    Wouldn’t it have made more sense to put the Austin clip before Judge?

    • @nbajoey4566
      @nbajoey4566 6 лет назад +5

      DazReht no,because there doing from most recent Judge was hit after.

    • @DazReht
      @DazReht 6 лет назад +7

      NYY News I understand that, but if they are going from a game to game basis, I think it would have made more sense to put Austin before Judge since they are in the same game and Austin hit it first.

    Never in a million years would I have been able to guess Todd Zeile and Ron Coomer were ever Yankees, much less hit a homer in their first at bat.

    I remember listening to Marcus Thames HR off Randy Johnson on the radio because my TV didn’t have the Yes Network yet. I was little and jumped up and down screaming with excitement.

    I was at that Marcus Thames / Randy Johnson game. Remember the HR well!

    Only 5 Yanks have hit a home run in their first ever major league at-bat.
    John Miller - September 11, 1966
    Thames - June 10, 2002 (off of Randy Johnson to boot)
    Andy Phillips - September 26, 20004
    and Austin-Judge back to back

      John Miller also hit a HR in his last AB as a MLB player as a Dodger. Those two HRs are only he hit in his 3 year MLB career

      Denny Neagle is my favorite obscure Yankee of recent vintage. Guy started game 4 of the 2000 World Series and I dont think theres more than a handful of Yankee fans who could tell you that.

      A-Rod was and will always be better than the strikeout kings Stanton & Judge. Jeter will always be the most clutch.
      In the power department however, it's a whole different story.
