I think most young people go through this phase. I did, and didn't like the struggle and not having money. Sleeping outside sucked balls. It took me a long time to figure out how to transition into society. But having the basics, Bed, food shower, car, toilet laundered clothes, is for me personally worth the daily grind of the workforce.
Hey traveling kids, I'll be in SF in a few weeks for a month. Looking forward to seeing y'all again. Every time I'm there I come to Golden Gate to hang out. It feels good to be around you.
Samantha mentioned Ocean Beach! seriously, another traveler mecca. yes, some wingnuts but during the summer, anyone who is into the travelng lifestyle, either on the street or hostel, will love San Diegos "Haight". haha I swear. Come down to OB, the fam will take care of you! Much Love!
bs when I was in the streets i stayed in ob for 5 months and sure the people are great(most) but i was constantly harrassed by cops simply for sitting..they hate kidz man
They love it. They absolutely do. And that’s cool. If that’s what you want. Fine. But don’t expect me to support you. Through my tax dollars or through my spare change. Most of you are young and strong and healthy.
@@studentjohn35 it’s hard to say. I believe in the homeless problem. And I believe in addictions and the like. But I also believe that there are many people who are on the con. Who are they ? I don’t know. It’s a judgment call. I do tend to help older people rather than the young ones.
The guy playing the guitar isn't bad actually. Sounds pretty good with his voice and everything. Just might possibly be one of those guys who gets discovered and makes it :)
America land of the free. Free to live the life they want, and remember you only get one life. Guess they're not interested in working for some corporation making billions in profits while paying there workers crap wages. Damn that guy had a rough beginning of life O_O his dad tryna kill his family, his brother dien, on the same day he gets struck by lightning, and his girlfriend dien of cancer O_O
I can sort of understand the allure of this lifestyle what with the freedom and opportunities for adventure, but in the end they'll go running back to the suburbs. Free thinkers my ass!!
@@mike.p.1400 Not everyone has a suburb to go back to. A lot of these people have mental health issues that keep them from participating in society in a conventional way. Modern life isn't a one size fits all.
@@Owl1126 I believe in mental issues and drugs and sex and alcohol and poor financial planning and things like that. I do. I really do. But for many. Not all. But many. Especially the young ones. They dig it. They really do. They’d rather fly a sign at some intersection than get a job and go sleep under a bridge somewhere. They make just enough to buy a joint and a beer a pack of smokes and maybe a hamburger. For me the daily grind of a job is worth it to have a roof. Food. And clean clothes.
I hate the kids that get kicked out, dropped out, etc. that are homeless They don't deserve sympathy and should stop trying to get it. It was a choice for them to do what they did
I’m so bored I gotta get out of my warm bed and grab some food from my well stocked fridge that my safe boring job allows me to have.....oh and I don’t have to use Pages from a magazine to wipe my ass either.......🤷♂️

These kids seem pretty harmless and kind compared to the drug addled zombies in SF today.

I like people who are "REAL" !
The world is so fake, and full of fake people..

Mike, you come across as a person who'd give ME a hard time if I dared give them spare change. "It only encourages them," you'd say
