I absolutely love the fact that Gleyber is doing his best to speak in English. He doesn't have to do that but he wants to do it. That speaks volumes about him. We have been hearing about this kid for years and all the hype was well deserved. What an outstanding player he is.

This is great and the line up kept battling, but with all the excitement of the Torres walk off what's being lost here is how freaking amazing Domingo German was today. He took a no-no into the 7th. He deserves a boatload of credit as well for not allowing a hit against a great Indians line up.

Landon B. He’s a good player. He will hit some homers, but he’s not a power hitter. He won’t hit nearly as many home runs as most of the other guys on the team. Just don’t expect home runs from him. Expect solid defense, clutch, and a lot of doubles with some homers.

Yanks have an abundance of players. If Walker is starting to play better and we are seeing Austin playing well and supposedly Drury has figured out his migraines from a bad tendon in the back of his neck and starting to play better...so who will be sent down or will they send down a pitcher...decisions. a good problem to have i guess.
Him, Drury and Austin will be valuable during the season. Important to keep all of them in rhythm and ready to contribute. Playing time is going to be at a premium these guys. Nobody expected Andújar and Torres to make this an impact this soon. Factor in other roles players like Wade and Torreyes, the Yankees have a good problem on their hands. Depending on the health and production (if any) from Bird and Frazier, expect a trade at some point for a 3rd of 4th starter. This team is fun to watch.
Earlier this week we nearly swept the reigning WS champs in 4, and we just swept the first place Indians in 3. We're the hottest team in baseball right now. I think baseball fans around the world are realizing that the Yankees' “chase for 28” just got even more realistic. THIS IS OUR YEAR BABY!

Gleyber Torres is going to make many all-star teams and have a great career. He looks like a .320 hitter with 20 homers type of hitter.... Sprays the ball around, contact hitter with nice plate discipline. He is also playing solid defense. I am not sure how long he will remain as the #9 hitter.

Thought Boone lost us the game when he sent Dellin out for another inning. He did it the 3rd game of the season vs. TOR and it backfired and it did again today. Fortunately this lineup kept fighting back. Torres is special on both sides of the ball. Big series against Boston coming up, let's see how they do when they're not playing teams like the Royals and Rangers
funny thing is we did not play the royals or rangers we just played the angels astros and indians in a row and only lost 1 game we are the best team in baseball

Thanks, MLB for uploading entire innings/games for us. So hard for fans with jobs/families to catch all or even most of our teams' 162 games. I wasn't even able to see the encore presentation on YES of this game. I always end up searching for little bits of games in highlights online or on sportscenter, which is never enough.
Took 3 of 4 from the champs, swept another team with a great rotation. These guys are for real. Now please keep this fire against the Red Sox. Show them what has changed since that first series.
POV: you get this fantastic video recommended to you in August of 2021. This feels like it was just yesterday, but it’s been over 3 years. This team still hasn’t made it farther than they did in 2017, but things are looking up after a disappointing start to the season. And weirdly, most weirdly of all: the random guy playing CF for Cleveland that day recently turned himself into a Yankee fan favorite. What a weird world.

A majority of the team are good young kids, just enjoying what they love to do, and it's been a lot of fun to watch. I'm extremely excited for the rest of the season! Lets get #28 fellas! #GoYanks

They've taken on Brett Gardner's grinder style and amped it up by 100. This is a Stick Michael type of team put together by Cashman. He deserves a hell of a lot of credit.
I'm only twice (plus) as old as you (75) and I, too, have been a die-hard Yankees fan my whole life. I'm living in Alameda, California. And, I'm an avid basketball fan, too. The Warriors, WOW. The Yankees, WOW-WOW. I think I'm going to start sleeping in front of our 65" OLED TV. To borrow from Mel Brooks (also a former Brooklynite), "It's good to be a bi-coastal fan".
Just a mild fore-warning, the Yanks had won 5 straight World Series' then lost out to Cleveland in 54. Fortunately for us NYers, the NY Giants wiped Cleveland in 4 in the WS. And, I saw Willie's catch off Vic Wertz' bat live on TV in Greenpoint, Bvkln. I was smart: I got born in the right town.
Lastly, I agree with you about squad excitement, sort of. Don't forget Mantle/Maris in '61. Now, if we could only bring back Mr. Rivera to pitch the last inning each day. Oh, that's right; we have Aroldis. Ahhhhhhhhhh, Heaven!

Clint Frazier and Bird are waiting to join the party. Clint Frazier currently has a .951 OPS in AAA ball in 2018.

I see a lot of similarities to the 98 Yankees Squad when they seem to never be out of a game and they always made it a challenge for any team to beat them. This dynasty to be should be recognized by Yankee fans as of repeat of the mid 90s and 2000s Squad of young talent, hopefully if the Yankees can keep these guys healthy and signed for the next dozen years or so we should be able to get 4 or 5 World Series rings out of it.
