    • @CancerRehabPT

Great question! I'll be doing a more in-depth video on this soon, but the two most common causes are lymph nodes removed in a surgery or primary lymphedema when there is a genetic cause

I had 23 lymph nodes removed on right side ten years ago ( Breast Cancer ). I recently broke my right wrist and was in a cast for six weeks. Now I am dealing with the pain of healing bone as well as a lot of swelling on my lymphatic arm and hand. I cannot wear my compression sleeve. I am wondering if I should do wraps or would they injure my wrist bone? The bone doctor does not seem concerned about the lymphedema, but I am. I have just started working with this video and thank you. After the lymphedema massage I will do wrist exercises. Currently, my wrist is fairly immobile. Any suggestions ? ( Patti )
