Thank-you. I have a feeling of soreness under my left armpit and down my left arm. My left chest feels a bit sore when I touch it. Even when my shirt touch the skin on my chest it feels tender. I am convinced that this due to lymph nodes working hard to rid me of an infection I came up in a small rash on the upper back (only on the left side). I am truly grateful for your demo because at least I can do something to heal myself. Thank-you. Thank-you Thank-you.
Thanks for such a helpful video instruction. Much appreciated! Two quick comments. 1. This process is a little complicated or involved. It would help if you could just review the massage points and order once more at the end as a review it would be great. 2. Please give modifications for those of us who have both sides affected. Thanks again!
Being a survivor of hodgkins lymphoma I freak out every time a lymph node becomes swollen. I'm trying your massage before seeing doctor. Thank you so much for the excellent instruction! What you provide is very , very important. Much appreciated!
Im having pain under armpit left side, for on/off ages. aching through to my arm n my chest. No lumps no cuts nothing but stabbing pain. my gp refer me to the hospital so the echo heart scan, all clear... its last for abit i cope with painkillers. Im just sick of it. Anyone same?
My left underarm is so swollen even with PT every week. I had 19 lymph nodes removed that were cancerous. One breast was removed. I had IDC BRCA. I exercise it like they told me to everyday, but it still feels very painful under the armpit. Feels like something stabbing me under my arm with a stick lol.😂 It hurts so much I cant lay on my left side. My what a deal. 😟
What type of PT are you doing? After my mastectomy, I was sent to a regular pt for muscles and a therapist who specializes in lymphatic drainage. I feel your pain (every day) . Best wishes
DVT's are a contraindication for performing Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) or using compression pumps because of the risk of developing a pulmonary embolism. Please consult with a physician if you have concerns regarding lymphededma for patients with DVT.

Doing mine to drain breast cancer lymph i hope it's ok, i really enjoyed it, best I've seen so far🙏 my arm suddenly developed edema even though i have never had lymph nodes removed
I got into a 15min argument about 1yr and a half ago, and I felt an extreme painful sensation around my left chest/outer left chest area. Now I get pain 4-5 inches under my left armpit. What could this be?
The affected side is normally larger in size indicating lymphedema. Please consult with a physician or a certified lymphedema therapist for further direction/diagnosis if you have concerns one side might be affected.
@@lalitahalawar2198 no it isn't. However, lymphedema is one way the body may react to cancer surgery. Specifically, breast cancer surgery can affect the arms. So that's why this demonstration of arm massage is useful for cancer patients who have developed lymphedema after their surgery.
I am not necessarily qualified but this is so important in other cultures massages are so essential and that also helps the most important part is to go lightly and the directions she says specially when referring to the affected side
I'm so grateful to have found this video! My nodes are swollen after getting my covid booster, and this has helped tremendously! Thank you!
Me too it's too painful especially the second dose and first one was just okay
Same!
That’s why I’m here too!
Same! I can’t even put my arm all the way down it hurts so badly! It didn’t happen with either of the other doses, but that booster 😅
Does anyone know how long the lymph nodes remain swollen after the booster vaccine?
Thank you. It took 16 years for my lymphedema to become bad. I felt like a time bomb. So grateful for this information.

For how many days should I continue doing this because its very painful
Is the finishing massage at 9:40 (from wrist, to outside of arm, across chest, down the affected side) done just once or 10x as well?
Is this effective to get rid of fibrosis after a liposuction of the arms ? Thank you
So what do you do if you don't have an "affected" area and have just been recommended to do the self drainage regardless?

Can you massage lymph fluid back into your heart or is it safe if you have a so called Ischemic heart disease ? Where does the lymph drain to?

Hello! Thank you for this video. What if I want to target both arms? Would you recommend to do one arm at one time and then a little later the other?
Cake here to ask the same thing

Will this spread infection or virus? Or should we wait to do this only when healthy?

I was doing this, mostly intuitively after recent surgery. This has helped me a lot, for a more complete regime.
