be perfect
But I dislike how low to the ground even fully loaded it is.
Try to off-road with it and you risk tearing up allot of stuff
I had a lariat fx4 fully loaded ordered, but when it came in, that height was a worrisome thing for me
Go off-road and bam, one spot can tear that thing up

You have to know how to drive offroad. Sounds like you could benefit from some offroad classes. Also, this Maverick is the size of the 2010 ranger. Its perfect as is. You want bigger, get a ranger or f150. The new ranger is the size of my 2001 f150. New f150 is the size of 2004 superduty, now.

What do you mean how much can you lift it or do more ? If you have money you can do anything to this truck plain and simple.

Unibody doesn’t have anything to do with it. Jeep xj, zj, and wj, half of the mj, are all unibody. Also. The second and third of the pathfinder are unibody and the third gen is independent suspension front and rear (so is the current gen but it’s not really a pathfinder in my mind). and the armada from Nissan is body on frame but is also independent front and rear. Regardless of one being unibody or body on frame the limiting factor is the suspension. Not the chassis construction. A unibody Jeep with solid axles is capable of much more lift than a body on frame anything. It’s the suspension design that is the limiting factor

I was told that if I lift my Maverick I’ll make my warranty void because of alterations, anyone have any input on how true that is?
