+Stephanie Jones It takes an amazing mother to produce such a wonderful son. Trevor has brought light, courage and happiness into the lives of a great multitude of people, both by his advice and by his example. That won't make you miss him any less, I know, but it needs to be said, because he'll continue to be among us thanks to the bravery and kindness he showed to others, and the help and support that will continue to shine on the rest of us thanks to his videos.

Omg. I stumbled on this vid by accident. So, so sorry for your lose! The fact that he made this vid encouraging people to be who they are speaks volumes about his character. You did an amazing job raising this beautiful spirit. Though it's been yrs since his death, my thoughts are with you and your family

I am so glad that things worked out so well for you, Trevor. I am placing this video on my "Coming Out As Gay" RUclips Playlist, but one thing that I would add is that it is crucial that people come out when they are ready to do so and when they are safe in doing so. Only the person himself can determine when the time is right.

I am very happy with where I am in life; but, it sure would be nice to have been coming out with guys like you when I came out. You are incredible. Be proud and be arrogant = yes you can = because you are just that good and deserve a lot of self credit.

Thanks, Trevor. I just second handedly came out to my class and I'm still unsure of how their reactions turn out. I'm somewhat frightened, but not that I'll be teased (it's inevitable). It's that I'm afraid I can't go forward with my daily routine at school. I'm afraid that I can't change in the locker room without girls acting like I'm staring at them and/or trying to convert them or that I'm going to be hit and spit on because I like both genders. I'm afraid I can't be a regular girl anymore.

Trevor, I had no idea you were gone until today. I had my iTunes on shuffle and Superman by Joe Brooks came on and I thought to look you up because you talked about that song in one of your videos. I wanted to somehow tell you thank you for your videos. I was struggling with accepting myself and telling my friends and family around the same time you started posting videos on youtube. I watched every one of them and eagerly awaited you to post another one every time. Your words inspired and helped me so much. I am now married to a wonderful man that loves me in return and I know that I would not be the person I am without your encouragement through your videos. I really wanted to share this with you, but if anything, I just want your family to know what a difference you made in my life and probably in the lives of so many others. I feel like I knew you, I remember being upset and finding myself watching your youtube videos to give me courage and confidence, and they always did. You never knew me, but without you, I might wouldn't be here. You made a difference. Thank you. Rest in peace.

Some very wise words there Trevor and god love you for having the courage to share them. You are so right we should love one another and I am older than you at 45 and still I haven't a clue as to why some people enjoy inflicting hurt and pain on other people. My heart gets heavy every time I watch the TV news but then I see videos likes this and my heart lifts again.

Trevor, even 11 years later, this video still fulfills its purpose and instills hope in lost souls like me who live in entirely different part of the world. While I was watching, I cursed this system that forced you to talk about what should have been so simple and ordinary, by sniffing, shaking your voice and choking your throat. Because this video is all about love and not to discriminate others. I wish with all my heart that you could be with us and see the way we have come.

It's hard, but it does become a part of you and you grow stronger as a person because of it. Anyone who won't accept you for you are is not worth having in your life. Surrealist.

Trevor, you are wise beyond your years. The first time I realized I was attracted to another guy was when I was around nine and watched Tab Hunter, an actor of the 1950's, (who turned out to be actually gay) in a movie called Island of Desire around 1952! I am 68 now, and got married to my partner of 40 years in 2008. Best to you.

Spent the last 25 years in the closet feeling like a Jew in occupied Poland . I've taught over 200 black belts to be authentic but have lied my whole life. You are way braver than me.

I'm christian and that doesn't change anything. That's how I was taught and being gay is just a small part of who I am. I think we're in the right path, we're finally being heard, the change is starting to happen all over the globe. It's the same that happened with slaves, then with people of color, now it's our battle. Like it happened with the others it will get better for us too. But the world won't just become a better place, cause people will always find something else to hate. Great video.
